Many of you seem to have been thoroughly dominated by your unrealistic dreams and thoughts about an independent somaliland. The possibility of independent somaliland is highly unlikely considering the political, social, and the geographical reality that exists today. Somaliland is just another renegade state. It incense me to see Somali fellows who advocate divsion and detest any unity and as long as you have this type of mentality you will never make changes in your lives.

Raami: I always had high level of confidence with my fellow American citizens. We have allowed democracy to shine in every state, every citizen made the right choice. We are extremely elated with the poll results, we are increasing looking forward to embrace a new era with our chosen president. The quality of Bush's leadership is immeasurable, unchallengeable, and undeniable. And that is why we chose him again!

Lander "Puntland is absolutely starting a WAR with Somaliland" As long as you sympathise with your somalilanders you will never be different from those who you feel sorry for.and before you feel sorry for others, feel sorry for your self, coz you seem to have the same mental set as our warlords.

This is really so hillarious, somali's are now understanding how to use the media as a source of influence and a way to wage propaganda war, this will definitely undermine the reputation and the integerity of somaliland's standing army. Yet, it is the begnning of another war "the propaganda war". The questions were not harsh, they were fair and the captive responded in a confident way. C/lahi Yusuf knows if he mistreats these captives who are over 40 in numbers he will impair the trust and the loyalty that he worked so enormously to generate. I have no doubt he will free them in the next comming few days to show somaliland that he has no hostile feelings towards the people of Somaliland. This is a golden opportunity for him to dispel the notion that he is anti somaliland if he releases them as immediate as possible, their release will also assure the people of somaliland that C/lahi Yusuf is not the way they thought he is after all. altough, we know he is suicidal maniac who is addicted of killing people in the pursuit of power.

How do you motivate yourself (Mr/Mrs Student)?
Man Of Freedom replied to Dhagax-Tuur's topic in Developement | Projects
There are only to things in life that are source of motivation, and inspiration and they are the Koran and the Hadith. Read it, learn it, and follow it, you will then discover the right path of your life in this world and in the hereafter! <strong -
I am a third year student of Public communication and mass media. That said, I am deeply impressed and delighted to see so many of somali fellows with high ambitions. For the past few years, I have been working with somali communities, however, we have realized that there is a shocking pervasive social phenomenon that exists in our society in almost all western countries. Somali communities are the most isolated communities in these multicultural societies. Although, we have equal access to education, work, and other opportunities in the mainstream soceity; we are at the sametime the least beneficiaries. It does not take great imagination to decipher the reason, which is lack of strong social bond. The pursuit of self-interest and tribelism tendencies have polarized our communities and as a result our people are disfranchised. For those of you pursuing knowledge you are on the right track don't give up and don't give in, the choices and the decisions you make today will ultimately shape your life in the future! keep up the hardwork.

Ngonge.. As long as it takes for me to educate these misguided people about the world reality, I will vigorously continue my efforts to enlighten them. I have no desire to compel anyone to accept my views. Sometimes people are kept in the dark from the world reality and their lives are preoccupied by illusions in the pursuit of happiness. Most of these responders are victims of the mass media, the media floods us with a pelthora of information, but it does not ensure if we have the capacity to handle it. So, it is our responsibility to understand it and make sense of it and distinguigh what is reliable and what is false. I have a congenial vibe that these people might someday somehow be awaken to the grim reality that exists in our world.

To: Sakin and Abas It would be naive and a grave mistake to ignore Iran as it massively arms itself with the most deadliest weopons in our age. Iran is a total dictatorship, it has the worst human rights record, it has a history of aggression and violence, knowing this reality and ignoring it would be no different then being blinded from your enemies. Iran has numerously and consistenly defied the demands of the IAEA to halt its nuclear program. Having them to get away with such a perilious behaviour will certainly undermine the core principles of the U.N. The founding members resolved that the peace of the world must never again be destroyed by the will and wickedness of any man. We created the United Nations Security Council, so that, unlike the League of Nations, our deliberations would be more than talk, our resolutions would be more than wishes. After generations of deceitful dictators and broken treaties and squandered lives, we dedicated ourselves to standards of human dignity shared by all, and to a system of security defended by all. Today, these standards, and this security, are challenged. We can no longer trust a nations such as Iran to the lives of billions of people around the world. Many other moslem nations have raised their concerns over Iran's perilious ambition. For example, Saudi Arabia has speculated whether to pursue such weapons if Iran advances its program.Yet, allowing Iran to develop such deadly weapons would set arms race in the Moslem world.

