If England will possibly be the only country left of what's of UK, can their presence in the Security Council be justified? Granted they have nuclear weapons, but their influence and economic mighty will be diminished. The economically mighty Germany which is now re-arming can make better case of being a permanent member of the Security Council. The English speaking America won't allow such moves but the reality is UK is no more influential than Germany.
