I totally understand where ladif is coming from even though it is not self explanatory or relevant to the posted topic however the point he made a bout the push is exactly right, if the ogadenia was a legite islamic jihad then Allah would have granted victory.

Well caveman what i can say is this. Islamic though in forms of government came to a stop very long ago. strides have been made to re-establish islamic rule. Rasulullah said that the knots of islam each will be loosen 1st the knot of rulership & last the knot of Prayer. Under the proposed Hobyo Project the foreign policy would definately win back the the lands of the ogaden as long as the people occupying those lands affirm themselves as muslims and try to understand that the only reason why the state would fight ethiopia is under those terms i.e the people are muslims and they wish to be under the reign of Darus Salaam. The state would not fight over territorial claim and that is the ethisom dilema. Somali's fight over a boundry forget that the land is not the sovereignty but the people. I still believe that the ogaden even Ethiopia as a whole can be a wilayyah under the banner of Darus Salaam (Please search for my post Hobyo and i guess you would understand more what i am talking about.) Also do you know that ethiopia is perhaps even more unstable than somalia? i don't want to go into detail because of security reason but i see somalia one day sheltering refugees from ethiopia.

I hope ot to sound like i am an ethiopian and please bros and siss don't even go there because i'm not and that would be just a waste of talk. what i can say though is that i am learning about somali history and what i found is that after the Gaal (which i understand to mean foreigner) drew the line hatred was stirred up between the 2 countries. Now! Islam is al fitrah! our religion is very plain, clear and extremely simply. Islam's code is do or die, hence if we muslims do maa sha allah if we do not as allah said he will replace us. Rasullah said "Oh Allah never let my ummah suffer from drought, the ngels and Allah replied Ameen" how then is Somalia suffering from drought? my point is is that we muslims stray off of the path of islam very easily and when Allah sends his calamities to us we even stray further and tend to believe that we can fix the calamities ourselves, it is human nature. look at Musa A.S when he had the toothache. Brothers Ethiopia is nothing but a test and punishment from Allah upon the somali people. the remedy to the ethiosom issue is the somalis relying and turning back to Allah. this would mean ruling under isllamic shariah and being united under one amir. if you don't believe me then i asl you, do you see somalia as a united land in the future under one amir? very hardly huh, then i rest my case. also if somalis fought the ethiopians as Muslims instead of somalis, victory will come, same goes for iraq, same goes for palestine and same goes for the chechens and the kashmiris, this ummah is not divided but one body with one head.

Salaam, My knowledge of somalia has grown tremendously with the Hobyo Project, which is very advanced now as well, however i remember a time when i use to hate Ethiopia, even the very existence of it boiled in my heart, until the constitution for Hobyo was finished i realised that Ethiopia was not the enemy rather the friend. Let me explain. Under islamic law it is haraam to adopt the ideology of nationalism since there are only two nations in the world Darul Harb and Darus salaam, and this is the belief of the muslims. so to fight ethiopia for a boundary that was put in place by the british is totally baseless and unconstitutional under islamic law. Allah says in Sura 5:49 do not let them entice you in some things for you will go astray. here our brothers are fighting over an ideology that is not islamic. fighting for years our brothers have now believe that this is the way to restore somali dignity. Subhanallah!!! Somalis are nothing without islam, hence Somalis should start to restore Islamic dignity, in so doing perhps Ethiopia would enter into the fold of Islam and become brothers after all instead of enemies.

Salaam, it is approaching 2 years now since i started the Hobyo project and i must say that i am pleased in ceratian aspects and not in others. So far we have formulated the Constitution with the second draft, to be srutinized in the courts of madhalim. We have developed an economic plan for the first seven years to form a strong economic foundation. It is planned that after 7 years hobyo would be the most productive city in the whole of Africa. The need which is greatest now is qualified personnel to fill some of the vacancies in the administration. The initial duties are designing and implementing various projects to add to the efficient productivity of the state. salaam, It is ashame that muslims today question what is the way out of all this turmoil. Yet they have islam now for over 1400 years. When we ask these questions we show that we are not deserving of islam, because we do not believe that islam has all the answers. if we did then we would not ask such questions like what should somalia do? We must realize that Rasullah S fought for 23 years to establish the khilafah system and when it was destroyed in the late 1920's islam has fallen in all aspects. i implore you to read my post on Hobyo and assist in reviving islam in somalia and the world.

