  1. I am just happy that they are leaving Southern Somalia, its now up to the Northern Somalis to do what they want, ofcourse if the Northern Somalis choose to fight the Xabesh we are fully willing to join and help our brothers.
  2. Well done, the resistance has done fantastic, they forced the ethiopian out of Souther Somalia without much international support, even though the ethiopians had the backing of the US,EU,AU and Arab league. Allah be praised the most high, who stood my he's slaves when they had no one else and when they needed help the most.
  3. Good news, things look promising for the people.
  4. Somalis must never forget and forgive the evil Tigray on what they have done to the somalis in ****** and Mogadishio, they have proven to be far worse and barbaric than the Amahara.
  5. the brave ONLF brothers over run the filthy xabashi and their ****qodhi  :somalia: http://www.mathaba.net/0_index.shtml?x=594900 Reports reaching our service desk confirm that the Gorgor battalion of the ****** National Liberation Front (ONLF) successfully overruns the Ethiopian defenses in the towns of Dhagax-madoow and Dundumo-cadka. Dhagax-madow is in the Jarar province which the Ethiopian military and its associated militias have had a major military garrison. Dundumo-cadka is only kilometers away room the strategic town of Baabili. Eyewitnesses reported the Gorgor battalion captured both towns and the military garrisons in and around them. Most of the Ethiopian soldiers in these garrisons are reported to either have been killed, captured alive, or are unaccounted for at the time of going to press. It is reported that Ethiopian re-enforcements could not reach both towns since these re-enforcements are said to have been waylaid by ONLF forces, which were strategically placed in all the roads leading to these towns. Camel herders who were in the area at the time reported that Ethiopian re-enforcements from Dhagax Bur were surprised by a large ONLF force stationed near outskirts of the city. The surprise attack is said to have forced these re-enforcements to return back to Dhagax Bur. On the Baabili side, ONLF army personnel stationed in the roads leading to Dundumo-cadka ambushed Ethiopian re-enforcements. It is said that these re-enforcements could not successfully reach the town to help out the garrison that was overrun in the town. There has been no accurate casualty counts in the battles in Dhagax Madoow, and Dundomo-cadka. Locals interviewed by our reporters in these towns indicated that the armies in the garrison overrun by ONLF numbered around 1800 military personnel. Our reporters in the area reported that the Gorgor battalion is the said battalion that overran the Cobolo oil exploration sites in April 2007. Locals told our reporters in these towns how ecstatic they were in finally seeing the backs of the Ethiopian militias who have been harassing the town folks and looting property for months now. One of our senior reporters in the area said that the latest successful destruction of main military garrisons belies the recent claims by the Ethiopian prime minister that his army destroyed over 95% of the ONLF army. This senior reporter added that reliable ONLF forces intimated with him that the Gorgor commando operation is only the first of planned ONLF military incursions targeting major Ethiopian military garrisons throughout ****** in the coming months.
  6. Well done to Putin, we somalis know too well of united states hypocrisy. Its great to see that Russia is defending its interest against the US.

  8. What happened to wiping out the somali population talk? Either this guy will be replaced by Nur Adde to give the TFG a final chance or he will destroy the TFG with him. The Ethiopians are now feeling the heat of the somali Liberation forces, if Nur Adde is made to leave and AY stays it will strengthen the resistance even further. The ethiopians understand this, getting rid of AY is now in their own interest to exit somalia safely without being drag into the escalating conflict that they cannot win on this while Eritrea is arming itself to the teeth in the North.
