I was at Indigo bookstore the other day. I was reading about a new book about the continent of Afrika, when I came across this following quote in the Soomaali chapter of that book. That chapter was filled anecdotal and humourous pieces about Soomaalis. The quote: Apart from war, camels and themselves, Soomaalis love poetry. Unsurprisingly their poetry is largely about love, war, camels and themselves. Camels come top. So are you one of those Soomaalis the author is describing?
