  2. Originally posted by General Duke: Abu, in Iraq by this time hundreds of caoilition soldierswere dead and the whole country was brought to a standstil by the insurgency. To compare this to Iraq is just laughable. Quite incorrect. Somalia is under occupation for 1 month; for the first month (3-2003) of Iraq under occupation, 65 American and 27 British occupiers lost their lives. That's a total of 92; not "hundreds of caoilition soldiers." Evidence

What's wrong with Muslims helping or fighting alongside their brothers and sisters? Non-Muslims (Ethiopians, Americans, iwm) are helping the secular transitional government; why shouldn't Muslims help the Islamic Courts Union?
  4. Originally posted by Caamir: It is not new to us that this type of despicable action would occur in Mogadishu. This type of action occurs in the "civilized" and "free" world where there's no anarchy or civil war, commited by "civilized" people; I don't see the point of singling out Mogadishu.
  5. Originally posted by Northerner: "People saw that as condoning discrimination against people who had alcohol." "I would leave my job, instead of doing something that's not allowed in my religion," he said. What's there to discriminate about alcohol? Is alcohol like milk, water or medicine? Everyone knows the damage alcohol causes to one's life. Kudos to Adan and Muslims like him; Muslims in the West with such integrity and steadfastness have become a rarity.
  6. Originally posted by makumba: what can we learn from iraq and afghanistan that will do us any good, when we are the ones selling each other to the ethiopians? Well, the Iraqis and Afghanis have been there, done it; they sold each other to their enemies. Iraqis and Afghanis had their own Abdullahi Yusufs and Geedis; the Chalabis, the Karzais, iwm. So, yeah, Somalis can learn from Iraqis and Afghanis.
  7. Originally posted by HornAfrique: I think there is a consensus these groups have been the most marginalized in Somalia's already marginalized society. First, there's no such thing as "the most" when it applies to humans. Absolutism doesn't apply to humans. There's only such a thing as "among the most." Second, that consensus is incorrect; Beelaha Banaadiriga have had their shares of successes, some failures, some marginalizations, iwm-- just like the rest of Somalis.
  8. Originally posted by Caamir: What happened to them was that they hardly played a role in the last regime. Quite incorrect. Beelaha Banaadiriga have been part of the last and previous regimes. In the last regime, the commander of the Naval Forces, some military judges, senior officers of the army, diplomats, mayors, bank managers, iwm were from Beelaha Banaadiriga.
  9. Originally posted by Castro: Either way, I doubt it will achieve anything but add to the excuses of the occupiers to stay even longer. 1 or 100 insurgency videos will not make any difference to how long occupiers will stay in Somalia. That's not the deciding factor.
  10. Originally posted by General Duke: Maxamed Abbas: Dhibaatada Ugu Weyn Waxaa Loo Geystey Beelaha Banaadiriga Maxamed Abbas is incorrect. Every group of Somali has suffered; it's natural each or some groups would overestimate their sufferings. However, history documents reer Bay and Bakool are those who have suffered most (in terms of loss of life). In terms of torture, deliberate killing and massacre, iwm-- Islamists (regardless of any group) have suffered (at the hands of seculars) the most.
  11. Originally posted by MKA Yoonis: Where are the attacks coming from? Long before the invasion and occupation of Somalia, ICU strategists correctly deduced there was an invasion and occupation on the horizon. They advised ICU leaders to order a contingency plan preparing and training ICU mujahideens for a long term insurgency. They requested from the global Islamic insurgency trainers, professionals, instructors, military drillers, iwm. They have also studied and absorbed lessons from the experiences of the Iraqi & Afghani insurgencies, and the successes of Hezbollah guerillas. The TFG (and its Ethiopian and American allies) thinks it has won easily and the ICU hasn't planned for counter punch, but it will learn that when it's too late.