  9. The world welcomes back Russia with open arms, its about time someone stood up to the United snakes.
  10. The war has to come there eventually.
  11. By Salad Idow Hasan (Hiis), Hiiraan Online sxiis@hiiraan.com Monday August 11, 2008 Former Somali President Abdikassim Salad Hassan Mogadishu, Somalia (HOL) – Speaking to Simb radio in Mogadishu, the former President of Somalia Mr. Abdikasim Salad Hasan discussed a number of issues including the presence of Ethiopian troops in Somalia, the recent accord between the Transitional Federal Government (TFG) and the opposition Alliance for the Re-liberation of Somalia (ARS) as well as possible solutions to Somalia’s problems. When asked about the recent accord between the TFG and the opposition ARS, the former president praised the efforts for reconciliation but questioned how it would be possible to implement some articles in the accord such as the withdrawal of Ethiopian troops from Somalia within 120 days. He argued that Ethiopian troops arrived in Somalia with the support of the current US Administration led by President Bush and cast doubt that they will leave Somalia without the permission of the US. “I would like to tell President Bush that Somalis and Americans have had long cordial relationship therefore don’t destroy that long relationship by keeping Ethiopian troops in Somalia,” said the former President who added that the objective of sending Ethiopian troops to Somalia was the killing, maiming, and displacement of thousands of innocent Somalis. When asked about the possibility of reconciliation among Somalis if Ethiopian troops leave Somalia, the former President responded: ‘without doubt”. “Somalis are brothers [and sisters] who share common culture and religion and therefore there are no [endemic] problems among them and I am sure they solve their problems” said the former President. Asked about how he sees the future of Somalia, he said that he is sure that one day Somalia will be prosperous and peaceful. “People now are ashamed to associate with Somalia but time will come when people would be proud to call themselves Somalis and when people come to Somalia to find jobs” said the former President who added that he would encourages Somalis to repent so that Allah helps out of their problems. 12. These traitors amaze me at the things they write, lol. I can't stop laughing and i can't wait when General Duke declares jihad against Ethiopia, looool Revealed: Why Gabre is in bed with Nur Adde and the opposition? 11 Aug 11, 2008 - 7:03:08 AM by Abdi Mohamed Ali Today we can reveal pieces of vital information which not many people know. The information you will read make up pieces of the jigsaw which all fit together. I thought to share with my Somali people today what is behind the worsening situation in Somalia. The information in this article will reveal some of the hidden secrets in the complicated and worsening situation in Somalia. This story is about Abdullahi Yusuf, Nur Adde, Gabre and the Opposition. I heard many times and have admired Nur Adde, our Prime Minister when ever he used to say,“Waan is casililayaa hadday sidaas wax ku hagaagayaan” (I will resign if things will get better) I used to think what a noble stand. I also always used to wonder why did he seek power only to relinquish. Today, it has come on the surface not only why Nur Adde used to say such statements but also the main reason why Nur Adde took his seat of Prime Minister in the TFG. It looks the main reason Nur Adde joined the TFG was to replace the Transitional Government with the Opposition. It looks Nur Adde was always at heart always with the opposition and not on the side of his own government. Through known clan elders whose agenda was very clear and members of the business community, Nur Adde, was always in secret alliance with the opposition. The aim it seems was a Trojan horse strategy to replace the TFG. The following reasons are the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle and a testament: (1) Nur Adde has blocked most of the money from donor countries to the Transitional Federal Government making donor countries believe that they should hold everything until after the peace process when the government is established. This is an open betrayal to his own Ministers and to his Government. (2) Many of the Ministers are angry and disappointed with Nur Adde because they were working under a Prime Minister whose heart is not with them and with his government. Nur Adde does not show any care for the TFG which bent its rules to make him its Prime Minister. Nur Adde has sacrificed everything including his government to appease, court and accommodate the Opposition. His Ministers feel abandoned, neglected and betrayed. To make matters worse, Nur Adde is now in unholy alliance with Gabre in an open revolt against President Abdullahi Yusuf who only 10 months ago picked him as Prime Ministers among many better contenders. (3) Nur Adde was the man behind the troubles in Hiiraan. In Hiiraan the man most loyal to the TFG and to his people was the former governor who was humiliated and ousted by Nur Adde himself. (4) Nur Adde has used the tribal elders as his backers and as a pressure group to get his way and stay in power. This was a betrayl to the TFG. What about Gabre who is now on the side of Nur Adde? Now Gabre is openly on the side of Nur Adde and against Abdullahi Yusuf. Was Gabre not the man who came to Somalia because of Abdullahi Yusuf? Now we know why. The information which has surfaced is that Gabre is on the take from the opposition. Some sources say Gabre was for sometime taking $100,000 every month from the Opposition through their sponsors and traders. This amount has been increased to $150,000 since early or mid this year after Gabre demanded increasement. Since recently it was not clear why Gabre is on the side of Nur Adde against the President in the same TFG? Throughout Europe Nur Adde is known to have campaigned for the removal of the Ethiopian army from Somalia. It is not secret that Nur Adde used to tell the European Union, the main obstacle to peace in Somalia is the presence of the Ethiopian army. Now, how come the commander of the Ethiopian army Gabre is in bed with Nur Adde? What do you thing has sweetened Gabre to ally with Nur Adde? Now we know why. The issue is money? Mogadishu is full of dollar and money talks many languages. Another puzzle I can reveal today is why Nur Adde sacked Mohamed Dheere? The news is Mohamed Dheer was the man who went to Abdullahi to disclose the conspiracy against him. That is the reason Abdullahi Yusuf put his foot down to keep Mohamed Dheere as the Mayor of Mogadishu. Another revealation is why Gabre is after the head of Mohamed Dheere? The news we have says Gabre is angry with Mohamed Dheer because he went to Abdullahi Yusuf to reveal the secret that Gabre is on the payroll of the Opposition and the business community in Mogadishu and since Gabre is on the payroll of the Opposition he is also in collusion with Nur Adde. Some rumors say that there was a conspiracy to murder the Somali President. It was Mohamed Dheer and the police chief Abdi Qaybdiid who foiled this conspiracy. It is also believed that this is part of the reason why Gabre was on the payroll of the Opposition to murder Abdullahi Yusuf. Gabre became money taker because there are traders who can bribe anyone. This is all the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle. Today I know what is behind the worsening situation in Somalia and now you too know once you have read the information which is this morning circulating in Baidhabo, Mogadishu and Nairobi.
