You've annihilated the opposition with verifiable facts and quotes. Their only recourse(save a few exceptions) were rhetorical questions and snide one-liners. A few points aside(absolute blanket judgment, etc) , you're on solid footing here, friend. Kashafa, Annihilated? That's a strong word! Qutb is on a learning curve, he just found out some things and he is running with it. He still has a long way to go and InshaAllah The Almighty will widen his horizons.

Originally posted by Say(y)id Qutb: You ask why rafidi'shiatees are allowed to perform the hajj...It was this guys who stole the xajratul-aswad and did not return it for a couple of years! Are they muslims? We would be better off without them coming to the Hajj because all they do is "steal" from other muslims during the hajj because they think that it is a good thing to do! This seems a good case for the establishment of a CRB who will check all the visitors' previous crimes before being allowed to perform Hajj.
  3. I'm getting worried about Mourinhos tactics; he has made sure that the pitch at Stamford Bridge is horrendous so that Barca can have a difficult time playing. The Chelsea players have had a couple of months to get used to the bumpy surface which Mourinho hopes will help them defeat Barca, a team famous for it's amazing passing abilities (on the ground) and superior talent.
  4. Qutb, Who made you the judge? If they were non-Muslims, why are they allowed to perform the Hajj? No one here agrees with your views, but hey, you always have the option of accusing them of having "affiliations" with Iran.
  5. Originally posted by Say(y)id Qutb: Iranians can say what they want, as they are not muslims ! Originally posted by Say(y)id Qutb: It proves my point that you're a Miskiin and "ignorant" person, who does not know much about Islam because if you had real knowledge, you would not go around and labelling people of hypocracy and not being a "muslim". Astaqfiruallaah!
  6. Johnny, You don't have to be offensive in our faces by posting such images. We are already getting enough disrespect from non-Muslims  Nabi Issa (AS) is a Prophet of Allah SWT and deserves respect too but Muslims are often (unfortunately) less vocal when it comes to offensive caricatures of him. Please delete the above image as it is very offensive!
  7. Originally posted by SeeKer: Xiin, Islam is modeled in almost socialism fashion.............what then would be the ideal government? Seeker, Perhaps a council of scholars that are permanent members (just like the Supreme Court of USA and the Iranian Guardian Council) who overlook the application of laws. Underneath them a form of parliament with democratically elected politicans who run the affairs of the nation (like the Majlis or Senate). What ya think?
  8. Blessed, Nkrumah had good intentions but was over-ambitious. Nyerere (who helped many countries to gain independence) achieved much more and Lumumba would have done even a better job if the USA hadn't plotted against him just as they did against Nkrumah. The west disliked the Pan-Africanists. There aren't as many assissinations and plots against governments, with the help of corrupt leaders, the IMF, WB and WTO gets the job done for them.

Interesting Many of us who grew with up watching the Vietnam war movies always believed that the Vietnamese people were the bad guys who were to be killed. The unforgettable scence from MIA where Chuck Norris emerges from underneath the water and sprays bullets on unsuspecting Vietcongs made us all happy. The same applied to the Soviet Union during the cold war, every villain had a Russian accent and the Americans were the good guys. Well, you shouldn't believe everything you see on the screen.
  11. Originally posted by Castro: ^ They do. There's just no fat around to activate it. LOL. So you are saying that one has to be fat to begin with?
  12. How come impoverished people in Africa don't have (or lack) "fat-genes"?
  13. Originally posted by SeeKer: Viks humor me if you may here. There is a commonality between all three divisions i.e. They are correcting/remodeling the religion according to what they see fit...Why the reform talks and calls? What is it that is lacking? Not at all. The third group I mentionned is not following its whims. I said they are "seeking re-interpretion of existing laws based on what they have at their disposal (the Qur'an and Sunnah)." They are not seeking to change Islam, or 'reform' it in the manner occidentals are calling for.
  14. SeeKer, It depends on who is calling for these 'reforms'... 1) Irshad Manji/Salman Rush-die et al (former Muslims) - they would want to change Islam to what they deem is 'acceptable' (i.e. acceptance of hosexuality, change of hudood laws etc). They just scoff! 2) The western scholars and politicans - these want an Islam that is NOT involved in politics and social law. They would like a passive religion where people go to mosques once a week and drink beer the other days and above all, keep quiet. 3) Islamic scholars - They fall into different categories (some like the MCB work for western or their respective governments and their opinions might be biased) but the respected and recognised ones who call for reform are usually seeking re-interpretion of existing laws based on what they have at their disposal (the Qur'an and Sunnah). This group does not call for the 'teeth to be pulled out' but merely seek to re-construe, they are mujtahids.
  15. Folkeparti has really had a negative impact on the Danish people. This is what Denmarks 'Danish People's Party' (Folkeparti) campaign posters looked like a few years ago... “When she retires, Muslims will be a majority in Denmark.†The Danish People’s Party. Because we’re taking the future seriously. "Denmark's future - your country, your choice!"
  16. Northerner, Federer is one tennis player with no weaknesses in his game, just ask Roddick who had his high speed serves sent back at an even higher speed I think he would have beaten Sampras 8/10 games, that's how good he is. masso, He's shown to be the undisputed king of grass and also the best on hard-court so far. He won the US-open and also the OZ-open, for some reason, clay seems to be the surface he dislikes the most.
  17. Castro, Kanu and co underatted the Laudrup brothers They did the same in 1994 when they lost to Italy. African teams have two maladies; lack of organisation and a high level of corruption and and interference on the side of the federation and politicians. The DR Congo team were planning to boycott the games until their president called just before the match and guaranteed that their wages and bonuses would be paid. Some presidents/ministers decide who is in the starting 11, things like these make the players nonchalant about playingfor for their country and concentrate more on displaying their talents to the hundreds of agents looming in the background.
  18. IP, KK? Vad fan! Du tar honom liksom fran stekpannan och in i elden. Originally posted by Castro: Who cares who kissed who? Why don't people keep their skank stories to themselves? Castro, Things have changed man! Waxan caadi beey la tahay dadka qaarkod.
  19. Castro, That is what a friend of mine says too. But Nigeria won the cup in 1994 and went on to play well in the WC in USA the same year. In 2002, Senegal lost in the final to Cameroon on penalties but went on to perform well in Japan-Korea. Togo and Angola are not better than Senegal and Nigeria, the latter two paid for their slow start to the qualifying campaign. I think they should hold the CAF every four years just like the WC and EC, only then would we have a more competitive tournament. Plus, the racist Europe should allocate more spots for African nations in the world cup (South America with 13 countries gets five spots for the WC and Africa with 54 countries gets the same number).
  20. Originally posted by Liban The Man: Where is this guy from, anyways? Cuz he's got the last name Cisse(spelled the somali way, even) and first name Djibril, same way they spell Djibouti. This would lead me to believe he's Djiboutian. Is that true? Liban, Cisse (pronounced see-say) is a common name in West Africa.

    nabi khadar

the one and only, The story of Khidr is one of the most remarkable stories in the Qur'an. Why not read it for yourself in Surah Kahf (Surah 18 from verse 64).
  22. Angola and Togo seem to be heading home already, how the hell will they cope at the WC?
  23. This is more like it... Rugby (raga ad-adag): American football (sissies who play the same game as above but with helmets, pads, crotch-protectors and to make it proper sissy - tights) PS: Soccer is called football by the rest of the world.
