  1. The gluttonous west should just eat the starving Africans. They might as well. They're eating damn near everything else.
  2. Ngonge wants to narrow this to freedom of speech and I don't mind that at all. Provided, of course, he would acknowledge that such freedom is not immune to verbal offences and that the prosecution of such offences is subject to historical, economical and political considerations. I'll be back later.

The woman clearly had a dumb blonde moment, but just as clearly she meant no harm. The reaction she's garnered is hardly rational. Are you telling me the owner (founder, CEO, or whatever) of a major manufacturing firm would be so gullible (dumb blond moment?) to offer dog food to starving humans? I reject that suggestion, good Callypso. The woman is a bigot and she's being appropriately lambasted. We should lambast, equally, the corruption of the Kenyan administration but their greed is no less damaging than her prejudice.
  4. ^ Rubbish. Hot air balloon kulaha. Atheer you went there to visit, not to live. So does this mean you live in Columbus, OH? Or is it Cleveland? How about Erie, PA?
  5. ^ Breath slowly atheer. Calm down. Originally posted by NGONGE: Still, the issue is one about the supposed line that has been crossed. You’re implying that this is the first time this line has been crossed, saaxib! I can’t, for the life of me, understand why you would imply such a ludicrous idea. The line of which I speak, good Ngonge, is one that demarcates faith from followers. There's an unwritten rule that the faith of a people is beyond ridicule (at least publicly). In the matter of Quran flushing, that was a breach. And so is this. This is not the first time, you are correct, but this is the levies being overrun. The beginning of full breach, if you will. It is no accident that the theme of terrorism would be central in the cartoons. In fact, that was the whole point of the bloody drawings. What the paper is saying, and many around the world agree with, is that Islam is a faith entrenched in terrorism. It's one thing to accuse Muslims of being terrorists but a whole other ball game to suggest, nay insist, the faith itself is the handbook for roadside or turban bombs. This was a political statement that echoes (and cements) the current climate of intolerance and bigotry that the so-called "free" world is suffering from. "Etiquettes and decent practices" are not compulsory, until that is, you mention certain events that occured between 1933-45. I'm approaching this issue pragmatically, good Ngonge, and with that in mind, I'm putting things in the larger context of the "war on terror", the xenophobia and immigrant bashing in Europe and other major events occuring nowadays. These cartoons were not drawn in vaccuum saaxib. They're part and parcel of a real, overt and consistent attack on all that is Muslim, Arab, African, poor or all of the above.
  6. ^ Indeed. I am wondering, however, if good Ngonge would kindly remind me of a time, or place, a muslim publication insulted the prophets or the gods of any religion. Sure we tear into the flesh of the followers. I believe that's fair game as Ngonge so eloquently mentioned. But there's a line that's been crossed saaxib. And unfortunately, its one muslims cannot not and will not reciprocate in kind.
  7. ^ Don't tell me you live in that pitiful town. If only I could get back the 16 months I spent there.
  8. Originally posted by Callypso: The "offer" is from a private NZ citizen, not the government. Some of you are acting like Christine Drummond = New Zealand. What gives? Sure it's a private citizen of New Zealand. Just like the private newspaper in Denmark. Good Callypso, there's an unmistakable undercurrent of racism, xenophobia and hypocrisy gripping the west at the moment. I've been giving the benefit of the doubt for the better part of two decades saaxib. The writing is on the wall. It's on.

  11. ^ Yac! There was never any race. It has been a one man show (Xiin) all along. The rest of us were just there for the gossip.
  12. ^ Abraareey, I too feel for the bachelor SOLers who must compete with Xiin and his ferocious and insatiable appetite. Not to mention Ducaqabe who's walking around with a stack of arjiyo Ducaqabe: I was hoping no one would notice. Such great dimensions I've added to the discourse here.
  13. ^ Abraar, you're in dangerous territory here. You've walked into the Bermuda triangle of senile Xiin, geriatric Castro and dangerous Ducaqabe. And you do know what happens to ships in the Bermuda triangle, don't you? Originally posted by Abraar: Ahem, why are you acting like you weren't at the forefront of the stampede Atheer timirtii horaba dab loo waa. No min-yar in my forecast.
  14. ^ You are right Abraar. But we also share some of the blame. Yes, us, the average, innocent, Africans.
  15. ^ Alright, alright, you're off the hook.
  16. ^ LOL. That's hilarious. I neither know (nor care ) what platform Rayaale ran on or uses to govern.
  17. Originally posted by Johnny: ^^ I´ll have to run a DNA test on ya in that case, you can´t trust anybody since the Exodus Atheer!! I would test negative for the antibodies atheer. Well, I´d choose a Borama girl over Las Anod girl , but it ain´t about Xalimos. Fascinating. I'm afraid I'll have to disagree with you though. LA cannot be touched in the entire nation. So if it's not a Xalimo, what is it then?
  18. ^ Yes, atheer, dhareerka waa layska duwa but I'm not so idealistic to believe a starving person would reject dog food to survive. What I'm mad about is the audacity of NZ to even offer such thing. But most of all, I am mad at our people (ourselves) for creating the conditions that lead to starvation.
  19. Originally posted by Johnny: but that is a choice NZ is obviously not making, what to do? I have an idea. They can stick all that dog food where the sun never shines.
  20. Originally posted by Johnny: ^Atheer, name Borama and you get each and every hair in my hairy body stand up,something is so special about the place. Hmmm. Still the mystery remains unsolved. I don't have that jidhidhico and its my ancestral homeland. Something is fishy about your longing, saaxib. There must be a Xalimo involved.
  21. Originally posted by Johnny: Atheer, aren´t we talking about certain death ?, Isnulting is what it is for those who can stay alive without eating that dog food, life saving is what it is for those who have no choice. Johnny tu n'est pas un ange. Atheer do you not see any insult in this? Is this purely humane?
  22. ^ It's the title of a book atheer. Below are the basic (psychological) needs of a human. In paranthesis, I translated that into material needs: 1) security or safety (nice ride and crib) (2) effectiveness and control (ability to pay rent/mortgage) (3) positive identity and self-esteem (nice clothes) (4) positive connection and esteem for and trust in others (sex) (5) autonomy and self-trust (nice job that pays well). (6) comprehension of reality or world view (socializing) Much of the above requires money. Love is not a basic need.
  23. ^ Dog food my matako saaxib. That's insulting. I hope to live long enough to see muslims and Africans stopping whites from developing nuclear weapons, rejecting their "democratically" elected leaders and offering them dog food to feed their starving masses. Ya rab.
  24. JB, I must understand this obsession you have with Borama. First you claim you were raised there, then you infilterate a Boramian wedding. What's next? You'll come out of the closet and declare yourself openly khaldaan? Going to a wedding reminds one (married folks) of just how many single women are out there.
  25. ^ Ah, I forget. I'm just an "openly khaldaan" dude. No stock value whatsoever.
