  1. There were some others who were political prisons for decades that were freed at the same year Mandheela was. They were freedom liberators too, some spending as long as Mandheela himself in same harsh prison. Hal qof sheegi karo magacyadooda maku jiraa inta? Of course not. Reer Galbeedka ma buun buunin dadkaas. I for one will await this 'outpouring grief' from Reer Galbeedka media when Castro stops breathing as well.
  2. You are part and parcel that perpetuates this negativity. Waxba ha ismoodin wax kale.
  3. Yaabane, Gaalkacyo micnaheeda sheeg haddii lagu dhaho maxaa dhihi lahayd? Soomaali badan magaca si qaldan u micneeyaan. Waxee moodaan in magaca loogu magacdaray Oromada. Saas ma'aha. Gaalkacyo = Geelkacyo. Ereyga gaal magacyo badan oo qabiilo iyo meelo loogo magacdaray ayuu wataa, waana geel sida hore loo dhihi jiray. Laasgaal meesha la dhaho oo Waqoiyi ku taal waa sidaas oo gale.
  4. Aabahiisa waa mudane marxuun Aaden Diiriye. Nin sharaf badan ayuu ahaa, lixdamaadkiina xildhibaan Bakool laga soo doorto ahaa. Guriga ayuu imaan jiray, duqa ayee saaxiibo weyn ahaayeen.

  7. Only in Mareykanka, lambar #1,002 and counting. Within a year waxaan la isku dagaalaayo obsolete ayee noqonaayaan and qashinka ayee ku daraayaan. The ugly side of American materialism. In addition, they don't need those stuff. But they are still buying (in credit probably) in the name of 'great sale'

  11. Waxee kaliya ku kala duwanyihiin waa labiska. Dhalinta Reer Holland, tusaale ahaan, isla markii waa soo saari kartaa. Dhar ku dhag dhagan ayee gishtaan iyo timo la qooye oo jeelo laga buuxiye. Qaar ka mid ah Reer Iskaandineefiya waa iska saas camal iyagana. Reer Ingiriiska, kuwa marfishka dilay, waa soo qaban kartaa iyagana. Dad bil qabeysan u egyihiin. Reer Mareykan, kuwooda 'yo-yoga' iska dhigo iyagana waala keeni karaa, kuwa shaqada xun dishay iyagana waala soo qaban karaa iyagoo u muuqdo dad rafaadsan oo nafaqo aanan afkooda gilin waligood. Reer Imaaraadka iyo Khaliijka kale, kuwaas dumarkooda iscaddeynta ayee qalad ka fahmeen oo aad iyo aad isku caddeeyaan waa meesha ay 'dayaana' ku dhamaatay. Iyagoo iscaddeeye haddana boorbaro isa sii mariyaan markaas ayee maro cad socoto oo jini la moodo u ekaadaan.
  12. Habaarkaan maxaa waaye? Islaamo isku dhex yaacay camal u inkaartamoysiin. Kiikuuyada dantooda yaqaanaan ee anaga danteena ma naqaan? Kuwii sheeganaaye madaxtinimada maxee ugu hadli la yihiin arrintaan. I was ambivalent about this jaad ban issue, but no more. I hope it is illegalized in every country.
  13. Dad marqaansan oo malaay la daacsanaayo ayaa ka hadlaayo meel aynan B iyo T ka garaneynin. Keep marqaanka.
  14. Darn. Starting threads while using a mobile phone waa too marax. Eniwey, if you find any mistakes, blame the mobile format.
  15. Ever since the government in UK announced they will illegalize jaadka a few months ago, Kiinyaati politicians, from their president to their trade associations from Meru region were making loud noises against the future ban of jaadka from UK. This month, some MPs from Kiikuuyo land have paid a visit to London, lobbying heavily the British MPs. It seems they might have listened. Read on. ____________________ Britain should scrap plan to ban khat drug - MPs The British government said in July that it would ban the drug, which is already prohibited in the United States and much of Europe. Parliament has yet to approve the decision. Banning the use of khat, or qat, would create tension between the police and immigrants, particularly Somalis who have settled across Britain, the committee said in a report. It would also be seen as a betrayal by Kenya, where growing khat is a big source of income in some areas, the panel added. Any damage to bilateral relations could undermine the two countries' joint fight against militants. "It is baffling that potential friction, between already disadvantaged communities and the police, has not been fully considered," said committee chairman Keith Vaz. "We cannot afford for those who are already marginalised to be pushed towards criminality or extremism." Home Secretary Theresa May said in July that the ban would help prevent Britain from becoming a hub for the illegal trade in khat to countries where it is banned. She also cited evidence that khat has been linked to "low attainment and family breakdowns". Kenyan lawmakers told the committee that a khat ban in Britain could lead to people once employed in the trade joining al Shabaab, the Islamist militant group in Somalia. The committee criticised the government for its failure to discuss the proposal in more detail with officials in Kenya, a former British colony. "Considering Kenya's importance as a partner in the fight against international terrorism, and the well-established links between poverty and radicalisation, the lack of consultation on this issue is particularly concerning," the committee said. Instead of a ban, the committee said the government should consider licensing khat imports to help prevent Britain becoming a hub for traffickers of the drug. Reuters

