  1. I never read this garbage (BBC) but a close friend of my send it to me and it was worth a look. I dont have the words to express my feelings! http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/3659658.stm May Allah help all of Us in this world, and may Allah make us among those who are satisfied with the little we get in this Wretched life, and Allah Jala Wa Cala make us upon among those who are patient! for indeed Allah is with the Patient!
  2. From Abu Sa'eed al-Khudree (radiyallaahu 'anhu) who said that Allaah's Messenger said: The example of the believer with regards to eemaan is like the example of a horse with regards to its tethering stake; it roams around and then returns to its tethering stake, and the believer is negligent and then he turns to his eemaan. So feed the pious with your food and treat the believers well. From Aboo Umaamah Iyaas ibn Tha'labah who said: The Companions of Allaah's Messenger (salallaahu 'alaihi wa'sallam) mentioned this world one day in his presence, so Allaah's Messenger (salallaahu 'alaihi wa'sallam) said: Will you not listen, will you not listen! Wearing old clothes is part if eemaan, wearing old clothes is part of eemaan! Reported by Aboo Dawood (Eng. Trans. 3/1158/no.4149) and its chain of narration is hasan From Jaabir (radiyallaahu 'anhu) who said that Allaah's Messenger (salallaahu 'aliahi wa'sallam) said: Do not acquire knowledge in order to compete with the scholars, nor to argue with the ignorant, nor to gain mastery over the gatherings. Since whoever does that, then: The Fire! The Fire! May Allaah have mercy upon you! Know that the Sunnah is not a matter for analogies or reasoning with examples, and desires are not to be followed in it. Rather, it is just a case of affirming the narrations from Allaah's Messenger (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam), without asking how, explaining or saying: 'Why?' or 'How?'
  3. " I am amazed at the people who take care of themselves by eating food out of fear of dying, yet do not protect themselves from sins out of fear of the Fire". Siyar A'laam an-Nubalaa. - Volume 6, Page 348 "Beware of sins which are treated as being minor, just like a people who encamp in the centre of a valley, so someone brings a stick of firewood and someone else brings a stick until they are therefore able to bake their bread. Likewise sins which are treated as being minor and for which the person is taken to account will destroy him". Musnad al-Imaam Ahmad - Volume 5, Page 331 and others " Just as I have mentioned previously, the cure to that which you suspect to be a mistake is to telephone the one whom you suspect has made the mistake and discuss the issue with him, then consider your position after the discussion." Shaykh Ibn 'Uthaymeen
  4. ^^Baarakallahu feekum, Mashallah and All praises belongs to Allah, you've been a member for A long time! ''The foundation of the Religion is following (al-Ittibaa`), and the intellect is subservient.' So if the foundation of the Religion was upon the intellect, the creation would have been in no need of Revelation, nor of Prophets, and the meaning of commanding and prohibiting would be false, and whoever wished could have said whatever he wished."
  5. Rahima you raised two points Unity & Shariyah! There is no country on this Earth which rules by the Shariica (the shariica is a whole system). In addition to Shaykh Muqbil’s fatwas here is Shaykh fawzan Shaykh Fawzan excerpt from a fatwa of the noble shaykh, taken from http://www.fatwa-online.com/news/0030531.htm “Verily, when the shocking event occurred, the event of the bombings in the city of Riyaadh undertaken by the violent and barbarious (savage) hands, in the capital of the land of tawheed, they turned upon the religion, and upon humanity (by way of this act of theirs), and the Kuffaar have taken them as riding animal in order to attack Islaam and the Muslims.†The shaykh says, “The land of tawheed†I don’t expect anyone on SOL to understand these words, since most of the users don’t know the status of this eminent scholar, but for someone who follows the scholars you shouldn’t have problem! like I said, if you doubt my main point here (as I hope I’ve proven with daleel), that disunity is never justified unless it can be established that on one party there is a case of clear kufr, then ask the scholars before you jump to the conclusions you are accusing others of. First this statement is inaccurate for there is no unity with the innovators, I would not have mention this, but you used the wordâ€Never†thus I think its important I clarify that. There is no Unity with the innovators. Plus not every innovation