Job done?

No politician in Somalia has been as luckly as HSM. In his first term, he had the goodwill of the Somali and IC willing to engage. In his second, the arms embargo has been lifted, the debt has been erased and Somalis were ready to move forward after Farmajo years.

Whoever pays your bills or trains your boys has a veto power over you. HSM has bankrupted the government and dismantled the armed forces. He is depending on foreign help. More than that, in the words of Muse Yalaxow, HSM kabo ka waaweyn uu gashtay. He overreached!

Reality kicking in

Looks HSM is scaling down on his parts, most importantly PM position

The opposition to the new constitution is picking up momentum.

He paid a lot of them already but that still doesn't guarantee their vote. It's safe to say he has 100 MPs in his pocket that will definitely vote in his favor.

He doesn't have the votes. That includes some of his clan. He doesn't have the majority of the votes from SW,, the largest block in the Parliament. He doesn't have most from .5 as he pissed off Jereerweyne with his attack on Gen. Shegow. He migh get a good number from D Block. And in the end, everyone can change their mind despite the bribes. They did that to him during his election loss to Farmaajo. MMA is right. The only way he can pass this is to ignore all Parliament procedures. In any case, he will be forced to sit down with every growing opposition eventually.

Wednesday is it. HSM does not have the votes, but with Madobe's assistance, he will force the vote by show of hands.

HSM is living in a fantasy. He really thinks he can turn Somalia into Djibouti.
