  1. You meaning booming? You don't want things to explode in Somalia.
  2. Not fan of AS, but after what woyanes did the other day, I welcome this http://www.hiiraan.com/news/2016/Jun/wararka_maanta9-96334.htm Close to 50 woyanes dead so far.
  3. Abdi Iley works at the behest of the Ethiopians. What Somaliland needs to re-evaluate its relationship with Ethiopia. It's lopsided relationship. The entrenched spy network also poses a huge risk. Holac, Somalis only pay attention when it's their close kin that is being massacred. Ethiopians and Liyu have been massacring ONLF clan and Somaliland/Pland have selling their cousins to the Ethiopians.
  4. Without diminishing the Somali on Somali violence, the people seem indifferent to what Ethiopians and their lackeys are doing to Somalis, all over the Somali Peninsula and the entire Horn. Mark my words, the Somaliland will at best send a "delegation" to Jigjiga or worst just say silent. What's worse Somaliland, Pland or even Xamar continue to hand over reer Somaligalbeed to Ethiopians. I understand there is animosity and distrust among Somalis, but to be indifferent or selectively blind to Ethiopia's scheme towards all Somalis is rather astonishing.
  5. Liyu Police and Ethiopian federal forces massacred 40 Somalis, this is not the first time this happened. It has been happening in many Somali jurisdictions from Mudug to Gedo. The Ethiopian Defenses Forces and Liyu have been mercilessly killing people in Somalia while Somali "governments" doing lapdances for Addis, not of them can say a word. The biggest massacres have been reserved for Somalis in Somali Galbeed. The hapless general public will only see things through tribal lenses.
  6. https://youtu.be/fLCMgcsvulQ Finally, someone understands how the Liyu operates, shames all Somali 'administrations' iyo Soomaali damiir la'aanteeda.
  7. I think he might be a citizen. You can't be deport US citizens.
  8. It is hard to work inside Mogadishu, Hargeisa, though still tribal, offers a better chance.
  9. The good professor accuses the Southerners (namely D and H blocks) dominating the two highest positions. What will he say when all political parties in the North are run by the same clan.
  10. If this is true, it's unfortunate. However, does Pland really need another port? The region's population is barely 3 million. Invest a big in Bosaso port and airport, and Garowe airport; that should suffice. What's badly needed are roads, electricity and water. Ports mean nothing if goods cannot be produced and transported. A village like Garacad can serve a fishing hub.
  11. Oromo are not our next of kin, thinking so is self delusion. There are a nation with their own ambitions. Some of those ambitions will inevitable contradict our interests. That said, xenophobia should not be tolerated!!
  12. This is how it goes in Somali politics regardless where you are: The man in question promises big, cuts deals with traditional leaders who encourages voters to back him, backed by sleazy business and once in power, he and his cronies rob the people blind. The gullible voters complain about him like they did others before him. They latch on to opposition group that goes through the same exercise. In the end, the only thing that changes (or not change) is those in power enrich themselves and build houses in far lands. The public is poor while the young die in the high seas or held captive by cruel Arabs in the Sahara Desert. How Cirro be any different from Siilaanyo, they are cut from the same cloth. An soler will be posting how Cirro is great leader once Cirro is in power and other solers will condemn him. Our good friend Salaax is in the running for this post hehe.
  13. There is always one conclusion to this discussion, everyone is guilty except my reer, an exercise in futility.
  14. Tallaabo, Somalis are not unique in this, besides, it's our society that produced these "leaders". That says more about us than they.
  15. One has the right to marry whoever and b!tch about any subsequent consequence. Leave the woman alone.
  16. Yes, reer LA came out in their thousands to celebrate every year. You remind me of General Duke, Juje and current Culusow supporter Somalistar, except you are very restrained in your bravado.
  17. This is silly. I am assuming each mayor represents a different habar?
  18. @Saalax said: Burning flags won't change anything. The political elite of Laas Caanood don't want the city to leave Somaliland's hands but its city's population is largely anti Somaliland. Yup, though the words elite is used rather loosely when it comes to Somalis. Tallaabo...Don't insult the Somali Navy. Perhaps, you prefer the real pirates that dump toxic waste and steal Somali fisheries. Xaaji...It is Earth Day.
  19. Thanks Yoniz. Galbeedi... Who are the Jaars?. I saw some people comparing the Jaarso to Garre.
  20. Gheelle.T, let's think of solutions and not continuing being self destructive , besides Oromos are not any better than us. It seems most of solers are not xenophobes. Now, considering qabyaalad is a form of xenophobia, perhaps we can work on that too:-)
  21. I like the ominous music. This is fear-mongering! There are several things here: 1. Somalis are not innovators hence no one can come with any ideas that will result in good jobs. We rather build ugly hotels and brag ngo funded projects. 2. If you are too proud to do menial jobs, let's not complain about those who are willing to do it. 3. There is NO real Somali Government in the Horn that has control of its borders and proper immigration policies. 4. There is no government that can formulate and implement social and economic policies that will trigger prosperity. 5, What we have a click of mafia businessmen, so called wadaado class, sleazy politicians and oday dhaqmadeed that are sucking life out of everything. The youth and our women have no say. 6. As long as the youth and women continue being docile, nothing will change in any Somali territory. 7. Relationships with foreign countries will be one sided. In any case, the flow of the Oromo will continue, it is also happening in Puntland and lesser extent in the South. The answer to this problem will be complicated, but it needs courageous leaders and a public willing to fight for its future. That said, the Horn of Africa is powderkeg waiting to explode, It is only a matter of time before Woyane are eliminated as political force. They have made the mistake of awakening the sense of ethnic identity.
  22. Coofle, you do realize we are talking about tribal societies? It is in the interest of Oromos to stay out of local politics.