leads to disbelieve,so to limit disunity with the kufar is absolutely not how the salaf understood this deen! this also includes the people of desire,(Ahlul Hawa) We hold fast on the rope of Allah upon the proper Aqeeda and manhaj; that of the Salaf! Prove: Al-Hasan al-Basree (d. 110H) said: "Do not sit with the people of innovation and desires, nor argue with them, nor listen to them." Reported by ad-Daarimee in his Sunan (1/121) Imaam Maalik (d. 179H) said: "How evil are the people of innovation, we do no give them salaam." Reported by al-Baghawee in Sharh us-Sunnah (1/234). Al-Fudayl bin 'Iyaad (d. 187H) said: "Whoever sits with a person of innovation, then beware of him and whoever sits with a person of innovation has not been given wisdom. I love that there was fort of iron between me and a person of innovation. That I eat with a Jew and a Christian is more beloved to me than that I eat with a person of innovation." Reported by al-Laalikaa'ee (no.1149) As for Somaliland seeking separation or any other islamic land… we should work towards unity, as muslims, but this unity is only upon the proper "aqeeda, so those who are calling for unity must call to the aqeeda of the salaf, and they unite upon this single aqeeda; anything less then that is faleshood! we do not unite upon faleshood! So if Somaliland is not uniting with somali upon the correct aqeeda, who cares if they separate, its not like somalia as anything to offer Somaliland! i only support unity under these conditions! there is a nice book by Shaykh Hasan Al Halibi i believe the jordanian shaykh, student of Albani, called,"Muslim Unity" i suggest you read it! as for dr.Saleh Saleh i have regular contact with him, inshallah i shall speak to him! As-San’aanee, in explanation of the hadeeth, "Whoever left obedience [to the Imaam] and separated from the Jamaa’ah and then died, then his is a death of Jaahiliyyah]", said: "His saying, ‘…left obedience…’, meaning obedience to the Khaleefah concerning whom there is agreement. And it is as if the intent here is the Khaleefah of a particular region because the people have never gathered together behind a single Khaleefah in all the lands of Islaam since the time of the 'Abbaasee State. Rather, the people of every region were independent with someone presiding over their affairs. If the hadeeth was taken to mean the overall Khaleefah which the people of Islam had united behind, there would have been no benefit in it." Subulus-Salaam Sharh Bulooghul-Maraam min Adillatil-Ahkaam (3/499) Ash-Shawkaanee said, "As for when Islaam spread and its territories expanded and its regions became distant [from each other], then it is known that in all of these regions loyalty was given to an Imaam or Sultaan… So there is no harm in the multiplicity of Imaams and Sultaans and it is obligatory for those people in whose land his orders and prohibitions become effective to give obedience to him after having giving bay’ah to him . It is likewise for the people of all the other regions." these are my dalil for separation, somalila has nothing to offer; expect chaos Sis its easy to quote the Quran and Sunnah, but we need the proper understanding of the kitab and sunnah, the way of the salaf, you did not quote one scholar to support you understanding of those ayahs and hadiths! www.salaf.com
  6. ^^^ Relax; its not directed to you saxib! its an advice to every muslim, one should be aware of who they take knowledge from...who you sit with ect... www.salafitalk.net
  7. go ask Dr Saleh Saleh Sis Rahima why did u mention him out of all the scholars and talibul Ilm out there, this strikes me as odd, wallah !Do u know something i dont ?!? i really wanna know! As for Unity i will write up a piece inshallah and sis believe me it will be based on the how the companions and the scholars of our time understood Unity! Which no one on the manhaj of the salaf will oppose! and as for your statement that no country rules by the shariyah,Im Shocked you would made such statements. With all due respect, read the following and tell me what you think! http://www.muqbil.co.uk/ headinging: Imaam Muqbil: What I Witnessed in Saudi Arabia The last tape recorded by Shaikh Muqbil, which is his recantation from his previous statements on Saudi Arabia. The Shaikh made this statement after spending many months in the land, witnessing for himself the reality of the land. i also have few other statements by bin Baaz & fawzan speaking about the land of tawheed! A land constantly under attack by those who mingle with the kufar and receive their daily Subsistence from them! May Allah guide them! IM sure for someone who follows the manhaj of the