If you know a cousin or a brother or a friend, you think they are gonna get trouble with the law please advise them, tell them to go to Somalia or Kenya or somewhere else before they get caught in the acts...Go home for a holiday...b4 its 2 late... More than 2 million americans are behind bars...
  2. "The clever bit is we don't want to give the wrong person the wrong hair back." What's that mean?
  3. There is something about this landlocked nation with one of the oldest federal charters with three different and equal and competing languages and people that almost never had a major war -- neither dagaal sokeeye nor dagaal xuduud, even includin being Hitler's neighbour-- almost a thousand years, where not a year went when all their neighbours had had squabbles, skirmishes and wars all the time. I beg to differ; the past seems to suggest a view of a bloody savage swisses hacking each other in civil wars and bloody invasions by French, Austrians and Rusians • 1291 the struggle (meaning a bloody war) against the Habsburgs • 1315 the Holy Roman Impire came and kicked Habsburgs butt in another bloody war thousand of lives lost • 1440 teritorial conflict Zurick succeded an other bloody civil war had to take place • 1449 broke away from the Holy Roman Impire (in a bloody war of course) • In 1506, Pope Julius II engaged (fought) the Swiss Guard • Suffered 1st setback in 1515 with the Swiss defeat in the Battle of Marignano (yet another bloody war ) • The success of Zwingli's Reformation in some cantons led to inter-cantonal wars in 1529 and 1531 (their own Somalia thing) • The conflict between Catholic and Protestant cantons persisted, erupting in further violence at the battles of Villmergen in 1656 and 1712 (More bloodier) • Under the Treaty of Westphalia in 1648, European countries recognised Switzerland's independence from the Holy Roman Empire and its neutrality But it never ended there, the bloody wars continued and the savage Swiss at the time paid a costly price • In 1798, the armies of the French Revolution conquered Switzerland and imposed a new unified constitution (The new regime was known as the Helvetic Republic and was highly unpopular. It had been imposed by a foreign invading army, had destroyed centuries of tradition, including the right to worship, and had made Switzerland nothing more than a French satellite state.) • When war broke out between France and other countries Switzerland found itself being invaded by other outside forces from Austria and Russia • The Congress of Vienna in 1815 fully re-established Swiss independence and the European powers agreed to permanently recognise the Swiss neutrality • In 1845, a civil war broke out between the Catholic and the Protestant cantons (Sonderbundskrieg). Of course Switzerland has been peaceful n prosperous for the last 150 years or so but that is also true about many other countries
  4. To many I think Amiri's drawings and artistic vision has a problem of inconsistency...
  5. How delightful to finally hear and see (fancy or not) different names on the screen than the names of those thugs in Baydhabo...It's about time...It serves right for the country, for the people, for the common interest and for the enemy of the nation should fearfully think twice now before it starts meddling in our affairs like it used to...For tweny years we put up with their BS year after year...My god, how strong our clanish backbones are!!! Three thugs represented my tribe and your tribes of course for the last twenty years with impunity...Twenty years, all they come up with has been that Somalis are divisible along 4.29 tribal lines... to hell with them.. I am rooting for anyone else to hopefully succeed but not them...I could care less about these Xabashi Stooges
  6. Oh No!Listen to the Pope...He is ANGRY as hell!!! Get him a country to invade
  7. No one in here can imagine, can even try to guess how much I loath and “hate†and despise the BBC in Somali. More than anything else, even including your Iskis-niyus and Fokis Janells, I hate the BBC Somali with an extreme but peaceful passion…I don't particularly adore Garaad Yusuf the least as a newscast either, but now, right now my dear comrades I like the guy, like him simply because he is destroying what I deem to be a useless, violent-spreading, hatemongering dubbed as a news outlet in London for the good of nation, for us… Garaad is my hero as he takes on this giant co-operation and he smashes it to the ground for ever. BCC is an enemy of Somalis pure and simple...I think FOR the demolition work he is doing overther, we should all stand behind Garaad and let him sink this poison-packed ship gradually as he is doing rightly so… BBC became a standard Somali news radio but as many will agree it is a propaganda machine built several decades ago for the only purpose – to divide even more and to confuse the heck out of the local Somalis...Keep up your work whatever it is...Mr. Garaad, I am (THE NATION IS) behind your secret goals 100%...And whenever you are done with the BisBISEE, the Americans may see the light and employ you as a senior editor for their Fokis and Iski Niyus snakeheads…
  8. Correction: Everybody in Muqdisho is under the protection of the ICU even including the ones you mentioined their names...the technicals and the boys who guard them are handpicked and selected and controlled by the I.C.U.... Therefore, Perhaps, it fits here to say that Ali I-see-dead-Aidid-in-my-nightmares-everynight-Mahdi Moxamed got the same offer from the mullahs but become too concieted and opted to ignore the system and thus broke the law in the process...and consequently got the punishment for it...It suits him and everyone else who try to get away with a wrongdoing everywhere.

