These kids fighting for the TFG do it at their own will whereas the Alshabaab kids are at the very least persuaded or at the worst case Abducted. But you do have some Kids who join Alshabaab through choice.

Theyre all very young, so we could bench on hopes on any regional African tournament probably 8 years from now. Lets hope the country is in order by then.

Somalia anthem -
The things he said is so true and a very strong message but yet only if he acted on it in his last 10 years in power. You know who im talking about. This quote is part of the speach he made when he became leader. Somalia has the longest coastline in Africa, forget roads, you would have to close the indian ocean Yes you can enter by Aircraft and other ways, but read carefully what hes saying, its not literal. I would like to ask all Somalis to come out and build their nation, a strong nation, to use all their efforts, energy, wealth and brains in developing their country. perhaps capitalism can save Somalia though, now I think of where you are going with this Well Somalia was working in a state of Anarcho capitalism for the past 20 years. But capitalism if we ever get a united state is where its heading.

We will abolish bribery, nepotism and tribalism. Tribalism was the only way in which foreigners got their chance of dividing our people. We will close all roads used by colonialists to enter our country and into our affairs. We will build up a great Somali nation, strongly united and welded together to live in peace. We will make respect the Islamic religion, if necessary, by all the force and strength we have. We will make Somalia a respected country in its internal and external policies. I would like to ask all Somalis to come out and build their nation, a strong nation, to use all their efforts, energy, wealth and brains in developing their country. At all costs avoid begging. The Imperialists, who always want to see people in hunger, disease and ignorance, will oppose us in order that we may beg them. They will spread many types of lies to try to misinterpret our noble aims and objectives.

And then what?? 350,00 dead 1-2 years later directly because of the state collapes them and their allies bought. These tyrant you support unjustly started a mass killing campaign against the Somali security force in the early 80s while Somalia was still struggling with Ethiopia. A tyrannical action (mind you which they precipitated) turned them into heroes, yes, but they were evil doers in the first place. Islamka bii sheygaanayaan like Aideed did. Disgusting times.

Give Laaska folks credit. They only enjoyed comprehensive peace in their city for the last few years but still they are coming out, albet small numbers now, to show their support and express their political views peacefully and orderly. Few numbers? ill interpret as what? 100 peoples a day/month/year? The region has a population of 250,000, theyve been silent on the occupation because like you said they are experiencing peace and also because Mogadishu is in Flames. But once the Republic (god knows when) is restored the occupation power will be made to flee. The concept of a Somaliland whose populace collectively support does not exist. This is why your borders are bullcrap and your nation is fake. The Somaliland project will always face ressistance, the borders will never be completed so long as people dont want to be part of it. -

I am your worst nightmare. -
There are enough sinister characters of non-Somali origins pidgeonholing the Somali community and putting them into neat little boxes through generalisation and mis-information, why should we add to this instead of correcting it? Good point, i fully agree.

** More than 1,000 Mexican-American businesses operated in Minnesota, generating an estimated $200 million in sales; while Latino workers employed in south-central agricultural industries added nearly $25 million to the local economy, according to a 2004 report by the Minneapolis Foundation. ** More than 16,000 Asian-Indians living in Minnesota accounted for $500 million in consumer purchasing power, paid $5.2 million in real estate taxes and $2.3 million in rent, and owned 400 companies that employed more than 6,000 people, according to the same report. ** Minnesota was home to 60,000 Hmong, whose businesses generated an estimated $100 million in revenue, according to the same report. ** Minnesota is home to the country’s largest Somali population, which numbered roughly 15,000 people as of 2002. Somalis in Minnesota accounted for $164 million in buying power and owned 600 businesses as of 2006. link Columbus It has been reported by The Star newspaper, that, “the Somali people have the highest buying power among all African immigrants of Greater Columbus—more than $200 million annually—compared to the purchasing power of all other Africans combined. The Star, also details that over 7,000 Somali students are in accredited institutions of higher learning—the majority of Somali students are pursuing academic programs in the nation’s top five majors—accounting, business, engineering, finance, and medicine. Impossible..  i Kid. there is something wron with how your taking this thread, your being too sensitive to the criticism layed out by the poster, and not looking at what the thread is about as a whole which is not about sayin Somali youth are all ruined. Apparently you havent read this part. An hour and half later as people walked out of the graduation ceremony that was 90% Somali (a charter school) I never thought I would see the day that a Western graduation stage would be filled with Somali girls and boys and the highest GPA is held by a niqabi girl." Anyways how did you figure out the Mad emoticons was aimed at you? my paragraph doesnt connect with it at all.

The negotiation and putting the leverage in place comes after being recognized and have access to funding, economy and the international sources. First things first, that is why interest is so important in making up yourself then move from there. China made itself important yet continue to stand an economic and military threat to the west. Yet, it is a strategic country to be count on. I dont think the poor guy can get it what he actually wants to say across here. Cmon Somaliland spit it out here. and it a great shift of power, change of borders and one more country to be added to IGAD South Sudan is insignificant, powers like Egypt will not be affected, anyways whats with the assumption in diplomatic relations. New borders, new countries emerging and the will be a new balance in the power. Which new countrieS i only see one country. -
