  1. I was more disturbed how they talk to each other since the start od Gacan Libaax situation.
  2. Tnat made no sense. There are many successful Somalis around world from sports people to politicians. . That's like saying Pland should separate cuz there are successful "Planders" like Ahmed Hussen (who held several cabinet positions in Trudeau Government) and Judge Abdulqawo (current judge and former president of International Court of Justice). One can actually argue the likes of Mo Farah and Ahmed Hussen become successful cuz they are not in Somalia/Somaliland where one's merit is secondary. And Tallaabo is right. Somaliland is corrupt. Bihi came to the presidency as a poor man and he will leave a multimillionaire. Beyond the core people that surrounded different presidents and the business cartels, who else in Somaliland seen their lives improved?
  3. Somalis are not seen and will never be seen as Ethiopians even if they try to assimilate. Yes, Oromos and Afar would ideally be their natural allies, but even they see Somalis as outsiders. It doesn't help Somalis don't have a leadership that can stand on its own and negotiates without fear. What Somalis have are yes men appointed by Addis Abeba. I can't say definitively, but I think the Somali Region is the only major region where its leader is appointed by the Central government. The Somali MPs and ministers in the Federal Government are also a docile bunch.

  7. Let's hope he is true to his word. And no more turning back! The biggest challenge is having a credible election commission. Everything else is doable.
  8. They are playing mockingly with his words since he himself has been called Marxuumka. I don't know if it was Deni who called him that first. I remember Deni did called him Xoghaye. Hamza is not sending anything. I don't expect much from him.
  9. LOL. I would have hired actual geeljirad.
  10. They gonna throw her under the proverbial bus. Denials have started.
  11. She's all that. She's not a child either. She could have exercised some common sense and not humiliated herself.
  12. To be fair, she said she will be running 10 meters during an interview. She was true to her word
  13. There's a difference between waan isxilqaadnay vs madaxweynaha ayaa noo soo diray. One is more authoritative. In any case, who will Muse listen to?
