The Military base construction was speeded up recently but the other projects that were part of the agreement have not even started. Somaliland's main objectives when signing to this agreement was the other benefits that came with it. And since those benefits are placed on the back burner, then Somaliland needs to take a decision and put pressure back on the Arabs.

Thus, he takes on the view that "we should destroy" what we have build and go to the occupied territories of Southern Somalia. Whereas, I am on the view that, yes, we have issues and challenges but we should fix them as Somalilanders and build on what we have so far built. Any sane person free from qabyaalad will see which option is closer to sanity and rational thinking.

This is a serious matter. But not as serious as the uproar that engulfed social media when Dabcasar was detained in Hargeisa. It just shows the misplaced priority of Maryoolay.

Firstly I am doubting the authenticity of these threats. But with regards to the UAE, I am guessing that it is their obligation to provide safety not only for their military installation but also other major cities.

This nation can only assume its rightful position and reach its potential when we all, both gov't & opposition have a united vision. Yes, the opposition will need to keep the gov't accountable but also they need to support the gov't when it is doing the right thing. MBC has so far pressed all the right buttons including removing/retiring all the corrupted ex-Ministers. We all await this clean up to reach all levels of gov't including local government.

It is a political decision. The day that you have Ethiopia as an enemy is the day the likes of the "Awdal State" or "Khatumo" or anyother off-shoot of that type will bend-over for Ethiopia to do their bidding. That is a fact.