I think the Utah sister wives will tell you it's all individual choice...Despite all the facts, there is no link between religion and polygomy...most of the women into this poly-wife -poly-husbands thing whome i personally happen to know are not religious the least bit. traditional maybe, or maybe they've grown a non-western bones in their skeletons but it's not because of religion that they are more prone to accept such "a deal". Wlcme Mr. G
  10. Is this occurring in big cities like Johannesburg and Cape Town or is it in the ghettos and small rural areas where economic situations are always dire for the locals? What's the real explanation for these murders? Can the Somalis do different things to protect themselves…Employ a south African perhaps; move to better and safer areas; go into whole sales instead of retails; work at locations where the police is close by maybe... Unless this is epidemic where the Somalis are getting the wrath of the whole nation, I think they can find a solution for these tough times in SA...by considering other alternatives. Similar things are happening in Philippines, happened in Rwanda, in Malaysia, Indonesia, even in the states Arabs and Koreans who run grocery and Liquor stores in the tough neighborhoods get challenged all the time...I wish them all the best
  11. Watch this clip...The Nexus of Politics and Terror....from countdown with Keith Olberman
  12. Today I was reading Ali Gedi's formation of his new government... Think of this, most of these thugs were the people who were running around and getting named for different posts in the last 16 years in like 14 conferences. Ali Mahdi formed a government in 1990 who was in that government? Caydiid formed one right after him and who was in it? Others met and formed a government in Ethiopia and who was in it? Ali Geedi formed one today and I can see same old killers, baby-slayers, rapists, and war-criminals and their stooges. Those who were sending them the money while they were doing the killings and mayhem in our towns and cities and to our families and friends, all sitting there, thinking and devising new ways to exploit the weak. 14 times and several governments formed...and did you not see the names of Cato and Yalahow and abshir and yeey and boqor and Shaati-case over and over and over and over again...tell me what a magic formula do they posses now, what magic brains did they develop over the past 16 years that will turn things around today, now. I think these hideous and sickening creatures belong to jails and I think we are stupider than they are by even talking about them. This has become ridiculous, and insult to our intellect…it is like thou they have the license to destroy the country and kill the women and the kids and expect us all to name them posts in every government and thus represent us with more ruins and killing. Every time, I see the names of anyone of these shameless murderers, I swear to god I feel like someone put a fire in my eyes, my whole body recoils at the sight of these killers, I feel pain deep down inside. Go ahead read the names of these horrible individuals and you will find my uncle, sitting right in there, in one of the best seats, in his new suit, representing my tribe… through 4.1285 tribal doctrine meant to destroy the nation. I’ve a good, secure life away from these thugs and have no worries (thank god) but these people are destroying what's most dear to us (our families) and they are getting away with it. In fact, out of this, they are getting their names and prestige to new highs. Shame on us, all of us, by giving them the platform in a manner that is so indifferent of the crimes they have committed against us. We should take a strong stand on these people and call them with what they are: baby-killers … Trust me my closest uncle is a thug among these ministries, in fact, he was named three times for three different posts in three different governments and his lot and prestige is doubling simply because he is a blood sucker. I despise him and to all those who listen to him, to those who talk about him, to those who poll his popularity, to those who still think that he can bring about a lasting peace after 16 years of him causing the death and the rape of thousands of Somali women directly or indirectly. Let's not do this to ourselves. Let's not be the mouthpieces of this horrible people. Let’s not deceive ourselves. I think its time for us all to stop the insanity. Name them as war-criminals and put these thugs where they belong….which is INTO THE PAST
  13. For 16 long years thugs like Qanyare, Yalahow, Caydiid and Mahdi and Yusuf Yeey and Caato had sucked our blood dry. These guys have been around for a few months, weeks rather. Give them a chance and please be patient..Somalis catostrophic ruins can't be fixed in one or two weeks, it will defenitely take time to bring all the bleeding, human and enviremontal to a stop. Some issues are more urgent and pressing and some are not. And I am sure the ICU is addressin to more urgent and pressing issues (the loss of human lives) right now. PRIORITIZE ... TIME...NICE PICTURES.
