Have you guys found your outfit for the big day?? I would like to wear a nice dress, but the options are so limited! All the pretty dresses are short :mad: So finals week is just beginning and I won't have time to hit the malls until days before my graduation. Wow it looks like I'm in the minority here. Like Lakkad, I'm a shy person, so I tend to avoid the spotlight at all costs! I do plan on getting married in the future, inshallah, but I'm really not interested in having an all out bash. To be honest, I'd rather save my pennies, and have a PHAT house! LOL I'll probably end up having a lunch for the men & a small party for the women. I don't know I'm only 18, so I'm sure I'll change my mind in the future... who knows!

Yeah, I know what you mean. I'm from DC, so there aren't many Somalis around. But when I do come across one, we ALWAYS greet one another. I came to Minnesota, and I learned quickly that not only do you not greet ppl, but they go out of their way to either look you up and down or stare. I don't get that... AT ALL!
