Oh man i am dying to watch 28 days, but everyone i know is a such a wimp and is scared!,doesnt help either that the only theater playin it is all the frigging way downtown :mad: :mad: But i am going to watch..if tis the last thing i do!

I say we as muslims should live our lives according to the Islamic laws of conduct, culture and traditions are those matters that define us as somalis...if any of our traditions go against our religion, then i dont see the conflict forget culture ! Everyone naturally loves their culture from the clothes to the food to the stories and to the lovely little traditions we have..but one has to have priorities.

July 22/03 I couldn't sleep tonite..my brother's silly bird somehow left its cage and flew into my bedroom...i am light sleeper..so i wake up hearing these small footsteps and fluttering in my bedroom..at this moment of time i am in utter shock, the fluttering kept on getting closer to my bed, i get up quickly, slowly wake over to the light flicker it open and there i see the stubid blue jay in front of me. lol i was so mad, i went straight to my brother's room and told him to get up and take his bird out of my room before it does something to it...however i felt bad for him it was 2 am in the morning and he was so deep in his sleep. With no one else to help me and i just locked the dumb bird in the room and went to watch some tv until my mother could wake up for fajr and carry it out of my room ! Well i better run, i have an appiontment.

I would like to second Barwaqoo's question. Something else that slighty disturbs me, is when you said that she acts as if nothing has happened...is there no guilt whatsoever? U really cant do anything,pray that allah forgives her and and tell her to pray for forgivness.

I think the only people who ever called me nayaa are my abo, grandparents and my freinds and perhaps my brother once or twice, and thats when he wants to turn me into his servent which naturally never works! I find it offensive if someone who is a complete stranger to me begins to use that word..its like i dont know you so how dare you !! but if my uncles or cousins use it from now to then i usually let it go.

I saw it when it came out in the movies, a long time ago i think it was christmas..not sure though I loved the acting, the set, the fight scenes and how freaking graphic, it was so fantastically real BUT ! lol here comes the "but" the story was not so orignal...a kid seeks the revenge for his father's death, falls in love with the adpoted daughter of the villian, ends up killing the villian and leaves town..with the girl. Where is the twist, if there was a twist anything, unexpected that would have made the movie unforegtable. Remember the titanic, the twist in that movie for me was leo dying..in a cliche movie he should have lived happily ever after with Rose. But at the end of the day its not a bad movie to watch at all. I give 3 1/2 stars

July 16th Doing nothing exciting staying home today after a loong shift at work yesterday, actually my first real shift at work.I better understand now what my parents go through every day when they leave for work. ITS NOT EASY !!..heeh. Cant wait for my cousins to come from london to visit us. And now i am just looking around the site before i go to my room to read my fav book for the 4th time

1--No, I would not out of personal prefrence, but his deen should stand above all. 2--No, I don't 3--It is not wrong to discuss sex with close female friends, to have proper knowledge is important. 4-- Very important. 5--Marriage is calaf. 6-- Divorcing was always the right of a muslima, i am not sure if my information is correct but before the marriage contract is signed the shiekh should ask if the two people who should be married, who desires to have the right of divorce. Now adays it automatically goes to the guy but the woman should be consulated.If there are problems in the marriage the woman has the right to request a divorce. 7--I dont agree with it, its mutilation and as we know mutilation is haram. I dont know nowadays...i have come to the belief that mariage is completly calaf, i have no idea if i will marry or not, therefore planning on something so unsure is hopeless and annoying to me.Oh man do i feel like the party pooper , but if i do get married (inshallah) it will be small with people whom i care about and very tradtional too..i cant stand those white dresses..an amazing silk dirac with a beautiful set of pearls will do it for me.
