Well not long ago i used to be Arab basher, but after visiting recently two arab countries i came to the conclusion that they are not what they seem to be accused for.Hospitality that i received was great and i suggest to every one to hold their horses before they can see their own eyes and then judge .But if you have to well you have every right to do so but at the same time flip the coin on the other side and tell the good part .

May God Grant Him Jannah, and we pray for him. AAMIIN -
The kid in the article spoke metaphorically . To judge which it was a slander or praise we have to analyze what was behind his metaphore? If you're saying "Somaliland" does not have brains to do what is right and justice then you are mistaken, this is not a contest b/w muslim nations to show who out demonstrated ,but in due time Somaliland will do what is right and already has done, you are not there so you can't possibly speak all the Somaliland ppl. Secondly le's compare for a second "Somaliland" to the "South". I hear or see everytime i check in somali site's ,that the southern raped or kidnapped another innocent somali women in the premises of muslim society? Ceeb Caleek how on earth you don't mention that , perhaps your radar tuned to the Somaliland nation and blind folded any other act of adultory and rape that is happening in the South. I am not angry here but i hate when i see some one who is raising their voice but ignore the roots of evil. First clean your house before you direct your insult to the Somalinaders! as for the demonstration i beleive no person who is right minded will ignore this insult to our Prophet (PUH).

Scientifically speaking in general Women or girls aged sooner then men by 5-10yrs gap. So always it pays off to get hitched if you are measuring your life in "age" only some one who is older then you atleast 5-10 yrs gap.For example if you get hitched some one who is about your age let's say 20yrs by the time you have your first flower"child" he is 21yrs and you outgrew of him by 3-5yrs in age , so you will be 26yrs max. That is only measuring your life in "Age" but there are some other quality you have to be looking, certainly money is not my list?.

king_450 replied to Caano Geel's topic in General
First and foremost God Give them Jannah.Secondly it is clear that SA no longer has the manpower and the means to police these holigans who run over innocent Haj Want bees. It is time they inlist the help of other muslims cz this act happens every other Haj people are dying and there is no corrective measures from the SA.But again how can you enlighten a rich hard headed Kings who don't care the life of other muslims? -
Mohamoud Hassan A former staff member of the BBC Somali Servie The BBC Somali Service,in promoting Britan's overall foreign interest. Since Mr Mohamed knew all these lies why not come out at an earlier time? why now? just because he lost his Job gives him the right to tell us what was happening in BBC"somali" section. I wonder if Mr Mohamed still had his job will he ever mention to all of us what we knew and now him telling us? Well again he has the balls to come up and correct his wrongs. As for the Dialect competition , i think it is good to see different somali dialect broacast the somali news,so far i have not seen "May May Dialec" broadcasted from the BBC somali news. Imagine that. Some of you will have been astonished.

Hornafrique, well 1st 10x for the lame reporting secondly isn't it fact that col yusuf was the first man to try to overthrow the former dictator and since that time he is been in exile, and in response to his action we know what we call. "Genocide In Galcayo (USC's assault In the Mudug Region) Concerned Somalis - March 19, 1991" Please go back and do right reporting to all of us and don't just pick and choose for your likings.

king_450 replied to BORN_BRANIAC's topic in General
Finally it is Sat. Well i blv this thread is inteneded solely to the Somali Women i hope, cz the society we are living within their women always ask these questions, what are you doing this wknd? do you want have fun?? do want go to the movies? isn't that asking you date and even perhaps making babies? -
I don't think he needs to have her consent to marry a second wife, our relegion allows to do so, but for respect he can tell her his intension but not required her permission. That is my understanding ,if not drop a line .

Atleast you did admit that you went there and came back in one piece, can you say the same in any other regions? what you mean you wouldn't want to live there in a million years. Guess what i don't think you wanted there either if you don't want the success of "SL".

My hat's off for both of them and any other somali who is striving to succeed at any profession. I can't wait to join this venture in a short period of time, if fahima goes to north i will definetly try to help perhaps in the south even though i am skeptical about the safety out there ,but any medical graduate will take the following oath. The Oath of Hippocrates I SWEAR by Apollo the physician, and Aesculapius, and Health, and All-heal, and all the gods and goddesses, that, according to my ability and judgment, I will keep this Oath and this stipulation to reckon him who taught me this Art equally dear to me as my parents, to share my substance with him, and relieve his necessities if required; to look upon his offspring in the same footing as my own brothers, and to teach them this art, if they shall wish to learn it, without fee or stipulation; and that by precept, lecture, and every other mode of instruction, I will impart a knowledge of the Art to my own sons, and those of my teachers, and to disciples bound by a stipulation and oath according to the law of medicine, but to none others. I will follow that system of regimen which, according to my ability and judgment, I consider for the benefit of my patients, and abstain from whatever is deleterious and mischievous. I will give no deadly medicine to any one if asked, nor suggest any such counsel; and in like manner I will not give to a woman a pessary to produce abortion. With purity and with holiness I will pass my life and practice my Art. I will not cut persons laboring under the stone, but will leave this to be done by men who are practitioners of this work. Into whatever houses I enter, I will go into them for the benefit of the sick, and will abstain from every voluntary act of mischief and corruption; and, further from the seduction of females or males, of freemen and slaves. Whatever, in connection with my professional practice or not, in connection with it, I see or hear, in the life of men, which ought not to be spoken of abroad, I will not divulge, as reckoning that all such should be kept secret. While I continue to keep this Oath unviolated, may it be granted to me to enjoy life and the practice of the art, respected by all men, in all times! But should I trespass and violate this Oath, may the reverse be my lot It is deep isn't it. Anyway my time is about to end, but those of you who have no idea who was "Hipocratic" here is some hint. Origins of Medical Ethics Hippocratic Oath (400 BC) Hippocrates is known as the Father of Medicine. Born in Greece (460 BC), he approached medicine and disease as something having a rational explanation rather than superstitious origins as was popular at that time. He pioneered many aspects of modern medicine that we take for granted; he accurately described the symptoms of disease, believed in preventative health practices, promoting personal hygiene and a good diet, and believed that the brain was the source of thoughts and feelings rather than the heart. He founded a medical school and developed an Oath of Medical Ethics for physicians to follow. The Hippocratic Oath has formed the basis of more recent medical oaths taken by students as they begin the practice of medicine. The chief tenants of this Oath are: 1- honor instructors in the medical arts pass on the Art only to those bound by the Oath 2- practice for the benefit of patients; "do no harm" 3- give no deadly medicine or substance to produce abortion 4- enter homes for the benefit of the sick 5- abstain from mischief and corruption 6- doctor-patient confidentiality