  13. Sunaari you must admit that AY has failed he's people beyond imagination. All he had on he's mind was about getting revenged against clans X and Y rather than making peace and unity between the somali people and becoming a true president and statesmen of the somalis. He's hate for he's own people allowed ethiopia and the united states to exploit him to bring further harm to he's country. The United states does not want somalia to be a strong peaceful independent country and thats the last thing that ethiopia wants. sunaari, i beg you to please see the light and understand the situation of our country. Today we are both refugees without a country, worse still is that thousands of ethiopian troops are in our soil. What can we do because we have missed an opportunity that the Islamic courts have brought and AY has failed us all by allowing to be used by ethiopia to invade our country. He would have been president today with strong support from the somali people had he accepted the Islamic courts and they would have accepted him as president of somalia, but he believed that ethiopia would help him along with the united states to turn against he's people. He trusted ethiopia more than he's own people and look where that got him today.
  14. sunaari, if you know the game, its the Ethiopian's that call the shots. The TFG constitution means NOTHING at all, lol Am just gonna sit back and watch the show, lol, and in the meantime i will watch how you changed from being pro-ethiopian to anti-ethiopian, just because meles no longer backs your uncle. Face the music, that is Ethiopia does not need AY any more, he has achieved he's worth and is no longer required. Walahi i would laugh my heart out after all this if AY turns around and say's he wants to join Al-Shabaab to liberate somalia, now that would be funny, and i bet you would be cheerleading for Al-Shaabab after that. You follow AY everywhere, lets hope that you also follow him to HELL. You should be loyal to somalia not one man.
  15. The Somali TFG President Abdullahi Yusuf recently met with the the Somali TFG Prime Minister Nur Hasan Husein (Nur Ade) in a secret meeting held at the AMISOM base. The two top head officials of the Somali Transitional Federal Government (thought to be a puppet for Ethiopian dictator Melez Zenawi) discussed their conflicting stand on political issues in Somalia and the meeting to decide who has the upper hand or final say on deciding the route the puppet government will take. Recently there has been feuds over decisions made by both of the TFG's top leaders involving the removal of several government ministers from the posts, where former warlord Abdullahi Yusuf reacted negatively to the firing of the ex-Mogadishu Mayor Mohamed Dhere by the Prime Minister. Sources close to the Nur Ade say the decision to dispose of Mr. Dhere came from outside parties thought to be the U.S. and E.U intervention. Despite the secret meeting being the first between the President and Prime Minister, no tangible result had come about, except that they disagreed on every mandate they discussed at the meeting. As a result, they now have more hate for each other than before the meeting. Abdullahi Yusuf's position is weakened by the lack of support from his commander Melez Zenawi and the Ethiopian army Mr. Gabre who apparently told Mr. Yusuf to stand back and not get involved with the new face of Somali politics. Apparently, the new face involves reconciliation between the TFG and the Djibuti wing of ARS. It seems the time for Mr. Yusuf to enjoy in Somali Villa is coming to an end. It a few months before elections (if they are held at all) are conducted and a new president is elected by the TFG. Will Mr. Yusuf continue as president or will he move back to Puntland where his the head of state?
