Ahh...makeup I use to be big on the mascara, lip gloss, Mac powder, eye concealer, blush, eye liner..the works lol.. But its a simple realization...why cover urself up..are u not good enough..the way u are?...why be a clown? (personally) anyway..at the end up it was only the concealer that was left...due to a bad history of an unbalanced complexion! I suggest u never go near makeup as the other posters mentioned..if u fall for it becomes an obbession Salama

^ lol true, i personally i hate dogs they scare the frits out of me...in that terms i dont think i have a scary personality..!

Alot of mothers out there, out of love for thier daughters want them to experince the best moments of thier young life. Without being tied down by any responsiblity, that to them will come later i life..i doubt that ur friends mother is coming from a negative place, but her reasoning is naturally wrong. Now to ur friend, she should not be concerned at all of what the other muslims in the school would think of her but of the wrong act she is thinking baout commiting..if she feels that she is utterly uncomfortable with the hijab, ask her to honestly question her logic -I honeslty went to through this phase but alhamdulilallah had friends who slapped some sense into me. The hijab makes us unique, we are one of a kind..I am not sure about ur freind but to me after a while the peice of material becomes a part of my identity..I dont feel like myself without. With the bald comment hell let her tell them she is bald..go have a cow ! And for the prom yashiekha, why not have ur own party with friends? It doesnt have to be an extravagant deal..few friends and a place where u belong and feel comfortable! Peace and hope to have helped

^^lool, honeslty most of the people around me family, friends..whoever ! are bluntly racist, i doubt that it comes from negative place but like it was said...we love ourselves too much. I am sure most of u have met that old woman who cant believe u think somalis are africans ! what can be said.... On the topic at hand, would i marry a non somali...personally no, too much would be given up but at the other hand i dont know how things in my life would play out so what honestly matters at the end of the day is the person being a good muslim and his akhlaq. Salamath

The bible is a wierd wierd wierd wierd wierd and let me repeat this wierd book, that has been revised several times its nonsense! I took a class the other semester that deafted the entire bible and its message, it was rather sad to see how many examples of evident edition and re-edition are present. It really made me wonder how these people continue to believe in the religion. ps. the reference from the psalms, is about babylonian children being killed and not the children of the jews, naturally the reason is due to the exile. It doesnt make it any better!

Are you saying that there is NO possible way that an Islamic leaders can be corrupt? When it comes to politics, EVERYONE has their own agendas I do not claim to know everything that there is to know, but i care to believe that the men who ruled after the death of the Nabi (P.B.U.H) such as Caliph Abu Bakar(ra) Caliph Umar (ra) Caliph Usman (ra) Caliph Ali (ra) Were statesmen that ruled for the sake of Allah and the well bieng of the muslim ummah and not a personal agenda. A couple hundred years later too, Sultan Salah-ud-din Ayyubi Sultan Noor-ud-din Zangi Two rulers who contributed greatly to the salvation of the islamic faith my defeating the crusaders several times in their lifetimes..these were rulers, statesmen, politicians..... There is no doubt that our history as muslims is littered with corrupt leaders, but not every politician leads a personal agenda some were there on the seat of leadership to guide our people into glory! **If i have made a mistake in any of the above information please correct me as we all are students***

No ur not being harsh at all, the cream is a disgusting thing, its the horrible notion that the lighter u are the more beautiful u are. We have all heard those remarks made our freinds or family members, commenting on the beauty of a girl and the first thing mentioned is how fair she is ! not that she might have the most lovely eyes or whatever. And if u have experince with people who use the cream you can easily notice who uses it, they utterly look abnormal sorry but they do, thier faces lack a certain healthy glow to it. And ofcourse some lack intelligence to apply the cream on all visible skin...so lol there will some dark and lights showing..wierd. I thnk its an issue with self-esteem and a need to be admired... LOVE UR SELF FOR WHO U ARE

Mashallah! Honestly respect them for this action... The government should organise more programs to benefit the Muslim community, rather than tarnish good eastern values by bringing in such "obscene and immoral culture," it added

Ya rabi all those lives lost over grazing rights!!...i am sure if they let the goats decide where they ate meals...no one would have died. May Allah have mercy over the souls that were lost and the ones still alive Peace..

lool darman, thats jokes wallahi..today was rather strange for me, iam usually one of those people that once a begger asks me for money i hand over whatever change i can manage..and anyone in toronto would know the weather today was horrible, cold as hell!.. So i am standing there at the Yonge subway station waiting for the train..when this lady comes up to me asking me if I had a toonie so she could grab something to eat and walahi she looked sad and miserable. So as i was digging into my pocket to find a toonie, I hear this lady asking me to put my money back in my pocket, i was like what!?..she pretty much told me that my hungry friend here is a regular to the station and that i shouldnt waste my hard-earned toonie on her... So i put back my money and simply say that i didnt have enough..waiting for the miserable looking lady to go crazy on me..but instead she just walked away from me and thats when i see her counting all the money she collected lol..she had a pocket full of toonies hehehe walahi i couldnt help but smiling at her. People will do anything for money.
