Bismillah Salamu Calaykum Wa Raxmatullah Fully agree with you akhi. But I think people are misunderstanding somethings, you know I just don't remember where I read it but I've read that during the prophets (sallahu alehi wa salam)time don't know how to say it in english, laakin way barakeesanjireen the belongings of the prophet, while he was among them. Maybe I am wrong, insha Allah someone could clarify this for us. But I agree there is no significance with these things today, it reminds me about a hadith I read where the prophet (sallahi alehi wa salam) said(something in these terms) don't praise me after my death like the jews praised their prophets, I am only the slave of Allah...

Bismillah Salamu Calaykum Jazaka Allah khair it was really beautiful Masha Allah this one is my favorite Allah’s Love and Aid for his True Devotee] Whosoever shows enmity to someone devoted to Me, I shall be at war with him. My servant draws not near to Me with anything more loved by Me than the religious duties I have enjoined upon him, and My servant continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory works so that I shall love him. When I love him I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask [something] of Me, I would surely give it to him, and were he to ask Me for refuge, I would surely grant him it. I do not hesitate about anything as much as I hesitate about [seizing] the soul of My faithful servant: he hates death and I hate hurting him. It was related by al-Bukhari. Masha Allah a very beautiful article ya ukhti abraar, may Allah bless you for this reminder/aamiin There's a Sahabi I have come to love soo dearly, he is actually the first one that comes up in the book of the companions, his history is remarkable, it opens up your eyes and shows you the good people of that time were so different from us today, they did not live merely on words and dreams they acted upon the deen , may Allah make us among them/aamiin Sa'id ibn Aamir Al-Jumahi web page

Bismillah Salamu Calaykum Wa Raxmatullah May Allah reward the writer for this reflective piece- aamiin Surely we have all been fooled by our youth thinking we still have time to increase more in ibaadah tomorrow, but what we tend to forget (and it's because we haven't taken it into our hearts and mind that death is certain and one of the things man will never flee,)another minute is not something promised to us. The Salaf they used to think that they would not live to cross the corner, death was a certainty to them, insha Allah we must make it a reality, something that can come anytime, only then will we be able to get the best of our time and increase in ibaadah and come closer to Allah through submission, actions and love May Allah forgive and help us remember him constantly/ aamiin

Bismillah Even if that is somehow acceptable , The ones that make to Jannah will never have " hur Ain" like their male counterparts ,as there is no male Hur ain" wonder why ? Indeed a mouminah is content with what her Lord revealed to her in the Furqan. No male hur al ayn is mentioned, and indeed a Mouminahs reward is with her lord, and truly what a Great reward, she will be well received in jannah and everything her eyes, heart and ears will delight on will be presented to her....who could ask for more? To be saved from hell and granted Al Jannah…indeed no one

Bismillah salamu calaykum fat boy I belive you are maybe referring to the hadith of the rasuul (sallahu alehi wa salam) who said the majority of the inhabitants of the hell fire is women. And Insha Allah anyone with faith in his/her heart will not last in the fire. wa calaykum salam

Nabi Sulayman had I think 99 or 100 wives And doesn't Ilaah mean God? Islam is the religion of All prophets but it was "completed" or "perfected" during the prophets time. I could be wrong. But I am sure that if not all the prophets nabi Ibrahim had islam as his religion. On the Day you shall see the believing men and the believing women - their light running forward before them and by their right hands. Glad tidings for you this Day! Gardens under which rivers flow, to dwell therein forever! Truly, this is the great success." Could someone tell me what sura this verse is from

Bismillah Salamu Calaykum The Believers are those who say we hear and we obey, to the comandments of their Lord. BarakaAllah fik akhi fi Islam, indeed you have spoken on the Haq, may Allah forgive us all and guide us to his right path/aamiin Insha Allah this is something for those who disbelieve and laugh at the believers Surah Al-Mutaffifin 34 But this Day (the Day of Resurrection) those who believe will laugh at the disbelievers 35 On (high) thrones, looking (at all things). 36 Are not the disbelievers paid (fully) for what they used to do?

Once, the Prophet Sulayman said that he would have a son from each of his wives. Since he did not leave the fulfillment of his desire upon the will of Allah (swt) by saying in sha Allah, only one of his wives bore him a child, and even then, it was stillborn. When Sulayman (as) realized his mistake, he became very sorry and asked Allah (swt) to forgive him and to grant him a kingdom which no one else would have after him. Allah (swt) accepted these prayers and granted him a mighty kingdom. http://www.ummah.net/khoei/soloman.htm Prophet Sulayman (A.S.) in response to his special prayer to Allah was granted Kingdom and was given power over the forces of nature, over the Jinns and men and devils and other living creatures. He was also endowed with knowledge of their language and could easily communicate with them. http://www.ezsoftech.com/stories/prophets.asp

Bismillah Salamu Calaykum wa Raxmatullah I was reading this Hadiith in Bukhari, I wanted to know, what the Prophet(pbuh) ment by "had it not been for the supplication of my brother Sulayman(as)" I think if I remember it correctly from the qisas al anbiya, Nabi Sulayman supplicated to Allah to give him a kingdom unlike any. Among the favours bestowed upon him was he was given "lordship" over the jinns. And I believe it is what our noble prophet (sallahi alehi wa salam) is referring to in that hadith. It is a good story for those of you who love to read stories of the prophets. A good book I would like to recommend is Ibn Kathirs Stories of the prophets. You can order it here http://onlineislamicstore.com/b2632.html wa calaykum salam

Bismillah Wa Calaykum salam wa raxmatullah I always ask this question to revert’s and insha Allah, it won’t trouble you, but do you mind sharing with us, the story of your "reversion" to Islam. To me that kind of stories is a source of inspiration.