Sakina.. America is an extraordinary wealthy powerful nation. It has the most sophisticated modern military technology. Iran on the other hand has outdated version of military hardware. When we liberated the Iraqi people we used less forces and less offensive because we had our allies on our side and it was morally right for them to have a piece of the pie. Nevertheless, we are now displaying a remarkable degree of patience with the grave suspicions that arises from Iran's nuclear facilities. We are morally obliged to exhaust every option before we rush to war. But time will tell!
-
To: Will Iran will defend themselves from the so called "Milatry Power House" in the world. I agree with you that in the initial of War Iran can defend itself, but the question is how long and to what degree? Iran has recently been flexing its missile muscles demonstrating to the world of its military might. The most destructive missiles in it's arsenal are a copied version of the Scud missiles. This kind of missile in this age is obselete. If Iran dares to embark on policies that invites enmity from the Sole Supreme super power then it has digged its own grave. The U.S government is capable of invading and occupaying Iran with the speed of light without using massive army. We have special forces that are well trained well equiped designed to capture and kill the modern adversaries. So far Iran's survival is a matter of decision and will, but let there be no doubt that the U.S will seriously deal with Iran after the election.
-
Since the day we have liberated the Iraqi people, the world has witnessed the horrific and the barbaric acts on the iraqi insurgencies, they have become the enemies of peace, they have refused to allow peace and order to take place. Now, every person with a rational mind has the right to question this acts and if it constitutes a legitimate resistance.

To: Femme Your belligerent attitude gives me the impression that you are morally corrupt, by impulsively judging others according to your standards. This kind of mentality is the type of mentality that propels people to think and act in evil ways by nature. In contrast, of your assertion you have been thoroughly brain-washed by your enthnocentric insticts, hence you have pre-empted the possibility to understand and make a sense of this issue.

TO: Sayfullah and Mohamed. Both of you are misguided by your one-sided view. Historically, Iran has always had a desire to emerge as powerful political force in the Middle East in order to determine the course of the Middle East. Iran asserts that it is developing civilian nuclear programe as an alternative of energy when infact it seeks to black-mail the world. Iran pursues its Nuclear program under the pretext of seeking alternative energy and it is using it as a natural cover to deceive the world. That said, the IAEA has put sharp demands before the Iranian official to completely halt their nuclear program. However, Iran opted to defy the international laws by deliberately ignoring the nuclear Proliferation treaty. Iran's nuclear capability might be a source of pride in Tehran but the rest of the world is alarmed and shocked by the unfolding events in Iran. America "the safeguard of peace" is under international obligation to re-enforce the international laws,so far the U.S has been increasingly patient with Iran's failure to abide by the International laws. Nevertheless, there is no doubt in mind that the U.S is in the process of devising punitive measure against Iran after the Election. Nuclear Iran is the greatest threat to our generation because the leaders of the Iranian regime are irresponsible, power-abusers and masters of political deception.
-
baahane! The last thing the world wants to see is Nuclear Iran. If Iran fails to abide by the international laws and if it continues its course of action. The world, will witness again the collapse of another evil regime. Both presidential cadidates are steadfast in their commitment to use every diplomatic channel to induce Iran to give up it's ambitions. If the world sits pasively, and watches while Iran boldens its sharp teeths, Saud's might resort to seek to acquire similar capabilities in order to avert any bite.

