I've seen and encountered this great and intruguing poem by the astute father of Somali poems, Hadraawi. When ever I come across this piece, it actually touches my heart. Nice topic for those of us whom are out of confidence :eek: . I think it is not a good idea to piss off a sister. Before you do any of these serious scenarios , just consider how it might hurt the feelings of the sister, and take it into account that the sister, which you're trying piss off, is just like your very own sister. It's obvious that NO ONE would support anything that would go against his sister if you fathom what I mean here. So please let us always be confidence to ourselves which would make everything easier for us.

I agree with bro Mujahid. This is merely factitious. There is nothing true about it, and I don't ever believe any anything about it. As brother Mujahid elucidate it, we're Muslims and we're not supposed to believe such things that are out of merit.

When it comes to authors and their field, I am not into any of those Western writers. I rather give my support to those whom we have something in common (Somali Authors) since they need to get the courage of their community when they're extending some novels in the Somali language which would induce us not to leave or easily forget Our Mother Tangue. And of course it would enhance & enliven the knowledge about Somali, and even the etiquette of our next generation. I am glad they didn't add any African country. Every one can probably fathom the reason. It's because the so-called developed countries of western world have already named Africa as "Third country' And thsi is the gist behind why they didn't mention a country of Africa. They just believe in what their myopic mentality creat for them, and they do follow footsteps of their predecessors. So, this poll pertaning to the western women is most needed as it's a proof and evidence of their UGLiness. Hey this is cool, but what advantage does it give us to bother ourselves into an issue of those Western Philosophies. It's better to view the historical events of what had happened in our precious land instead. By the way, don't get me wrong I'm just getting tired of the issues of Western lands.

parents have their own distinct ways to warn their children when they have done something so stupid that isn't actually good for their kids. So let me tell you something about this issue. "war Sactimoole yahaw aniga juuq ha ii celin AHBAl baad tahaye!!! :confused: (this is when Mam is seriously got mad) If we did something wrong, He(the Father) often used to please us rather than using vulgar language in front of us... "Aabbe, i dhageysta, waxaan idiin sheegayaa, in aan idin canaanto ma wanaagsana, marka waxaa loo baahan yahay inaad caqligiina idinka oo kaashanaya aad iska daysaan xumahan iyo baadilnimadan aad ku jirtaan....." :cool: Legend of Z... Looooooool "Yataa Baati kuqushaaaha" hahahhaah I guess that is an Amharic language man! which is spoken from Ethiopia, the land of illiterate people .. but I totally forgot the real meaning of that quotation. Waxaanse u malaynayaa inay u dhiganto..sidan... "Doqon yahaw wax ma garadka iyo qashinka ahi" walaahi I'm not that sure sxb. I can't convey it's real meaning and what it stands for since I'd been there for only a half-year, but the quotation is Amharic for sure :eek:

Hello, Sweet-Gal or may I say Ottawa-Gal. After all, you said that you only have some black friends.....I wonder were the Somali people living in Ontario had gone. Or is it just becuase I've formed the wrong opinion about the real Somali quantities in Ottawa, I just thought there are a larg number of Somalis in Ottawa just like Toronto and the other Canadaian cities. By the way, I hope there are a lot of religious Nomads here on the forum which could hepl you out there.
