The Ideal of Somaliland must be eliminated for the sake of broad shared peace and security. The nature of Somaliland's ambition generates conflict and abates the desperate efforts to ascertain common solution for our common problems. The Ideal of somaliland is obstacle to peace and prosperity.Unity will over power any Ideal that promotes division and hatred. Somalilanders should recognize their vicious ambition to remain renegade state would not serve their best interest.Somalilander should not force the rest of Somalia to repeat the dark chapter that we have in our history. The world has witnessed how the former government used military force in order to crush the seperatists that fought in that part of the country, at that time Burca become "sea of fire" while Hargaysa became "Smoke and Ashes". If the current trend continues serious implications will follow!color>

Michael H. Hart, a Christian American, astronomer, mathematician, lawyer, chessmaster and scientist, after extensive research, published an incisive biography of the 100 most influential people of all time. The biographical rankings with explanations describes the careers of religious and political leaders, inventors, writers, philosophers, scientists and artists. From this research, which included illustrious personalities such as Jesus Christ, Moses, Caesar, the Wright brothers, Napoleon, Shakespeare, Columbus and Michaelangelo; Michael Hart rated Muhammad (PBUH) as number one. He concluded the biography with the words "It is this unparalleled combination of secular and religious influence which I feel entitles Muhammad to be considered the most influential single figure in human history." "My choice of Muhammad to lead the list of the world's most influential persons may surprise some readers and may be questioned by others, but he was the only man in history who was supremely successful on both the religious and secular levels. Of humble origins, Muhammad founded and promulgated one of the world's great religions, and became an immensely effective political leader. Today, thirteen centuries after his death, his influence is still powerful and pervasive. The majority of the persons in this book had the advantage of being born and raised in centers of civilization, highly cultured or politically pivotal nations. Muhammad, however, was born in the year 570, in the city of Mecca, in southern Arabia, at that time a backward area of the world, far from the centers of trade, art, and learning. Orphaned at age six, he was reared in modest surroundings. Islamic tradition tells us that he was illiterate. His economic position improved when, at age twenty-five, he married a wealthy widow. Nevertheless, as he approached forty, there was little outward indication that he was a remarkable person. Most Arabs at that time were pagans, who believed in many gods. There were, however, in Mecca, a small number of Jews and Christians; it was from them no doubt that Muhammad first learned of a single, omnipotent God who ruled the entire universe. When he was forty years old, Muhammad became convinced that this one true God (Allah) was speaking to him, and had chosen him to spread the true faith."color> The non-Muslim verdict on Muhammad (PBUH) color> "If a man like Muhammad were to assume the dictatorship of the modern world, he would succeed in solving its problems that would bring it the much needed peace and happiness." George Bernard Shaw "People like Pasteur and Salk are leaders in the first sense. People like Gandhi and Confucius, on one hand, and Alexander, Caesar and Hitler on the other, are leaders in the second and perhaps the third sense. Jesus and Buddha belong in the third category alone. Perhaps the greatest leader of all times was Mohammed, who combined all three functions. To a lesser degree, Moses did the same." Professor Jules Masserman "Head of the State as well as the Church, he was Caesar and Pope in one; but, he was Pope without the Pope's pretensions, and Caesar without the legions of Caesar, without a standing army, without a bodyguard, without a police force, without a fixed revenue. If ever a man had the right to say that he ruled by a rightdivine, it was Muhammad, for he had all the powers without their supports. He cared not for the dressings of power. The simplicity of his private life was in keeping with his public life." Rev. R. Bosworth-Smith "Muhammad was the soul of kindness, and his influence was felt and never forgotten by those around him." Diwan Chand Sharma, The Prophets of the East, Calcutta 1935, p.122. "Four years after the death of Justinian, A.D. 569, was born at Mecca, in Arabia the man who, of all men exercised the greatest influence upon the human race... Mohammed... " ]ohn William Draper, M.D., L.L.D., A History of the Intellectual Development of Europe, London 1875, Vol. 1, pp.329-330. "In little more than a year he was actually the spiritual, nominal and temporal ruler of Medina, with his hands on the lever that was to shake the world." John Austin, "Muhammad the Prophet of Allah," in T.P.'s and Cassel's Weekly for 24th September 1927. "Philosopher, Orator, Apostle, Legislator, Warrior, Conqueror of ideas, Restorer of rational beliefs, of a cult without images; the founder of twenty-terrestial empires and of one spiritual empire, that is Muhammad. As regards all standards by which human greatness may be measured, we may well ask, is there any man greater than he?" Lamartine, Histotie de la Turquie, Paris 1854, Vol. 11 pp.276-2727. "It is impossible for anyone who studies the life and character of the great prophet of Arabia, who knows how he taught and how he lived, to feel anything but reverence! for that mighty Prophet, one of the great messengers of the Supreme. And although in what I put to you I shall say many things which may be familiar to many, yet I myself feel whenever I re-read them, a new way of admiration, a new of reverence for that mighty Arabian teacher." Annie Besant, The Life and Teachings of Muhammad, Madras 1932, p.4 "Muhammad is the most successful of all Prophets and religious personalities." Encyclopaedia Britannica "I have studied him - the wonderful man - and in my opinion far from being an anti-Christ he must be called the saviour of humanity." George Bernard Shaw in "The Genuine Islam " "By a fortune absolutely unique in history, Mohammed is a threefold founder of a nation, of an empire, and of a religion." Rev. R. Bosworth-Smith in "Mohammed and Mohammedanism 1946." color>