salaf, you know who Shaykh Ibn Hadee' AlWadee'e is and his status in this ummah! and concerning Riba, if A ruler practices Riba, yet knowns is haram, and openly declares it to be haram, however Indulges in it cause he is weak,is this not a major sin? for he has not made halal that which is Haram! these are the questions i put forward to you. one last point, it's become a trand of your to say, "the scholars said this...the scholars said that" you should really make a point of yours to quote these scholars you speak off! their names and their fatwas! Maybe your referring to Salma & Safar and there likes?!? please Rahima due answer all those questions, I value your insight! Ayub Shaykh your from Borama? Hmmm! www.salafipublications.com
  8. al - Fudayl said : " Do not trust the innovator concerning your Deen, and do not seek his advice in your affairs, and do not sit with him since whoever sits with an innovator - Allah will cause him to become blind ." 'Sharh Usool I'tiqaad Ahlis-Sunnah wal-Jamaa'ah' - www.salafipublications.com
  9. Al-Hasan Al-Basri (rahimahullah)said, " Whomever Allaah gives provision and he thinks that Allaah is not testing him, has no wisdom. Whomever has little provision and thinks that Allaah will not look at (provide for) him, has no wisdom." He then recited the Ayaah, “ So, when they forgot (the warning) with which they had been reminded, We opened to them the gates of every (pleasant) thing, until in the midst of their enjoyment in that which they were given, all of a sudden, We took them to punishment, and lo! They were plunged into destruction with deep regrets and sorrows.†(Al-An'am 6:44) He added, " By the Lord of the Ka'bah! Allaah deceived these people, when He gave them what they wished, and then they were punished ." Ibn Abi Haatim recorded this statement. [Ad-Durr Al-Manthur 3:270, Ibn Abi Haatim 4:1291] Abu Malik at-Ash'ari reported: The Messenger of Allaah (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) said: Cleanliness is half of faith and al-Hamdu Liliah (Praise be to Allaah) fills the scale, and Subhan Allaah (Glory be to Allaah) and al-Hamdu Liliah (Praise be to Allaah) fill upwhat is between the heavens and the earth, and prayer is a light, and charity is proof (of one's faith) and endurance is a brightness and the Holy Qur'an is a proof on your behalf or against you. All men go out early in the morning and sell themselves, thereby setting themselves free or destroying themselves . SahihMuslim.Com
  10. Lets post some words of wisdom for the purpose of reflection, contemplation and self-introspection.May we all benefit from them, by way of implementing them in our daily lives. "The Dunyaa is like salt-water; whenever you increase in drinking it, you will also increase in thirst!" " The ailment of the body is in sickness and that of the heart is in sins. A delicious meal cannot benefit the body when the person is sick and likewise, the heart cannot taste the sweetness of worship if it is full of sins." "I know none who has heard of Paradise and Hell, then spends an hour of his life without praying, remembering Allah or doing a good deed." A man said: "I weep so much." He said to him: "To laugh and admit your sins is better than to weep and feel proud of your deeds." The man said: "I need your advice." He said: "Abandon the life of this world to its people as they have abandoned the Hereafter to its people."
  11. "When you wish to be pleased with a madhhab for yourself By which you will obtain nearness and safety from the Fire Then make devotion with the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah That has come from the Messenger of Allaah from the Narrations of the best(companions)! And leave alone the religion of ar-Rafida and al-Bida' (innovations) Which leads its caller to the Fire and to destitution But traverse behind the Companions of the Messenger For they are stars of guidance by whose light the traveller guides himself And depart from the path of ar-Rafd For it is founded upon disbelief, upon an undermined cliff There are only two paths, either guidance and happiness Or wretchedness alongside the misguidance of the Kuffaar So which of our two parties are more worthy of His safety And more guided in the path when the Creator will judge Is it the one who reviles the Companions, and opposes The Book and does not care for the affirmation of narrations Or the one who guides himself with the Revelation Who traverses upon the manhaj of the Sahaabah Along with the love of the purified near ones" at the end of this article: http://salafipublications.com/sps/downloads/pdf/GSC030003.pdf Question and answer by SHaykh Ibn Taymiyyah!