  14. A government that don’t look the root causes and doesn’t dig deeper…I think is a government led by a warlord (Cato or Caydiid or Cabdullahi Yusuf or Shati gudud or Yalahow or worse could be a government led by simple minded moronic persons whose whole view of root causes evolve “it’s either my way or the highwayâ€â€¦that you can’t find in a democracy. One of the many reasons why there are all these strong institutions around the government is to ask questions, to examine policy and make policy considering all the angles. This here I don’t think is a dictatorship where you can detain people and ask no questions. The council has the right to ask questions and dig deeper if the government falls sleep on the wheel. I think the council’s unheeded rhetoric would have brought change if the government had opened its ears (its one ear big enough) and listened to them. The councils are voicing their opinions and bringing solutions to the table. It’s the government who’s supposed to listen to these leaders and implement their proposed solutions, not to toss them away and disregard their views as though they have no stake in the defense of the homeland. But the good news that almost everyone is missing here is the fact that the government itself is already hailing them council leaders, in their photo-up opportunities, as very close partners in the fight against terror, saying that they are getting a tremendous support from the Muslim leaders and Imams.... Am I missing something here? Gaal dil gartiisana sii…I think the cheap phrases used here to diminish the current wave of Muslim outrage against all the atrocities in the world is unwarranted
  15. Congrats as well...more daiper changing and less sleep to you....But it's always Rahmah in the end
  16. It's another hair splitting, purely on one side and argumentative bro. Aren't those who tipped off the government, those who worked with them up until the last minute, aren't they those who made the arrests first and unfolded this horrible plot, weren't they Muslims themselves...mind you, Muslims who were trying to do the decent thing in their communities, for their communities??? It's purely illogic to demand the Muslims to do more while they themselves are leading the investigations and arresting the terror suspects before the Stephenson’s of this world and their boys started dramatizing a plot that was under the radar of the Pakistanis for a long while. I think you are only missing the point which is to me how much more should the Muslims be demanded to do and how much more can we the Muslims in the west do to protect our adopted homes here? I would argue they could only do nothing more than they’ve already done. We are not the police. Our role could only come in the form of assisting the police and we are happy to assist and work with them. We are just members of this community, hard working and honest as anyone else, who work, who go to school, who rise their kids and who have busy lives like everyone else’. Of course there is a problem and we are ready to tackle it by working with the law enforcement. But there is no magic solution to apply to this current problem. We have to do our part and we are, no doubt about it, doing it. Even Stephenson admits that the force is receiving “a great deal of co-operation†and getting unprecedented collaboration from the Muslim community in Briton. We are all into this and no Muslim needs to be reminded about that simple fact. The council is trying to walk on a really fine line. On one hand trying to convince the public in general that we are peaceful and mean no harm at all and on the other trying to help the government to apprehend the trouble-makers among us? But honestly what's wrong with digging a little bit deeper and asking about the roooooot cauuuuusesss of these horrible acts? Regardless of weather we agree or disagree with the way the government is handling this matter, I think this needs to be examined from the bottom and up. That letter only urges the government to do its part while the council is trying to play its role in all of this. These here are our homes too bro and everyone knows that we should defend it....
  17. The courts people must be surely smoking some powerful joints. The normal tell-tell signs: hallucinations, psychotic speeches all there. Is this because of the opium talking when they talk like that or perhaps something more sinister is in their “fruit†bunch bowl? Surely these court militias are inhaling a much more potent stuff than anyone else since the long history (16 years and counting) of drug using warlords started running the country. They must have inherited Catto’s drug plantations. And I know that dude, he is good at cross-breeding. The Qat was nothing compared to what Mr. I am Aways-Rush-Indhacado-Limbo’s cousin is addicted to these days. No limits. That light sarcasm aside though, I think they (the new guys) are losing a great deal of momentum and energy and excitement in this crusade. They should first allow the dust to settle in Hamar Cade before they embark on another ambitious campaign to reunite the country from east-west and north-south. What a ridiculous plan. God help us, whenever we or I think that some group here or there is going to make a difference and bring about peace, these sort of crazy journeys and goals seem to be the inevitable replacing caution and Hikmah. Let’s all watch and see how far they can ride on this tide. It’s not the first time, after all.