The victim said during the interview that she was raped at gunpoint in Mogadishu and names her alleged attacker" “She admitted to have been pressured to make the video by [bashir],” Omar Osman [Employee of Radio Shabelle] said, adding that police have not arrested the man accused of the rape. Last month government security forces raided Radio Shabelle arresting all journalists at the station forcing it to shut down. All I am saying is I can play the blame game too.. Fitzgerald said "reserving judgement is a matter of infinite hope." Well at least folks shouldn't be quick to make judgement from their electronic devices, when in fact they are very detached from such scene. But such inclinations are expected given our relationship with government over the few years. SomaliPhilosopher;987055 wrote: ^^ Oh didn't notice that comma. Well, that doesn't change what i meant. "bashir" is the one who pressured her, an employee of Shabeelle. How do you know that? Because a government afhayeen said so? You take as face value whatever an afhayeen of government utters or alleges? Kamoon.

But such inclinations are expected given our relationship with government over the few years. Cabdiraxmaan Cumar Cismaan (Yariisoow) is afhayeenka madaxweynaha, not an employee of Shabeelle. He is the one alleging the victim is pressured by warbaahinta Shabeelle. So Cumar Cismaan (Omar Osman) is not a worker of Shabeelle as you mistakenly quoted above.
  19. Also it only shows how many threads in each section, not how many posts as well, as it does on non-mobile versions.
  20. It works great in Firefox mobile browser, not so good in Opera mobile as you can see in the following images. First is the Firefox mobile screenshot. And the other is Opera mobile. Since I use Opera mobile more, I hope Admin. addresses it.

Dad madax Soomaaliyeed sheeganaayo haddana afaf shisheeye iskugu gudbinaayo xiriirkooda. Anshax xumaa oo maamus daranaa.

  23. Xamar, its inner spirit, still looks quintessentially beautiful after all what is done to this wonderful city. Specially at the beginning of this clip. The pavements (sidewalks) you see in the initial minutes of the videos is recently rebuilt by dowladda Turkiga. A lot of landmarks ayaa muuqdo, ninkii yaqaanaa yaqaano.
  24. For this self-declared Cuban: Cuban artillery Carlos Orlando, 20, stands with two Somali insurgent soldiers at this village in the [soomaali Galbeed] desert following his capture. Somalia officials said Orlando was part of a contingent of Cubans helping Ethiopia in the desert war on the Horn of Africa. Cuban soldier Carlos Orlando, 20, (foreground with overcoat) talks to reporters here following his capture by Somali insurgents in the war-torn [soomaali Galbeed] desert region of Ethiopia. Ethiopia has denied it was using Cuban soldiers in the war against the insurgents and Somalia showed Orlando to reporters to back up their claims to the contrary.