Salaam, Baydan. Wallahi i would love to post up everything on the net so i can get maximum support, however i'm sure you would realize the danger in doing that. If this project proves succesful in the near future, the enemies of Islam will also have access to thid inmformation. Salaam All!! I have not been on for a l9ong time as i was gathering a lot of info about hobyo and believe it or not i got a lot of info. I made quite a bit of calls and receive a good bit of info. can you imagine only about 10,000 at the most lives in Hobyo now? well now i have a better picture of the place. Salama i do agree that tolerance is good and it is encouraged for muslims to practice it, however the first article above brings to light some very important issues in Islam. Firstly, we should always remember that Allah does not need any of us to be muslims but we need him. and that it is a favour he does for us why we are muslims and we could never repay him, hence If a sister knows something is wrong and MAKES an excuse, then that sister is a kaafir, why? because the meaning of KAafir is - One who covers up or hides a thing. By making an excuse for not doing the right thiing one indeeds covers up, this is why Allah says, When you accept islam, come into the deen fully, not half- Meaning you should not be thinking about or bring you past baggage into the deen, there is no place for it. Salaam miskeen, tasawwuff is important just as how you see knowledge is. i think you are not aware what tasawwuf is and are blinded by deviant sufis. i have met deviant salafis as well who make takfir on others even though the Nabi S said not to. so in each group we have deviant. the worst thing to do is blame the entire group because of a few salafis. if i was that ignorant i would have said that salfis are part of a cult because of how they act here in the caribbean, however alhamdulilah i know better. Let me shortly try to explain tasawwuf. Remember when Allah said "Even if you have an atom's weight of pride in your heart you will never enter jannah" well i ask you this, HOW DO WE RID OURSELF OF PRIDE? and that is tasawwuf- the acquisition of internal knowledge to please our lord. the reson why we have many deviants i can understand, did you grow up as a muslim? If not i'm sure you would remmeber that glowing feeling iside when you first leared about Allah. Wallahi it is a very Very good feeling that reverts like myself have. and it is common in everybody that accepts islam. again it is such a feeling that i can't explain. now in this feeling every convert thinks of himself as special and hand selected. this same feeling is felt by the murid. this is why it is important at the beginning to have a good sheikh. Miskiin i am also a murid and i can tell you, that not because some deviant sufis did bid'ah means that that is what tasawwuf is about? how hypocritical a muslim could bne for generalizing? If you want to say that tasawwuf is deviant because of the actions of a few! then all muslims are terrorist!!! don't you see what you are doing? it is the same that the kaafirs are doing to us now, GENERALIZING. I can say here in the Caribbean there are many Salafis and they are the reason why every jamaat in the caribbean has a split, because these self appointed ulema passes many fatwa on the jamaat and even make takfir on the members of the jamaat, WHICH I MAY ADD IS STRONGLY AGAINST THE SUNNAH!!!! My brother, division in ISLAM amongst your brothers is strongly prohibited, and about 99% of the salafis i live around thrive off of that. Even here in my jamaat there is a Salafi brother who cannot even say kalimah tayyabah properly but yet he passes fatwa. Even though the majority of salafis i meet shows such hostility (Even though allah says Islam is a mercy to mankind) i Know through my studies that salaafus-Salih is not like that. If you don't believe me, My wife is the daughter of one of the Salaf shiekh of Trinidad and he knows i am a murid, however he knows what tasawwuf is and he knows i am not deviant. If you love your brothers in islam, try for the sake of Allah and his deen to learn what tasawwuf is. According to sh. Maududi-" Tasawwuf and Islam goes hand in hand" and please stop generalizing for it is better for you if you don't. salaam. P.S. This is also why the ummah is so divided, because we cannot appreciate the views of our bretheren. Do you remember when the Sahabah had differences they respected each other views? even between halaal and haraam? such as the time AFTER the prophet death when the prophet gave the order to attack a tribe and other sahabah were of the opinion that the order died with Rasulullah? well the sahabah did not fight among themselves. Until a person calling himself a salafi display such qualities, i believe sufis and others will then call that person a salafi. Allah says - Iqtasamu bi hablillahi jamee'ah wa LAA TAFARRAQU BIHI!!!! -" old on to the rope of ALlah and be not divided with it. Salaam

I remember doing that hadith in Madrasa yes, can't remember the sanad though, however it goes on that liars will be honoured and the trustworthy hated. NB that the first part is some separate ahadith like the tall buildings etc. so it is not one whole ahadith rather a compilaion of various hadiith.

Taqwa just to add, the shariah also defines further if the person commiting fornication was a virgin, i believe the lashes are less, can't remember how much though. however on this point i want us to know about the hadith where he ® said " al -Ghibatu Shaddu minal zina!!! that is the downfall of muslims, that we talk about each other, slander each other, we do not posses brotherly love that we say we have.

I need a director of internal security, transport, finance,foreign affairs (many languages)Health, culture, immigration,Communications, etc.