TrulyBlessed. Initially I want to admit it is true that the nature of humans is a complex system, however, religion is what provides a back bone. and I think it is highly imperative that we balance our strugle in this world and in the here after, life is like a game, you ascend from one stage to another and finally game is over, and death is when life is over. and it is crucial that we attach our self to our faith, because after all our faith remains to be the only access we have to our destiny. and may allah accept our prayer and lead us to the right path. amiin

Somali militiamen who abducted a United Nations official for 10 days apparently wanted him to be their commander. color> Rolf Helmrich, a former lieutenant-colonel in the German Air Force, said the gunmen were impressed with his military knowledge while in captivity. About a dozen armed militia abducted Mr Helmrich last month at a roadblock near the southern town of Jilib. Somalia has been dangerous territory for UN and other aid workers throughout its 12 years of civil war. Sleeping with grenades "It was funny in a way - the hostage takers wanted me to be their commander," Mr Helmrich told reporters at the UN headquarters in Nairobi, where he was flown after his release He identified one of their assault rifles as an East German-made AK-47 and could distinguish different types of rocket-propelled grenades in their arsenal. Mr Helmrich said the militia in turn showed him that grenades have multiple uses. "I was sleeping on a mat and the corners kept blowing up in the wind, so they gave me grenades to weigh it down," Mr Helmrich, a UN security officer, said. The UN official spent his entire captivity in the open air, walking some 50km by his own estimate. "I never saw a house, I never saw a bed, I never saw a toilet in the 10 days," he said. Last weekend he was released into the hands of four members of the Juba Valley Alliance, a military grouping that controls south-western Somalia. UN humanitarian co-ordinator Maxwell Gaylard said the body has withdrawn staff from south-western Somalia and is reassessing UN operating policies in light of the abduction

