  1. First that depends on the size of the harasser.. If he or she is bigger then me and all of my friends...cell phone out dial 911...and Yell *I Called the Police on Your ***...and then run! If he or she is rather smaller..you can scare them easily..it all depends on the sitution somtimes when u get involved the person being hurt turns on you and starts cursing thier head off at u! so ... yea.. okay... Apple Juice or Lemonade?

  16. knock knock..hmh, yea wondering may i join this crazy argument?...and secondly i do not wish to be affliated with any squad..the middle ground is just fine...*Dusts the ground between the two groups and sits down with her cup of shah* Oi, X i went through all the four pages to actually see if someone even tried to mention that feminism had different branches ! Bless You I wonder if its the word that worries the people and not the actual different movements. *************X's post ****************** there are many brands of feminism and they range from radical, to anti-racist, so all feminists arent of like mind, and QAsim Amin's is what i like, b/c it only there to put pressure on the muslim countries to fulfill their obligations but giving women their rights that were already given in the Quran. I wouldn't promote anything that was in contradiction to my beliefs. ***************Qac's post ******************** the idea of feminism goes against islam... untill u could prove to me it doesn't... *********************************************** It all depends ya akhi, yes it sound so foreign! a completely western idea, that somehow is trying to enforce its self on ur Islamic values..! In reality when u look at maternal feminism for example, we can see that it in truth doesnt advocate anything a practising muslim may find strange! **********From a site*********************** Maternal feminism is the term that has been used by scholars to describe the ideology that drove many of the leaders of the suffrage and temperance movements in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Infused with the language of domesticity, it called upon women to define a public role for themselves as women, sisters and mothers so as to improve society, and particularly to alleviate the suffering of women and children. For these women, there was no contradiction between the traditional role of women at home and participation in public life. Their actions in the public sphere were no more than an extension of their role in the private sphere. These women projected their maternal role beyond the confines of their own family life: they felt that as sisters and mothers, they could introduce into politics a unique perspective that issued from the concrete realities of women's lives, including the hardships wrought by poverty, abuse and alcoholism. ************************************************** What I have a feeling ur opposed to is Radical feminism *****************From a site******************** Women are oppressed by patriarchy. 2. Patriarchy is a hierarchical system of domination and subordination of women by men. It consists in, and is maintained by, one or more of the following: · Compulsory motherhood and constraints on reproductive freedom · Compulsory heterosexuality · The social construction of femininity and female sexuality as that which is “dominated” · Violence towards women · Institutions which encourage the domination of women by men, such as the church, and traditional models of the family 3. To end the oppression of women, we must abolish patriarchy. This will potentially involve: · Challenging and rejecting traditional gender roles and the ways in which women are represented/constructed in language, media, as well as in women’s personal lives. · Fighting patriarchal constructions of women’s sexuality by banning pornography, and rejecting traditional heterosexual relationships. · Achieving reproductive freedom · Separation from patriarchal society? ************************************************* ^^^And naturally anyone who believes in Islam will be opposed to this or for that matter any one with commonsense !! All I have to say is that base ur opinions on solid facts..its hard in a ever changing world..yet we need to try... Salamzzzzzzzzz !

    Would you?

Dating is haram...it can only lead to the wrong..it is a delicate matter...i would spark conversation not in hope of anything but in search of a simple conversation to see, to hear, to know if there is a way for possibly..for a maybe, a we? If there exists Mutual attraction and understanding the next step should be taken with consideration towards the proper parties involved, ie ur parents... Ps. I wasnt quite sure what u meant by dating..if it was the westernized form of, "lets go for dinner and drinks" or if it was what i mentioned above! Peace...
