  1. No Somalia is trying to make it appear as if Puntland is trained by Ethiopia which is total hog-wash, Puntland is like any other region in Somalia including his shababi-land where we all are under ethiopia noone is better then anyone and noone is free
  2. Somalia are u even from Puntland? Some of the things you post is questionable at best plus your signature Puntland in South Somalia what the hell is that. Geographically Bosaso and Mogadishu are 1000km apart it is not the south and never was refered to as such even in italian somaliland it was called italian somaliland not south somalia italianland and it was its own region named after its own sultanate!! Ur name makes no sense at all how can mogadishu and bosaso 1000 kilometers away from each other be in the same zone. Its Puntland In North-East Somalia kid your are not normal I don't think, next your probably going to have signature Puntland In Mogadishu You make me suspicious where u are from, are u from hargeisa? you sound like it..one day israel, one day arab, one day same lineage as mogadishu folk the next same lineage as jabuti folks...Your topsy turvy bro like that where noone can even take u serious and just hangs up on u like they did on that somaliland guy who called somali channel on puntland and manta

  5. Picnic to Bio Kulule Bosaso Travel Blog › entry 3 of 4 › view all entries February 14th, 2003 – by: ebbin Stony mountains of Bosaso Our first three months in Bosaso were not so thrilling as we were not ready to go out too much. During these days we made some good friends at office including our driver Jamaal. Jamaal, a very friendly man, was driver as well as body guard to us. He was responsible for all our travel needs. Every Thursday, it was his duty to take us to market. The local market trips were quite difficult for me in the early days but later it turned to be one of the interesting part of week. After first visit to local market, my wife decided not to take such enjoyments any more. In the market mostly women do business like selling vegetables, meat, kitchen utensils, grocery, furniture, and so on. Life was normal and monotonous until this One of the thousands of Camels that we used to see couple from Gujarat joined us in Bosaso. One of the thousands of Camels that we used to see. They came for a short term contract of setting up a chemical factory in Bosaso. I felt it could be nice to have a small picnic on one of the Fridays and discussed with Jamaal. He was very happy and suggested Bio-Kulule and Bosaso Beach. Bio-Kulule is a hot spring 10 kilometers away from Bosaso. We have decided to include Jamaal's family and some of our office friends. We started to drive towards Bio-Kulule at around 9:00 in the morning and left the city in 15 minutes drive. I couldn't see any roads to say, but just some marks of vehicles passed before. Vast area of dry land and stony mountains didn't give us a scope to trace even a small green plant. We didn't In Bio-Kulule travel long to spot a small green land far ahead. It was nothing other than Bio-Kulule. In Bio-Kulule As we reached the spring we saw the place was blocked by some sort of gate. A man approached us and demanded entry fees. After some sort of bargaining, Jamaal offered him 20,000 Somali Shillings for all of us. The place was cool and green. Plenty of date palms and some other trees were populated in a small area of almost 1+ acres of land. Naturally boiled water was flowing free from the spring as a stream and then collected to three different pools were people take bath. We washed our feet by stepping in to the stream. After spending morning hours and having our packed lunch, we moved back to Bosaso. Jamaal said he is following some different route by I was not able differentiate the routes until we reached the beach. Beach was quite and not much clean. Smell of decayed fish was not giving a pleasant feeling but the view was soothing. Blue waves and white sands gave the beach an exotic look. We didn't stay there for much as the fishermen were approaching us for selling their catch. Bro I don't want to post every tourist story for you, I know ten of the top of my head but you just need to realize Puntland is moving forward
  6. Somalia, yes I do believe so. It is an Al-Qaeda administration in Hargeisa and it needs to be called it. From now on thats im calling it a bunch of terrorists in suits
  7. Somalia;769178 wrote: The problem with Bosaso is that its too crowded and dusty, they need to expand the city to the East and when they do they shouldn't make the roads so close. Also, where are the trees? Plant some trees, green it up, its a bit dusty! Somalia you wont be satisfied with my answers brother, let this guy answer you who went there as a tourist back in 07 I visited Somalia the first time in 2007. This was my first visit to the autonomous region of Puntland. It is not easy to visit for many reasons. One, learning how to get a travel permit is not known even by top travel agents. Two, it may be a dangerous place to visit. To be safe another extreme traveler and myself arranged to have 4 armed guards at all times during our very interesting visit. There are no pirates in Bosaso. The pirates are on the other side of the Horn of Africa. We stayed at the International Village which has a compound and there are 6 or 7 gazelles which part of the day are allowed to roam freely. They are very cute and semi-tame. I wish I knew their exact species. The airport in Bosaso does not have paved runways and we flew on old Russian planes using Jubba Airways which has an unique, but effective