The right men for the job Abdulah Yusef president
Man Of Freedom replied to milk's topic in Politics
TO: Milk Analyzing and examining the degree of loyalty that you have for C/hai Yusuf, you seem like a person who has been thoroughly brainwashed by tribalism. Considering the crimes that C/lahi commited he certainly does not deserve the over whelming support that you and others give him. It is sad and tragic to see a somali citizen like you who is a victim of tribalism, It seems like you don't use your mind and your intelligence when it comes to electing a national leader. An exaggerated tribalism is a mental set that is destructive and self-defeating and if you continue possessing this kind of mental set, you will pay the price at some point in life! -
TO: Kanten, Sakina This issue is a legitimate issue that deserve attention. It is also absolutely imperative for all of us to be concern about these roque nations. Iran has a culture of violence and its policies breed insecurity and foster deadly hatred. However,In this modern time We no longer live in a world, where only the actual firing of weapons represents a sufficient challenge to a nations security to constitute maximum peril. Rogue nations such as North Korea and Iran are arming to threat the peace and the security of the free world. We are constantly monitoring the activities of those who already posses Nuclear Weopons. India, Pakistan and Israel have affirmed their commitment to not to abuse their power. Israel has a genuine reason to have Nuclear capababilities in it's arsenal since it is embedded in heart of it's enemies. On the other hand, Iran has deliberately violated the international laws concerning the development of Nuclear Weopons and if Iran fails to change its belligerent attitude toward the free world. America will be in a place to rightfully bring serious consequences upon Iran.

The right men for the job Abdulah Yusef president
Man Of Freedom replied to milk's topic in Politics
To Libaaxsanaktaabte What about if C/lahi Yusuf become the president of the republic?..That is virtually impossible, Somali's can only choose c/lahi Yusuf as a leader if they want to repeat the dark history in our chapter. C/lahi Yusuf has a history of aggression, deception and lies.He is homicidal meniac addicted of comitting crimes where ever he puts his foot. Moreover, He does not have the knowledge, the skills, the experience, or the characteristics of leadership.Electing C/lahi Yusuf as a president would be like re-electing Sadam in Iraq. I can't imagine the worst scenario other then seeing C/lahi as a president. Somalia is in a desperate need for a great leader who has the charisma and the moral principles that would unite our disintegrated society. Electing a criminal as a leader would invite conflict and more problems. Somali's future is at stake, and we cannot afford to fail. C/lahi Yusuf is an obstacle to peace and stability, removing him totaly from any future government will produce possitive outcome. -
If we are somali's We should be all concerned about Iran's ambition to acquire Weopons of Mass murder. We know Iranians are Shiet Moslems, and we have witnessed the horrific military actions that Iran carried out against Iraq in 1980s. As we know today there is fire in many parts of the world, the peace and the security of the civilized world is under a major threat by a rogue nations who have a propensity to export violence to peaceful nations. The Safeguards of peace are busy with Iraq and Afghanistan, helping the afflicted people of Iraq and Afghanistan to build strong, properous nations. Today Two countries are free and Domocrazy is on the raise. Yet, their efforts to help them is attenuated by this new emerging threats. Nevertheless, the danger that Iran posses to the world is clear and it is growing, and it would be naive to ignore it. We all have the right to be alarmed, but how should we deal with this growign danger? Are the moslems willing to work collectively to successfully mobilize international pressure on Iran, and if that does works to no avail, will the moslem have the military capability to take punitive measure against Iran?, or should we support Israel to strike it's nuclear facilities since it has the power to do so?. The question remains opencolor>

To: Snow I believe you are generalizing when you say the "the west is known to give raise to dictators" From the historical point of view, America is unique in it's role in the world. America is a good and has been a great nation. America remains to be the sole supreme super power in the world today, and it plays an active role in every aspect of the world, whether it is responding to calls of those who suffer under oppression, or those who are victims of natural causes such as flood, diseases, and famine. It would be America's pleasure to initiate an effective African strategy,We know by fact that Africa has been a continent dominated by thoughts and dreams. America is obliged by virtues to help those who need help in times of need. Now, it is indisputable that Africa is in desperate need for America's wealth, Yet, America still remains generous and it is commited to carry out the same spirit we had when we transformed Germany and Japan from nations of chaos to Democratic nations who are also an economic powerhouse in their continents. We say to AFrica "Help is on the way".

Our work in Iraq has been hard. Our coalition has faced changing conditions of war, and that has required perseverance, sacrifice, and an ability to adapt. However, we are known for our sincere commitment we will prevail over all odds and the rise of a free and self-governing Iraq will deny terrorists a base of operation, discredit their narrow ideology, and give momentum to reformers across the region. This will be a decisive blow to terrorism at the heart of its power, and a victory for the security of America and the civilized world.