Fraud and Irregularities in the Somali peace talks
Man Of Freedom replied to miles-militis's topic in Politics
Horofafrique I must agree with you that samuwarior is deeply rooted with the mentallity of C/lahi Yusuf, without considering any other alternative,C/lahi Yusuf is just another war lord, who has history of aggression, corruption, deception, selfishness and committing crime against humanity, the end of his rule in that part of the country should give a crucial rise to Free Somalia. For the Vast majority of every somali citizen who wish to live free, his departure from our political system will further give assurance for peace. C/lahi Yusuf is a selfish man who is addicted for racing for a power, and dominating the lives of so many somali citizens. The End of c/lahi Yusuf's political agenda will close the dark chapter we have in our history, and a dark and painful era will be over, A hopeful days will arive, and all somalis' will come together and reject violence and build new Somalia, because every somali citizen has goal of sovereignty for our country, dignity for our culture, and for every somali citizen, the opportunity for a better life. -
the joke is hillarious, but so many people might not get it at the first time, coz when the baby say "mother" and the father say he said half word, that implies that the father wanted the kid to also say "father" instead of "mother" alone...!
-
carame.. why do you have to travel all way to that nasty direction, when you can take short cut and think positively,it is sad that you are another victim of this joke, but you are not the only one, the number of victims of this joke is on the rise..but I wonder one's they resort to think nasty who will treat they minds.

Diamond..give up and apologize will you, frankly apologize is highly desirable, yet the doors of apologize are never shut! and it will surely smooth your ties with others.and by the way why "qarxis" in here, I thought we supposed keep everything confidential instead of revealing one's classified info..

Sista in Islam, The way you perceived this issue, indicates that you are quite optimistic about any response that somali brother would obtain from a somali women, if he is truely honest with his feelings toward her;however considering the disturbing behavior that our women expose to their gentlemans during seduction, and knowing the designs and the deceptions of their personality, somali men have every reason to assume the worst of them, the means they use and the victims they choose some women are commited of deceiving and taking advantage from every volunerable heart.
-
First of all there is no any objection that humans are not naturally infallible, we can always be fallible in various circumstance, However, we can rationalize our way of thinking, or making assumptions, and we do that easily by considering the alternatives that have the best reasons, in order to bring about the best solution for every aspect of our nature
-
By examining the responses of most Somali females who voluntarily stated their view points about if love matters only.It seems like it remains to be impossible to please somali women no matter what kind of possitive attributes or qualities men posses, this futher aggravates the varying standards and principles that is used by women in order to determine their personal interest.
-
Lakkad and Geel-jire It is not the jokes that are getting nastier day by day, but it is your minds and your imaginations that is getting nastier day by day, and these kind of jokes solely proves how nasty human imaginations can get. and I think it is imperative that we ought to think of changing the way we make our assumptions and our imaginations before it leads us to embarassing consequences

I have one You have one Your mother uses your father's one And your auntie uses your uncle's one A married lady would acquire one But a divorced lady would lose her one Arnold Schwarzenneger has a longer one Michael J. Fox has a shorter one Madonna doesn't have one The Chinese usually have short ones While the Indian usually have long ones Do you have one? How long is your one? Which one is your preferred one? what you are thinking of! Answer : its your Surname, what else !! but I like the way you think .........!color>

well then Somalia would have been a peaceful country. There would not have been a civil war in Somalia because as you said Somali men are "highly intelligent and peaceful," War and social conflict is always inedevitable, and at the same time it has nothing to do with gender difference i just refuse to except that there is actually a somali man that has all these qualities. you must admit that you are stubborn with your views about somali men, but I think it is wise enough to came up with premises that has considerable or legitimate reasons for defying the above mentioned qualities.moreover, you should not resort to terminate this argument as a result of the absence of legitimate reasons.
-
Sister In Islam! I am not surprised with your consistent denial of these universal qualities that is widely shared by all Somali men.You could be among those radical feminist women who deliberately and consistenly deny all the positive attributes of Men.Therefore, if you are surrounded by men who lacks those qualities as a result of various factors, then that does not mean those you are incontuct with represent all somali men. Maybe it is time for you to fish around some other spot, then you might have great chances of cutching a good fish..