  12. Is there any evidence that (as long as they speak our language) they're the Callers of ALLAH (as your group always claim) or probably they're seculars, nationalists enz. no because if you read the whole hadith, its evident that its in regards to the muslims here is the complete hadith, plus the seculars and nationlist dont speak our language since they clearily oppose the quran and teaching of the sunnah, they dont speak the language of islam, why the innovators twiss the quran and sunnah to suit their whims, they call to the fire via innovation which is perceived as islam! THE FIRST EVIL AFTER ISLAAM Hudhayfah (radiyallaahu ’anhu) continued: ‘‘So I said, O Messenger of Allaah! We had lived in the times of ignorance (jaahiliyyah) and evil; then Allaah granted us this excellence which we are enjoying, and He has sent you. Will there be, after this excellence, any evil like that which has preceded?’’ He replied: ‘‘Yes, O Hudhayfah! Learn the Book of Allaah and follow what is in it! Learn the Book of Allaah and follow what is in it! Learn the Book of Allaah and follow what is in it!’’ I asked him, ‘What is the way for protection from it?’ He replied: ‘‘The Sword!’’ Qataadah (rahimahullaah) said: ‘‘This refers to the group who became apostates Islaam after the passing of the Prophet (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam), during the rule of Aboo Bakr as-Siddeeq (radiyallaahu ’anhu).’’ [2] THE TAINTED GOOD Hudhayfah (radiyallaahu ’anhu) continued: ‘‘I asked, ‘Will there be any good remaining after that evil and fighting?’ He replied: ‘‘Yes, there will be a leadership and Jamaa’ah (group) accompanied with dirt (corruption). And there will be a treaty upon taint (hatred).’’ I asked, ‘What is that dirt?’ He replied: ‘‘Leaders following ways other than my Sunnah, and guided by other than my guidance. You will approve of some of their actions and disapprove of others. There will arise from amongst them men whose hearts are the hearts of devils in human bodies.’’ I asked, ‘What is the tainted treaty?’ He replied: ‘‘The hearts of many people will not go back to that (love) whereupon they had previously been.’’ THE SECOND EVIL Hudhayfah (radiyallaahu ’anhu) continued: ‘‘I asked, ‘Will there be any evil after that good?’ He replied: ‘‘Yes, there will be a blind and deaf fitnah (turbulence); callers to the gates of Hell. Whoever responds to their invitation, they cast him into it.’’ I said, ‘O Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam), describe them to us.’ He replied: ‘‘They are from our own skin and they speak our tongue.’’ THE FITNAH IN THE PRESENCE OF THE CALIPH Hudhayfah (radiyallaahu ’anhu) continued: ‘‘I asked, ‘O Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam), what do you command me with if that should happen during my lifetime?’’ He replied: ‘‘If you find at that time a Caliph for Allaah upon the earth, then adhere to the Jamaa’ah of the Muslims and their Imaam. Listen to the leader and obey him, even if he whipped your back and took away your wealth - listen and obey.’’ THE FITNAH IN THE ABSENCE OF THE CALIPH Hudhayfah (radiyallaahu ’anhu) continued: ‘‘I asked, ‘What if they (the Muslims) did not have a Jamaa’ah, nor an Imaam?’ He replied: ‘‘Desert all of those parties and run away over the earth. It would be better for you, O Hudhayfah, to die whilst you bite onto the branch of a tree, than to follow any of them.’’ Al-Haafidh Ibn Hajar reported at-Tabaree as saying: ‘‘This hadeeth indicated that when the people divide into parties in the absence of a leader, no particular group should be followed. If one can, he should desert all the parties for fear of falling into evil.’’ THE DAJJAAL Hudhayfah (radiyallaahu ’anhu) continued: ‘‘I asked, ‘What is next?’ He replied: ‘‘Then the Dajjaal (anti-Christ) will come out.’’ I asked, ‘What will he bring with him?’ ‘‘He will bring with him a river of water and a fire. Whoever enters his river will lose his rewards and earn his burden (of sins). And whoever enters his fire will earn his reward and drop his burden (of sins).’’ THE END Hudhayfah (radiyallaahu ’anhu) continued: ‘‘I asked, ‘O Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam), what comes after the Dajjaal?’ He replied: ‘‘’Eesaa, the son of Maryam.’’ I asked, ‘Then what will come?’ He replied: ‘‘Then if a mare delivers, its colt will not be mounted until the Hour arrives.’’
  13. one more thing, if a someone who is known for innovation came to me and said, listen salafi its part of islam to kind to your parents, there would two possibilities, either i know this already so i dont need the likes of him to tell me this, or i dont know it, if its the latter, i would not accept anything from him since he is known for misguidance,hi/sher words carry no weight in my sight, so i would return to those i trust and get the correct understanding of this matter, for the Salaf used to say, "the isnad is the weapon of the believers, "so state your men" and "this is your deen, becareful who u take it from!"