  18. I am not, have never been a pro-voilent individual in my life but that first article makes a lot of sense to me. Sometimes a reality check is needed in each and every relationship. A true understanding of what's the limit of our capabilities so that, as the author suggests, one may get saved from the current, in other day, from a future and a hasty mistake. Good for the Israelis for voicing their opinions like that.
  19. All I have said my dear Oromo, amhara, tigrean, Sidamo, Shankella, Gurage, Somali, Nubian, Bantu, Harari, Flasha, Adari, Somali brother was a simple prayer for your home and for the rest of my brethren who have sought shelter in those areas...that your government never falls and if that happens a better one in its place. Let me also say, if you can't simply figure this one out yet on your own, Somalia is not in a position to aid you if the worst (similar to what’s occurring around you) befalls on your nation. See that’s all and it wasn’t so bad to be totally negative about it, was it? Just drop, the Buufis, the defensive, inferior mood you are taking onto every bit of a posted reply in here. People are wishing you happy and long life…see... You are reading way beyond the lines." Those were not coded words...they were not meant to cage your people, to fence them off from our territory simply because they are coming from over there with an empty pockets and hungry bellies, but the truth is that it’s good for your own citizens to stay away from Somalia at this time…They are better off in their homes than being in a situation where they can’t be protected. If anything I was siding with you. I have also been asking that same question myself; what sort of exploration, what kind of free market, what economic miracle sprung from Somalia that caused all those weary-eyed masses of Ethiopians, from as far as Gondor and Gojam, to migrate to North east/west Somalia. There has to be a reason for that. And my guess is as good as anyone......(count me out)
  20. When: 09/01/2006 Thru 09/03/2006(Fri, Sat, & Sun) Where: at MNPLS Convention Center D-town Time: To b anounced????? Thank you so much bro for the anouncement. If I can't attend all the three days, I will at least try one or two. And Please, post the times for us as well. Make a new thread for it...Thanks again
  21. Lieutenant Halane; Strong words Indeed. But try not fall into the trap bro...The collapse of Ethiopia will only bring millions more of hungry Ethiopian refugees into Somalia. Have you lately seen the cities of Hargeysa and Bosaso and Berbera? The sheer number of starving Ethiopian refugees from as far as Gondor is humungous? Sections and sections of those cities are now called the Amhara quarters...I think if a plague, more violent than what they got now, visits their cities and towns, we will have our hands full with a lot of displaced Amaharas...No one is like Somalis, with family ties and connections, we survive through tough times but these poor people will die in our alleys and streets and we will not be able to come to their aide. I think we should pray for now an immediate and a new regime in those urine-stained, beer-polluted, Aids-infested, hunger-tainted, poverty-stricken, stinking-potholes of those infected Addis streets so that at least they can stay in their countries. When I was there last year, for a minute, I thought maybe we need to build a fence a long the border to keep the unwanted, the surplus labor of the Ethiopians out. That said I wish them no harm though...
  22. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/4779189.stm Why is it so suprising...African armies rise and bubble away, crumble like that in a day. Ethiopia is no exception... Qofkii Dhoof kayimid baa geeridu dhibaysaa..., ha kugu tagnaato dheh?
  23. Don't they have covered bunker staduims down there? Don't be chicken...what's a Katuyasha except a middle eastern falafel with too much Basbaas on it..lol...I feel him thou
  24. Ilaah baan ka magan galnay such horrible things I wonder thou...the report says the victim was his girlfriend and it also said that "Police discovered the couple's 5-month-old child in the room with the unconscious woman." What's going on? Married once and divorced? Have child throu the relationship without marriage? Or have probably had traditional marriage not recognized by the State? A horribl act thou...Ilaahayow naga badbaadi such...Sadaqo labaxo, wax aan dheer nahay ninkaas ma jirto, it could be any one of us...waa xikmad ilaahay, ee ilahayaga aan isaga booskiisa maanta nagelin ku mahad naqa... "It's a lesson for those who think" why him and not us?
  25. I am sorry to admit but I haven't read the article posted. However, I have always had an issue with these self-congratulating individuals who claim their devotion to the dark continent and the people who live there...selfish, self-interest causes that you need to subscribe whenever your popularity shrinks and your face disappears the front page for a little while...Sorry I aint fallin for that kind of sentiment. Somehow I am sure I am off topic, but that is me, throwin in..
