Her relatives accused NISA of detaining her. After a long silence, NISA stated that Ikran was abducted by Al-Shabab and executed her. PM Roble tasked Fahad Yasin to produce a report within 48 hours. Fahad called for a National Security meeting involving regional leaders, Farmajo, and the parliament security committee. Roble fired Yasin and replaced him with someone from the same laf (4.5 formula). He referred the case to the authority general.

The lack of real blame and Resolution in Somalia
Che -Guevara replied to AbdillahiSamatar's topic in Politics
I am sure Barre treated MJs better through collective punishment in the form of mass rape, denial of water resources, mass killings, blockades, destruction of properties, and livestock. It was really an expression of love by Barre. What nonsense you are trying to sell us. I know some victims of these atrocities personally. -

Shabaab could capture mogadishu as the Taliban did.
Che -Guevara replied to Khadafi's topic in Politics
Khadafi, AS might take over Mogadishu because it has a support base there, but let's remember AS by itself couldn't defeat Ahlu Sunna. And tribal nature of Somalis will work against it. I don't see Pland or another major clan joining AS or cutting a deal with them. And unlike the Taliban, AS is not politically sophisticated. Taliban wants to build a state, and it is not beholden to anyone, AS has fantasies of global Islamic Government. and takes orders from some Arab hiding in a cave. But I do agree with you, this corrupt government with no sense of purpose and direction cannot withstand a disciplined ragtag militia, they could not even withstand tribal militias. They have no revenue base, no regular army apart from special forces, and no real leadership.
