Well, if you didn't know, it effortlessly takes one a second to find his assets. So easy that I read about him as well as many other prominent persons around the world, all in just one article. Apropos of the logic part, If I was as wealthy as he is I wouldn't do all that you say. But I hope not. You took so wrong in your bootless presage. Try to read between the lines. I'm just pertubed by the state of muslims today.
  2. ^^ Lol@ the flight 13 guy. Seems the same is happening here, Gediidow. I should as well add German to my language dictionary since I once flew over Frankfurt. Not mentioning Swedish and Danish that I understand almost 70 % (This is true though). Lol. Well said, MMA.
  3. Though paradoxically considered as today's Muslim leaders, one among them is Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal bin Abdul Aziz Alsaud, the world’s thirteenth richest person (according to Forbes), actually owns the prestigious Mount Kenya Safari Club, a club/hotel/restaurant that serves both liquor and exclusive wines. While in Darfur Hundreds Die Every Day Mainly from Starvation Wonder if he ever gets this on his conscience. We shall all on one beautiful/gloomy day answer the almighty. A marvellous lodge btw.. Mt. Kenya Safari club
  4. ^^Were you expecting the kids to learn by themselves? It's a parent's role. An example; A small Norwegian community in Nairobi organised and ensured that their kids attend mother tongue classes after school. They're less than 50 in number. I doubt Somalis have that kind of arrangement in London where they're in their thousands. That say alot about our community. We trivialise our language, culture or anything that's Somali for that matter. Our mothers' attitude is Hadii uu Ingiriisba iibarto muxuu somali kufalayaa. Meel walbuu tago dunida wuu laqabsana yaaye.

It is really sad. Speaking Somali is considered(in some Somali environs)being uncivilised . I kind of grew up in such an evironment. Afrikaanimo iga dheh! Contrary to the European societies(who are deemed to be civilised and we love to simulate) are so proud of their languages and traditions. And even push their children to learn their mother tongue/tradition even if they are born outside their home country. Growing up I remember waan ka faani jirnay in aan cunno Ugali(soor). And now I envy Norwegians who eat a thousands old meal every thursday(young and old in every homestead). You'll find Somali, Swahili, Norwegian and of course Ingiriis in my language thesaurus.
  6. Very impressive! Didn't know they were so religious. What's wrong with this so called muslim governments who are turning out to be copycats of the western gov'ts. Sounds like a you're in a European society. Terrorism everythere..Just to safeguard their bloody executive powers.
  7. Originally posted by NGONGE: ^^ Half of North African Arabs are not really Arabs. But then their argument is that being an Arab is not about origin but belonging. Neither are the Lebanese or the Syrians. Egyptians are genealogically as much Arabs as Somalis. About the belonging thing..Oh yeah, if you say so. A saudi prince promised them a seven figure-amount when they qualified for the semis by the way. Must be a billion by now!
  8. ^^Exactly. Zidan did all the work. Originally posted by Faarax-Brawn: Well, anyone who thought Cameroon(or any of those west Africans) had a chance against the mighty pharoahs was just hating on "arabs". Lol. That's on the edge! So you expected a clean batch of Pharoahs' aficionados on the tribune with no green shirt at all. In other words anyone cheering a "black" team hates Arabs, claims you! This is sports, Brawn. Egypt played elegantly with the courtly manners of proffessional footballers but all teams have their hooligans. Showcase the fairness in sports arena you dearly profess to opine in your posts.
  9. He (Egypt's coach) only gets $10,000 per year! Poor him! While Brazilian Parreira (South Africa's coach) earns a mind-blowing $250,000 a month!
  10. Originally posted by Faarax-Brawn: Egyptians are not Arabs adeer . Did you know that they were known as 'United Arab Republic national football team' for around 20 years.

Your boys took one hell of a beating! Your boys took one hell of a beating! Classic commentating. A replica of the Norwegian commentator after beating England. Egypt played polished football and looked mighty and superior to their african counterparts. But I wonder they never qualify to the world cup? PS; They knocked the world cup door twice. They bowed out of the tournament in the first round both times.
  12. Congrats Egypt! You deserved it. Lol@ the officials running out of medals. Hadari didn't get one and had to borrow from his coach. Not mentioning medals falling on the ground. Seems Ghana didn't care much about the arrangement after failing to come to the final. The tournament was colourfull though and full of life. Always looked forward to the next game although my team and all the teams I supported failed me. But the best squad won. Can't wait for the next one. In the meantime we can look forward to the trivial and less joyfull Euro tournament.
  13. ^^Wishful thinking or should I say wishful translation. Huh? A misleading translation. I'm not into Somali politics but would love to elaborate what the norwegian financial paper wrote. The article only mentions Asante's (a newly formed company, which is NOT worth billions as the reporter claims) plans of searching oil in East Africa. No mentioning of a country at all. But it turns out that East Africa is actually in Somalia or rettere sagt i Somaliland . (Aner ugler i mosen jeg). This is the article in Norwegian.
  14. ^^Will go for the long-lasting energy-giving meal 'Fufu' instead of the yummy dessert that only give a quick boast of carbs for a short time. That's why North africans can't keep up with their opponent's pace during overtime
  15. Would be a tight game! Difficult to predict. But I hope The Lions gonna take advantage of their phsysique and defence qualities just like in the semis. And the Pharoahs, well, They have their quick and correct passes on their side and not mentioning their smart and fast counter attacks. These guys are unpredictable, I tell ya. Eto'o all the way. Like his calmness. He's always composed.
  16. Cameroon won their inaugural title in 1984 after losing their opening match that year - to Egypt. Expects a repeat.
  17. Talk of self-blindfolding! Her sentiments holds water. Arab's bias against blacks dates back in history. Always felt superior to the black race. And they still are. Don't they use the word Ya amhar(Donkey?) when calling a black person in their country. Not mentioning the inhumane treatment their black servants undergo. Even Somalis felt the ire after the war (esp. in Saudi). Have met Arabs with barbarously bigoted viewpoints, but still I can't put them all in one bucket (a nordic byword; generalize).
  18. Originally posted by NGONGE: 4-1, baby, 4-1. They celebrated exactly the same way in the last round. I like the way you still have faith in African teams despite the overwhelming odds (not to mention common sense). Edit: The stats were given by the commontator. I think it's all the games they ever played. ^^This contradicts your earlier wrangle. So Egypt isn't African? Can't be. Not all games played. Google it.
  19. Ngonge, where did you find those statistics? Is it only games played in ACN?
  20. ^^ Yielding the final to the Pharoahs. Oh yes, they proved me wrong. Henceforth considering them a football-fiend to reckon with. Let them double their record with a sixth win. Bleeding and ruffled
  21. Ivory coast is way behind. Trashing myriads of golden chances. Can't bear watching the rest of the game.
  22. Sad to see the host nation bow out of the tournament. They played better than their opponent. Would the Indomitable Lions live upto the hype when they face giants like Ivory coast or Egypt. Looking forward to the repeat of the 2006 final. The Elephants all the way
  23. ^^It's coming home where it belongs. Egypt May look like composed under pressure. But the hefty, snow-storm like gigantics like Kolo Toure, Kalou, and Drogba will reveal their unsteady gaits of play to the naked eye. They'll hardly toddle past The Elephant's defence block.
