    BASRA!

If this round of violence escalates, it is not gonna be good for Mccain who staked his candicacy on a Iraq.

There is no room for a healthy discussion in Somaliland regarding secession. You are traitor if you oppose Somaliland independence. Besides, Don't people and regions that disagree with Somaliland independence have the right to violently oppose secession.
  4. ^Yup, Even more interesting would be if genetic genealogy of Somalis were done in order to trace back their ancestry.
  5. So people from Sool and Sanaag who oppose Somaliland seccession is Cadow?
  6. Originally posted by J.a.c.a.y.l.b.a.r.o: [QB] Again i conside jidbaale from the cadowga ] And who's your Cadowga?
  7. I wonder who would be related to who if genealogical studies were done on SOL members. I get the feeling there will be a lot of distance cousins since Somalis intermarry extensively. Maybe Lazy and Serenity could be related or Marc and Underdog. P.S. Duke would be related to nobody!, on the second thought, he might be related to JB.
  8. ^It was unfortunate time, of course one among many. It shows one thing though, the masses waa lagu oor kacsanaye. The same was/is true for all Somalis everywhere!
  9. LoooooooooooL@Jidbaale....Jb can't you parade Jidbaale one day than you use as source the next day.
  10. ^That was the case till USC decided to ethnically cleanse the city. Their lack of plan combined with their targeted Qabiil related killings changed people's mind.
  11. NGONE..Talk about case of Soomaalido wadaad malaha!...Welcome abroad

We don't remember anything else
  13. the reality there is no military solution to Somalia's problems, Tell me to the TFG and its Ethio masters.
  14. ^I believe it was three. My folks flew out of the city just before that. I remember creeping through Bar ayan LooooooooooL....This was near NSS right?. The house we were staying in was right on laami that goess to Siinaay. That road was literally the greenline as Aidid's folks lived in If iyo Aakhiro and Ali Mahde's were on Suuq Bacaad side.
  15. Horn-It was Aiydid who started the war after the failures in Gedo and Galkayo.
  16. The USC infighting begun late 91. There were three skirmishes or called mini wars the longest lasting about week before three month war. The infamous green line came about in 1991. P.S. I think Suldaanka fail to appreciate the H-clan were never united except for brief moment or same goes for D-clan unlike the SNM folks who had one purpose in mind. There were alot back-stabbings involved in the civil wars, and that continues to this day.
  17. ^Actually USC in-fighting before 94, I was still in Mogadisho it started. Of course, it was less intense then.
  18. What ever their motives are, the TFG has to engage with everyone that has a stake in Somalia.
  19. Perhaps it is your poor knowledge of anywhere south of Burco LooooooooooooooooL Suldaanka haduusan ku dhihin SNM baa xamar ka dagaa lamayse waaba kheyr
  20. Shouldn't you be welcoming any talks that might lead to peace?

  22. LooooooooL@makes you happy...It is not about me. I just don't care for people who present loopsided view of things or has skewed mentality while claiming to be guardian of true Somalinimo.Maybe we should leave history to the historians.
  23. The union was borne out of desire of all Somali people. Northern and Southern politicians simply acted on that desire. This is closest thing to the truth. And Saaxib, neither you or anyone else can claim to be the authority on true Soomaalinimo. The idea of northerners sacrifing while southerners were simply glory huggers is rubbish. It seems you like to throw that around everytime the Somali union is discussed. P.S. Would it made more sense for Egal to go Xamer since it was going to be the seat of the Somali goverment. Besides, can you inform us what actually transpired during his meeting with the southern politicians.