Bismillah Salamu Calaykum wa Raxmatullah All praise be to Allah `The Exalted, the Rabb of the worlds, and our Prophet, Muhammad `Blessings and Peace be upon him', and upon all his family and companions. When I embraced Islam in 1983, by the grace of Allah , one of the first books which I was given to read was a translation of Kitaab At-Tawheed by the renowned scholar, Muhammad Ibn `Abdil Wahhaab: I understood very little of it and was driven to the conclusion that this was because I was new to Islam and therefore lacked knowledge. It was only later, when I was fortunate enough to study the book, Taiseer Al-'Azeez Al-Hameed in Arabic, that I realized that not even Arabic speakers try to understand Kitaab At-Tawheed without the benefit of an explanation. It has therefore been in my mind for some time to try to provide English-speakers with an explanation of this great work, but unfortunately, other projects diverted me until now. In compiling this explanation, I have relied mainly on Al-Jadeed Fee Sharh Kitaab At-Tawheed by Shaikh Muhammad Al-Qar'aawi, Tafseer Ibn Katheer and a number of books of Hadith. I ask Allah that He accept this humble effort from me and make it of benefit to my brothers and sisters in Islam. " Our Rabb! Punish us not if we forget or fall into error, our Rabb! Lay not on us a burden like that which You laid on those before us; our Rabb! Put not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Pardon us and grant us forgiveness. Have mercy on us. You are our Protector; and give us victory over the disbelieving people" (Qur'an 2:286) On Tawheed Allah , says: " And I created not the jinn and mankind except that they should worship me. I seek not any provision from them, nor do I ask that they should feed Me. Verily, Allah is the All-provider, Owner of Power - Most Strong" (Qur'an 51:56) Allah , informs us that it is He Who created the jinn and mankind, and that the wisdom behind that creation was that they worship Him , Alone and reject the worship of any other, and that He did not create them for any benefit for Himself, but in order that they should worship Him ; and He has undertaken to provide sustenance for them, and He is the Most Truthful in keeping His Promises and Able to fulfill them, for He is Strong. Benefits Derived from This Verse 1. That the wisdom behind Allah's creation of the jinn and mankind is that they worship Him Alone. 2. Confirmation of the presence of the jinn. 3. Allah's complete independence from His creation. 4. That the source of all sustenance is Allah, but the slave is commanded to do all in his power to attain his needs. 5. Confirmation of two of Allah's names: Ar-Razzaaq (the All-provider), Al-Mateen (Owner of Power). Relevance of This Verse to the Subject of Tawheed That these Qur'anic verses show the wisdom behind the creation of the jinn and mankind is worship of Allah , Alone and the rejection of all objects of worship besides Him. ..ooOOoo.. Allah , says: " And verily, We have sent among every community a Messenger [proclaiming]: "Worship Allah [Alone] and avoid the Taaghoot .1 Then of them were some whom Allah guided, and of them were some upon whom the straying was justified. So travel through the land and see what was the end of those who denied [the truth]" (Qur'an 16:36) Allah , informs us in these Qur'anic verses that He has sent to every community of mankind a Messenger , who conveyed to them the Message and ordered them to believe in only One God – Allah and to reject all those false gods besides Him . And the people who heard from these Messengers are divided into two groups: The first, those whom Allah guided to goodness and who responded positively to the guidance of the Messenger and abstained from all that was forbidden to them; the second group were forbidden from success and rejected the truth, and therefore they were losers, both in this world and the Hereafter. And whoever travels throughout the earth, seeking to learn from it, will see the evidence of Allah's Retribution upon some of those who stubbornly rejected the Guidance of Allah and His Messengers , such as `Aad, Thamood 2 and Fir'aoun.3 Benefits Derived From This Verse 1. Evidence that mankind has not been neglected and left without guidance. 2. The universality of the Message to all nations, and the fact that the Message brought by each new Messenger abrogated that of the previous Messenger. 3. That the mission of the Messengers was to call the people to the worship of Allah and to reject all false deities. 4. That the Guidance of Success is through Allah, Alone. 5. That the fact that Allah has ordained something for a person does not necessitate His liking for it. 6. The desirability of travelling througout the earth, with the intention of taking heed of the example of the communities of old, whom Allah has destroyed because of their disbelief. Relevance of This Verse to the Subject of Tawheed That these Qur'anic verses prove that worship of Allah is of no benefit if the worship of others besides Him is not rejected. ..ooOOoo.. Allah , says: " And your Rabb has decreed that you worship none but Him, and that you be dutiful to your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of disrespect [uff!], nor shout at them, but address them in terms of honour. And lower unto them the wing of submission and humility through mercy, and say: "My Rabb! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was a child."" (Qur'an 17:23-24) Allah , commands all those obligated to obey Him to worship Him, Alone and to observe filial piety and devotion; and He affirms the right of parents upon their offspring immediately after mentioning His right upon His slaves. Then He describes some of the types of filial piety, especially when they become frail and elderly, such as not displaying annoyance with them and not raising one's voice or scolding them, speaking to them in tones of gentleness and kindness and supplicating Allah on their behalf - both while they are alive and after their death. Benefits Derived from These Verses 1. The obligation of worshipping Allah Alone. 2. The obligation upon every Muslim of filial piety and devotion towards both his parents. 3. The communal responsibility of the whole Muslim society to ensure the rights of parents upon their offspring. Relevance of These Verses to the Subject of Tawheed That these Qur'anic verses prove the obligation of worshipping Allah , Alone, without partners. ................................................. http://www.uponsunnah.com/forum/showthread.php?t=127