  14. Shaytain taugh Abu Hurayrah the ayaht as a means of Ransoming himself, not for Goodwill! ABu HurayRa(ra) did not take anything from Shaytain, Rather he went to someone he trusted and one who was known for the truth who was upon clarity the messenger of Allah(as), Abu Hurayra did not know it was shaytain,so he was cautious of who he took his deen from! "we take the good/truth from where ever is found",im not sure about this statement! this good/truth, can be found with those who are known to be on Baseerah (clarity)ie, the scholars, this good that these groups and parties possess, in reality is lost in their seas of innovation, for every mushrik,kafir/ahlul bi'dah, ahlul Haawa wa dhalalah, along with Shaytain with his shaayaateen, have some sort of good quality in them, but in essence they are all callers to the Gate of the hell fire! as seen below! THE SECOND EVIL Hudhayfah (radiyallaahu ’anhu) continued: ‘‘I asked, ‘Will there be any evil after that good?’ He replied: ‘‘ Yes, there will be a blind and deaf fitnah (turbulence); callers to the gates of Hell. Whoever responds to their invitation, they cast him into it.’’ I said, ‘O Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam), describe them to us.’ He replied: ‘‘They are from our own skin and they speak our tongue.’’ this hadith has been explain that these are the muslim who are Drenched in innovation, they call to the gate of he fire speaking the language of the Quran and sunnah! this is your deen, so becareful who you take it from!
  15. Don't hide behind Sahabah..they are not only yours when it supports your arguement.. this is old trick adero... I bet they did not teach you the history ...Shame on your salafi masters Shame on who, the Sahabas?
  16. "Can you say Somaliland rules by the Sharia Law like the Saudis Do? It is a yes or No answer. Have the government over there carried out any Xudud laws that I haven't heard of and I need to know?" What islamic laws do they enforce when violated if you know any? Bro when i said none of us are well versed in the shariyah to know who is ruling by it and who is not means; that what we think shariyah is, is perhaps not the shariyah in its true form! We the unlearned folks have limited knowledge in this field, if none at all! just because they dont cut the cutting the hands of a thief..ect/ does not mean they dont not rule by the shariyah. There could be a situation that we lay muslims are not aware of! So to say they do not rule by the shariyah its a blank statement, because the person who is utter such statements must have complete knowledge of the shariyahs with all its conditions and rulings, this is why i said Rahima and others should not be so quick to say they dont rule by the shariyah unless they a have complete understand of the shariyah ! there are ample reasons why somaliland may not not appear to rule with islamic law, one maybe the lack of scholars to carry out such task! I,myself dont know if Somaliland rules with Shariyah laws, for i do not know the essence of the shariyah law and what it entails! So i remain silent in this regard! this was my advice to kheyr, Rahima and everyone else!
  17. X, for your info I augment my opinions with kitab and sunnah,(you should try it sometimes) I do not bray like a senseless donkey(not directed at anyone, general statement) issuing out opinions that are not enhanced with kitab and sunnah! Oh btw, I want you show me where I said this is HALAL AND THIS IS HARAM. Just pull that out from my Posts please. I can't wait to see the Quotes. Saxib I think you missed the point! BTW there is only on path to Allah and thats the way of the salaf, the best generations! and those who revile the companions by saying they used and abused islam, such kaalam can not be tolerated! I love Sis Rahima for the sake of Allah, and i dont care where she is from, I do not identity with a country or a race/ for i am a muslim who follows the kitab and sunnah upon the understand of the salaf, the salafies are united upon a single creed! in this thread, i merely expressed my opinions as to why Somaliland should create their own country i took the pros and cons taking Muslim unity into consideration and booya here is the results . like I said before, its just an opinon. an opinion which can change at any time!
  18. Salafi, Somaliland doesn't rule by islamic Law. They may have made Islam nominally the religion of the people since the inhabitants are Muslims, but that doesn't mean they rule by it Saxib, you should be honest to yourself, You do not have a glimpse of what the shariyah entails, unless you’re a scholar of the Shari’a, which I highly doubt, For you would not have wasted your precious time on this board! Your rhetoric is analogous to a man who has never open the Book of Allah, yet hastily moves his tongue saying, “this is Haram and this is Halalâ€
  19. Then there are those of our sisters who wear a niqaab and try to cover their entire bodies. All in coherence with the hadith that says that the female body is awrah (not the voice)(Hadith - Bukhari 1:148 ex.) . These sisters are true mujahedeen, fighting everyday for their islamic right nothing more beautiful then a sister in Niqab!