  16. Xabashil will soon depose of him, they don't need him no more lol. News is that General Gabre has just returned to somalia, loooooooooooooooooool. After the slap this time AY will get i don't think that he will ever be able stand again.
  17. The White House has orchestrated the current conflict between Russia and Georgia in South Ossetia, a high-ranking Russian official says. In a Friday press conference, Chairman of Russia's State Duma Security Committee Vladimir Vasilyev said without US aid, Tbilisi would have been unable to start military operation in South Ossetia. Georgian military forces launched a large-scale military offensive against South Ossetia on Thursday evening. Russia, in response, moved its forces to the region. The battles between Georgian and Russian forces have left at least 1500 people dead. Vasilyev said the situation in South Ossetia draws parallels to the wars in Iraq and Kosovo. "The further the situation unfolds, the more the world will understand that Georgia would never be able to do all this without America," the Russian official added. According to Vasilyev, the US State Department refused to comment on reports by South Ossetian defense officials that Georgia was planning an imminent aggression. "In essence, the Americans have prepared the force, which destroys everything in South Ossetia, attacks civilians and hospitals," he expounded. South Ossetia is officially a Georgian province but a large number of its population of 70,000 possess Russian passports and have strong links with North Ossetia, a Russian territory.
  18. dhulQarnayn, please take the time to read this article, thank you. Somalia: When the Weak (wrong) lead the Strong (right) 10 Aug 10, 2008 - 4:12:25 AM OPINION | The men we place on the pedestal are the ones who are keeping us in the Dark Ages. "All praises are due to Allah. We praise Him, seek His Help, and ask for His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evil in our souls and from our sinful deeds. Whoever Allah guides, no one can mislead. Whoever Allah leads astray, no one can guide. I bear witness that there is no one worthy of worship except Allah. I also bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger." Without a doubt, one issue that is always on the minds of Somalis in Somalia and Somalis in the Diaspora is the current situation in the beloved motherland - Somalia. Indeed, one could argue that the main root of all the conflict is the lack of strong and righteous leaders in the country. If there were strong men at the forefront of the war and not greedy, self-centered and so-called leaders, the Somalis in Somalia and everywhere else would eagerly welcome "the white dove" and the rebirth of what was once a great nation. However, if the current situation is not rectified soon and not changed for the better, we will be on the verge of becoming an endangered nation. The one question on our minds and everyone else's is: Where are the Somali leaders who will stand up for their country? We are in an age where nations are positioning themselves to take center in world through breakthrough leadership and advancement of technology and medicine, but we as Somalis are in an age where we are positioning ourselves to put an individual(s) who do not have leadership attributes on leadership positions. These nations that I speak of are nations that have men/women who exemplify the true meaning of leadership. Examples are China, India, Brazil, Germany, and many others. These nations are states with long history and abundant resources such strong economy and strong recognition across the world, but they had revolution on the hierarchy of leadership. They are Hu Jintao, Dr. Manmohan Singh, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, and Angel Merkel, respectively. About a decade ago, these nations with the exception of Germany, were considered developing nations. However, their leaders or head of state demonstrated remarkable characteristics and qualities of leadership and their respected nations are now political and economic powerhouses. To me leadership is the processes of motivating a group of people to reach their full potential. However, Kathryn M. Bartol & David C. Martin in Management (3rd Ed.), define leadership as "the process of influencing others to achieve organizational goals." They also continue to say that this pillar of leadership is considered the foundation of the management function known as "leading." Being leader is extremely challenging. Recent estimates indicate that as many as 50 to 60 percent of leaders in organizations may actually be incompetent leaders. Several years ago, when I was searching for a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) program to attend, I came across an advertisement from New York University Stern School of Business. The advertisement read: "What does it take to be a leader?" HARD WORK, determination and a couple of hours each FRIDAY NIGHT." As I stared at the advertisement, the only thing that struck me was the couple of hours on Friday night. I have been an undergraduate for four years and my Friday nights was essential to my sanity and I was not ready to give up my Friday night. But then, I asked myself: Why one needs to sacrifice a couple of hours on Friday night to be leader? One answer: DETERMINATION. If you can sacrifice something that important and you are willing to give up to get more, then you have what it takes to make that leap from a follower to a leader or from a weak person to a strong one. We, Somalis in the Diaspora, understand what the basic necessity of life is: security, shelter, and physiological needs. However, we do not desire these wishes to our fellow countrymen based on our divisions and allegiance to our clans. Allah (SWT) says in the Noble Quran: "Mankind! We created you from a male and female, and made you into peoples and tribes so that you might come to know each other. The noblest among you in Allah's Sight is that one of you who best performs his duty. Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware." (Surat al-Hujurat: 13). To take this further, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said in Hadith: "You are sons of Adam, and Adam came from dust. Let the people cease to boast about their ancestors." By aligning with our clan when we know the effect of the actions that our fellow countrymen are committing, we are sanctioning transgression against our own people and Allah (SWT). As Muslims, we have fiduciary responsibility to correct the wrong and stand-up against injustice. Somalia today is at the crossroads and is on its knees begging for a way out and the only way out is an individual(s) with the capacity to affect the behavior of others. We need a leader who has the capacity to control and provide the basic necessities of life. We need a leader that has the power that results from being admired and liked by others. We need a leader who has the power that is based on the possession of expertise that is valued by others, not the power or the leadership that depends on the ability to punish others when they do not engage in desired behaviors. The men we place on the pedestal are the ones who are keeping us in the Dark Ages. These are the individuals that we are bragging about at the coffee shops and in our homes as the leaders of the Somali state. I am embittered and heart-broken to call those warmongers leaders. If we continue to sit and do nothing, the Somali name will be extinct. I implore you to renounce these leaders and what they represent, these men who are selling our country region by region. It is time to stop settling for second-rate leaders and say this is not good enough. WE CAN DO BETTER! It is our duty to do better for our country. Today, I have one suggestion for our people and myself: as former American President John F. Kennedy once said, "Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country." by Abdiwali Mohamed Dahir, cabdiwalimaxamed@hotmail.com Seattle, Washington
  19. dhulQarnayn, i don't think that somalis can "let the past slip away", esepcailly regarding how AY gave the habesh an excuse to invade somalia. The day he called for ethiopian troops to invade somalia is the day that he lost 90% of the somali peoples support. It also looks like the guy has lost the support of the habesh who are now feelig the heat from the somali liberation forces.
  20. It would have been great if he had brought peace and unity among the somalis. Sadly for all of us he has done the opposite. So AY is the best weapon ethiopia has.
  21. J.a.c.a.y.l.b.a.r.o, thats what i thought also, because how the hell can Al-Shabaab stretch itself all the way to burco when they are busy attacking ethiopian forces in somalia. J.a.c.a.y.l.b.a.r.o, what the hell is going in somaliland, this hit me by surprise?
  22. Is this report a joke or is it too good to be true. If the people of burco have joined the revolution, that is a great thing for the future unity and stability of somalia. But i do not believe this report, i will wait and see what happens
  23. HARGEISA, Somalia Aug 10 (Garowe Online) - Al Shabaab militants who are spearheading an Islamist insurgency in southern Somalia are gathering outside of Burao, a key town in the northern breakaway region of Somaliland, a government minister has said. Abdullahi "Irro" Ismail, Somaliland's interior minister, told the BBC Somali Service on Sunday that the militants organizing in the outskirts of eastern Burao are loyal to Mr. Hersi Ali Haji Hassan, a businessman who was arrested by local police last week. "Hersi Ali has links to al Shabaab," Interior Minister Irro said, adding that he will be brought to court after Somaliland police found "telecommunications evidence" during an investigation. Mr. Hersi Ali, who recently resigned from the Somaliland Election Commission, has openly opposed a trade agreement the Somaliland administration signed with Saudi Arabian company Al Jabberi, sources said. Somaliland's Livestock Traders Union, for which Mr. Hersi Ali was deputy chairman, has opposed the Al Jabberi deal on grounds that the agreement gives the Saudi company a "monopoly" over rights to export Somaliland livestock aboard. Dahir Riyale, the Somaliland leader, issued a directive last week allowing the export of livestock already on the grounds of the Port of Berbera, but effectively banning any export thereafter as part of the Al Jabberi deal. A local analyst speaking on the condition of anonymity told Garowe Online that Mr. Hersi Ali's arrest is "political," saying that he was opposition party Kulmiye's hand-picked man for the Election Commission. Al Shabaab, which the U.S. government considers a terrorist organization, is very active in much of southern Somalia, especially in Mogadishu where the insurgents have claimed responsibility for attacks on government troops and allied Ethiopian forces. Somaliland, in Somalia's northwestern regions, unilaterally declared independence from the rest of the country in 1991 but has not gained international recognition. Source: Garowe Online
