This made me laugh.

HSM created the problem when he dismantled the armed forces and went on a power-grab journey, not to mention corruption. The problem is Turkey will have an outsized influence on Somali politics, security, and economy. A man like HSM is not the type to moderate foreign powers. Any power is bound to abuse their client if the client has no checks and balances. HSM has no intent of solving internal issues as well which is what made us vulnerable in the first place.

Don't forget the new Uganda-Somalia MoU signed by the Defense Minister. HSM is looking for AU troops willing to replace ATMIS and supposedly will protect government centers. None of these have been shared with the Parliament or the public.