  20. Rahima, It’s been a decade and the south has yet to rectify their impaired land, they are as they were ten years ago, I contently hear the south calling for unity under the flag of islam? the supreme military leaders exercising civil power in the south have yet to express their ability to use Islam to unify or benefit their own city-dwellers. The government Of Somaliland for the interest of its citizens took the initiative to rescue their people from the status co of the south. A government which guided its people from strife to one of amity can only be admired. Khayr&Rahima: As for Somaliland not ruling by the shariyah, well surely no one in this board has studied the Shariyah in its true form, so I wouldn’t be so quick to speak about that which we have no knowledge of! Lest you should say about Allah that which you know not! Posted by Og_Girl! Tell me how to unite the "Ummah" with this attitute... "If I have power I would ship you to Karbala"!!!!! . we unit the ummah upon the correct creed( that way of the companions) For sure, If you try to enforce your Salafi Share'a in my backyard, I will fight you to your death. And if many believe like you , war is a gurantee . And there are no guaranteed winners . I would never go to a shia’s backyard for fear that Allah, his messenger(saw) and all of mankind’s Curse may fall upon me! If you dont like the Kingdom you can always leave, Ali(ra) is buried in Karbala you know! So, tell me what is the solution Mr Saudi Kingdom The solution is, you should stop speak ill of the sahabas! P.S Do you know one of the greatest Shaykh of this ummah happends to be from Ogadan(now part of Ethiopia) He was an honourable man, May Allah send his blessing and mercy upon his soul! Ameen
  21. posted by OG_Girl The use and abuse of Islam is not a new phenomenon, since it started with some of the early Sahabah and who turned the Khalifah after few years into kingdoms and in Islam there is no such thing as Kingdoms.  : you have the nerve to speak about the Sahaba in a negative light and then seek unity upon islam!    i will let this one go for the sake of Allah cause maybe you just woke up! Salafi stop justifying the Saudi Kingdom to us in the name of Islam cause that no one would buy that from you (and wont sell), as Islam and Kingdoms are not compatibles. Thus all the Sheikhs you quoted to say the least their motivation is questionable! Og_girl justify the saudi kingdom to you? (lol) i couldnt give a rat's butt about a shia! or what they think, if it was up to me i would exile all shias fromm madinah and mecca! they dont belong there! ship them all to Karabala!
  22. Rahima Those So called Shaykh, you think are upon salafiyah, are labelled as Khawarij of the era, by the great imams or our time, some people use old fatwahs from the gulf war but refuse to acknolwedge the fatwah of the late '90 like bin baaz refutation of them in 1998 and albani and Uthaymin, this is why we defame them and insult them, they are evil scholars who have little interest for the well being of this ummah, i have already provided the evidence by the great Shyakh Albani who called the khawarij of our era, and this imam does not speak from his desires! if you so wish to call them Shaykhs then so be it! as for somaliland and the south and for any country for that matter, again i cant stress this enough, if the somaliland finds peace and prosperety away from the south, then so be it! Im sure you heard of the saying "the lesser of the two evil" its a shariyah principal! THE FITNAH IN THE ABSENCE OF THE CALIPH Hudhayfah (radiyallaahu ’anhu) continued: ‘‘I asked, ‘What if they (the Muslims) did not have a Jamaa’ah, nor an Imaam?’ He replied: ‘‘ Desert all of those parties and run away over the earth. It would be better for you, O Hudhayfah, to die whilst you bite onto the branch of a tree, than to follow any of them .’’ Al-Haafidh Ibn Hajar reported at-Tabaree as saying: ‘‘ This hadeeth indicated that when the people divide into parties in the absence of a leader, no particular group should be followed. If one can, he should desert all the parties for fear of falling into evil .’’ arent the south divided into parties(tribes)with not leader, each yearning for a piece of the pie? So the somaliland deserted them in fear that they would fall into evil, now it can be argued that somaliland is not doing so great! maybe so but they feel they are better off then being united! they choose the lesser evil! Again every muslim should strive for unity, but on proper grounds such that it does not lead to great evil! Again every muslim should strive for unity, but on proper grounds such that it does not lead to great evil! Remember folks this is not a fatwa, its an opinion of my which most likely carries no weight as far as people are concerned! but its my opinion and its open to modification!
  23. people should really debate without letting their emotions get the better of them, and i advice myself first
  24. Innalhamdallilah..... Kowneyn can you help me out please, can you grant me a cogent outline of the minhaj and 'Aqeeda of the Wahhabis from their own manuscripts. I cant stress this enough, a clear outline of their methodology and Creed from their books if you will, particularly from the works of The great Imam Muhammad ibn AbdulWahhab, so that I may be guided aright! Perhaps you can start a new thread if you wish, for it does not please me to highjack Nur’s thread! I thank you ahead, wa baarakallahu feek