How far would you go to convice someone your love ....
Man Of Freedom replied to finestsista2005's topic in General
How far would you go to convince someone your love? Well for men they don't even have to take one step, because we are in an era where female species out number men. Therefore, in this modern time Men are like diamond you miss one you get none, women are like buses you miss one you get another one in less then 15 minutes. -
Many years ago, during the time of the Tabi`een (the generations of Muslims who came after the Prophetic Companions), Baghdad was a great city of Islam. In fact, it was the capital of the Islamic Empire and, because of the great number of scholars who lived there, it was the center of Islamic knowledge. One day, the ruler of Rome at that time sent an envoy to Baghdad with three challenges for the Muslims. When the messenger reached the city, he informed the Caliph that he had three questions, which he challenged Muslims to answer. The Caliph gathered together all the scholars of the city and the Roman messenger climbed upon a high platform and said, "I have come with three questions. If you answer them, then I will leave with you a great amount of wealth, which I have brought from the king of Rome. "As for the questions, they were: "What was there before Allah?" "In which direction does Allah face?" "What is Allah engaged in at this moment?" The great assembly of people was silent. (Can you think of answers to these questions?) In the midst of these brilliant scholars and students of Islam was a man looking on with his young son. "O my dear father! I will answer him and silence him!" said the youth. So the boy sought the permission of the Caliph to give the answers and he was given the permission to do so. The Roman addressed the young Muslim and repeated his first question, "What was there before Allah?" The boy asked, "Do you know how to count?" "Yes," said the man. "Then count down from ten!" So the Roman counted down, "ten, nine, eight,..." until he reached "one" and he stopped counting. "But what comes before 'one'?" asked the boy. "There is nothing before one- that is it!" said the man. "Well then, if there obviously is nothing before the arithmetic 'one', then how do you expect that there should be anything before the 'One' who is Absolute Truth, All-Eternal, Everlasting- the First, the Last, the Manifest, the Hidden?" Now the man was surprised by this direct answer which he could not dispute. So he asked, "Then tell me, in which direction is Allah facing?" "Bring a candle and light it," said the boy, "and tell me in which direction the flame is facing." "But the flame is just light- it spreads in each of the four directions, North, South, East and West. It does not face any one direction only," said the man in wonderment. The boy cried, "Then if this physical light spreads in all four directions such that you cannot tell me which way it faces, then what do you expect of the Noor-us-Samawati-wal-Ard: Allah- the Light of the Heavens and the Earth!? Light upon Light, Allah faces all directions at all times." The Roman was astonished and astounded that here was a young child answering his challenges in such a way that he could not argue against the proofs. So, he desperately wanted to try his final question. But before doing so, the boy said, "Wait! You are the one who is asking the questions and I am the one who is giving the answer to these challenges. It is only fair that you should come down to where I am standing and that I should go up where you are right now, in order that the answers may be heard as clearly as the questions." This seemed reasonable to the Roman, so he came down from where he was standing and the boy ascended the platform. Then the man repeated his final challenge, "Tell me, what is Allah doing at this moment?" The boy proudly answered, "At this moment, when Allah found upon this high platform a liar and mocker of Islam, He caused him to descend and brought him low. And as for the one who believed in the Oneness of Allah, He raised him up and established the Truth. Allah Almighty says: “Every day He exercises (universal) power” (Ar-Rahman : 29) The Roman had nothing to say except to leave and return back to his country, defeated. Meanwhile, this young boy grew up to become one of the most famous scholars of Islam. Allah, the Exalted, blessed him with special wisdom and deep insight in religion. His Name was Abu Hanifah (rahmatullah 'alayhi- Allah have mercy on him) and he is known today as Al-Ima Al-A'zam, the Great Imam and scholar of Islam. May Allah shower some of His Mercy in the same way upon our Muslim children who are growing up today, Amin. color>

Libax, It is sad that you choose to be blindfold from the qualities that Somali Men posses, yet the best proof is your father, Do you actually think your father lack's the quality that is widely shared by all somali Men, well if you have never seen that quality from your own father, uncle, or even a brother, then you must have identity crisis.