  13. Originally posted by Jacaylbaro: yes ,,, the president was Siilaanyo and that time and he was at the front line all the time ,,,,,,, was da same for Abdirahman Tuur (Allah Yarhamah) ,,,,, I didn't know Siilaanyo was a president; I only knew Abdirahman Mohamed Ali was the first president, Mohamed Ibrahim Egal the second and Rayaale the third.
  14. Originally posted by Jacaylbaro: You didn't get our point Taliban ,,,,,,,,, you hardly understand the points OK.
  15. Originally posted by Jacaylbaro: and what is happening in Adhi cadeeye ??? what did they tell you ??? Never mind Adhi Cadeeye, what about the war and battles during the liberation of your country? Was the president at the front lines? I will perfectly understand if you are dodging to answer the question.
  16. Originally posted by Jacaylbaro: Exactly my thoughts ,,,,,,,,,,,, but how is listening ?? The Islamists; Osama bin Laden, Ayman Al-Zawahiri, iwm have listened and instructed the global Islamic insurgency to help Somalis. Clearly, you can't expect secular governments to help Islamists; even Rayaale's government wouldn't help Islamists, instead he would collaborate with foreign countries (Ethiopia, the US, iwm) to kill them (which is what actually happened). So, this is about seculars helping each other, and Islamists helping each other.

  18. I am sure the majority of those who have made comments in this topic are Muslims; it's their duty to argue from an Islamic point of view and support those brothers/sisters who are upholding or practicing the teachings of Islam. It makes little sense if one is a Muslim but argues from a Western (non-Islamic) point of view.
  19. Originally posted by Jacaylbaro: We should call the Sheikh and tell him this ,,,, if he is ill and weak then he shouldn't say such Fatwah ,,,,,,,,, It's one thing if there's a shortage of fighters who should go to the front lines, but that's not the case with the ICU. In a war or battle, different fighters have different tasks; there are the strategists, scouts, propagandists, intelligence agents, doctors, nurses, iwm. Each is brave and "fights like a man." In modern warfare, a president or one of the top leaders of a country isn't required to go to the front lines; there are such men (generals, iwm) who are tasked to do that. I am sure president Rayaale didn't fight in the front lines during the liberation of your country.
  20. The title of the topic should have been: Anarchy by Uncle Sam's Puppet Government or Peace by the ICU?
  21. Originally posted by DigiTalbAct3ria: After all, the TFG is made up of warlords and the TFG is sustained by foreign firepower and foreign money. A strange dilemma. They need the support of the people for the future, but they need the support of the warlords and foreigners now. They can’t have both. I notice many similarities between the TFG and Hamid Karzai's government. Both contain warlords, criminals, human rights abusers, unsavory and corrupt characters, iwm. Both depend on foreign firepower and money for survival. Corruption is the hallmark of both governments. Both lack the support of their people (sans those who always support any winning horse). What's the status of Afghanistan today? Hamid Karzai is lucky to be the mayor of Kabul. There's far less security today in Afghanistan, with killing innocents and raping girls/women on the rise. Drugs cultivation is booming. The NATO alliance is in disarray and frustration, and nearly on the brink of quiting (if it weren't for the US). The Canadians are whining about losing their lives because other than the Canadians and Americans no other alliance (the Germans, the French, iwm) are willing to go to the front lines. Most important, the Taliban have become far more powerful than they were before the invasion. The US and its NATO alliance are dreading the coming big push (spring offensive) by the Taliban. Financing the war and occupation is becoming problematic as it's draining their treasuries and resources. How long can they go on like that? Not too long, for soon they are going to quit Iraq, and Afghanistan will follow, insha'Allah. And Somalia, the ICU mujahideens will become even more powerful, just the opposite of what the US and Ethiopia projected for them.

Those who have raped ,sodomized, killed and fathered illegitimate children in the past 16 1/2 years, how come i did not hear you say for once they are "Munaafaqis" that is your choosen word not mine,or if they belong to certain clan of yours they are excluded from that "Munagiqiin" label. Let me answer for the dude; the leaders of those who have raped, sodomized, killed and fathered illegitimate children in the past 16 1/2 years are the same TFG leaders. The same TFG leaders such as Abdullahi Yusuf, Caydiid Jr., Qeybdiid, Yalaxoow, Qaanyare, Shaati Gaduud, Dheere, Raage, Hiraale, iwm. And you know who was funding those leaders? The Ethiopians and Americans.

  24. Originally posted by rudy: tell me plz! did any u see any icu dead soldiers draged on the street! lemme know......! It's very probable that the TFG has dragged many slain ICU mujahideens on the street. Remember Abu Ghraib? If the "angelic" and "civilized" Americans did worse things in torturing and killing Iraqis, what do can you expect from the TFG? Of course, the TFG wouldn't let us know about its atrocities of dragging ICU mujahideens on the street, otherwise it would be like shooting itself in the head (not foot).