mini-hubbing arrangement where passengers are reassigned to airplanes as traffic demands. The flight numbers on your ticket may not match the flights you take. Bosaso is a rapidly growing city that is lead by business people. Although poor with a 60% illiteracy rate, there is a can-do spirit and I left thinking there is hope for Bosaso and Puntland . I was fortunate to have some in-depth conversations with 2 separate Somali Americans and learned more than travelers usually do. We visited the East African University and the Port. At the University, I studied the white boards in many classrooms to get a sense of the educational approach and topics. At the port, we watched cattle caught one by one and loaded 2 at a time onto a wooden ship. The standard approach the merchants use is to have murals painted on their stores depicting the types of products sold so that customers who cannot read have no trouble find the right store. We were treated well by everyone we met in Bosaso. It was interesting to meet a dwarf at the airport as we were leaving. Armed Guards Cute Gazelle University Hospital East Africa Univ. 9. Somalia: Puntland clan blames Al Shabaab for scholar’s killing 31 Dec 31, 2011 - 1:54:49 AM GALDOGOB, Somalia Dec 31, 2011 (Garowe Online) - A Somali clan in the northern region of Puntland has issued a public statement signed by 21 traditional elders and community leaders blaming Al Shabaab terror group for the killing of an Islamic scholar earlier this month, Radio Garowe reports. The public statement was released in Galdogob town, in Puntland's Mudug region, on 30 Dec 2011 and signed by community leaders of ******** (*****) clan, led by Ugas Ali Ugas Mohamed, the chief of elders. The statement contained 9-points, stating that the ******** clan nominated an independent committee to investigate the killing of Dr. Ahmed Haji Abdirahman, who was gunned down in the Puntland port city of Bossaso on 5 Dec 2011. On Friday, Puntland Security Minister Kalif Isse Mudan told a press conference in Bossaso that Puntland security services have arrested seven persons in connection with the killing of Dr. Ahmed Haji Abdirahman. READ: Scholar’s killers have been caught, says Puntland Security Minister The public statement sent condolences to the Somali people and thanked everyone who helped and offered their prayers. The statement noted that the Puntland government and the Islamic scholars in Puntland State have separately blamed Al Shabaab terror group for murdering the scholar, Dr. Ahmed Haji Abdirahman. Point 2 states that the ******** clan viewed the decision by the Puntland government and the Islamic scholars to blame Al Shabaab group was “quick judgment” and therefore nominated an independent committee to investigate the crime. Point 6 states: “The ******** clan is confirming to the Somali people and to Muslims worldwide that the unjust and intentional killing of Dr. Ahmed Haji Abdirahman was carried out and organized by Al Shabaab group, particularly the Amniyaat group led by Ahmed Abdi Godane.” The statement continues on to say that the ******** clan has reached a collective decision to not respond in kind to the scholar’s killing, adding that the clan will be satisfied with an Islamic ruling on the case. It is the first time that a Somali clan has publicly blamed Al Shabaab for killing notable persons in Somalia. Puntland government officials blame Al Shabaab for a string of assassinations and bombings in Puntland’s major towns targeting government officials, community leaders, journalists, businesspersons and activists. GAROWEONLINE I want to know why doesn't somaliland do anything about shabab headquarters in Burco? When Puntland heard that galgala was infiltrated we fought it and defeated it and continue to fight against it where-ever it shows it's ugly face. I find it very hard to believe Somaliland cannot do the same unless of course they are shabab themselves. There is huge chunk of shabab top leaderships that call somaliland home is this by chance? it may be by chance but when you couple the fact that Somaliland doesn't do anything about the Burco terrorist network makes you wonder if they are the same thing. I am off the impression that Shabab homeland is Somaliland or as I like to put it Shababi-land and we need to get tough on this region regarding this and Puntland should bring it on the table at every major somalia conference that somaliland is AL-QAEDA ADMINISTRATION

  11. My dad thinks its cade muse rallying the people up against farole administration who the people there do respect. He doubts it jamac ali jamac because his not viewed very credibily in that part of Somalia even though his brother was key speaker at Bosaso Conference recently. Then there is ina samatar he said he doesn't really have much support from the locals due to corruption in the past. So he is putting his bets on Cade muse getting the people on the anti farole bandwagon!!! But Farole and His Kids are really setting themselves up like Saddam Hussein and Qusay and His Kids administration. Bosaso is the biggest city in Puntland and only recieved 1% of the student scholarships, does that make sense? of course not!!! He is holding back alot of progress for the city for example the Bosaso airport run-way is not complete, he threw out the agreement with Lootah to modernize Bosaso Port and turn it into a freezome where Puntland controls 70% and Lootah 30% where they would've of invested in the most modern deep-sea port in Somalia with the best of technologies. He rejected even Golis building their grand headquarters in Bosaso and Golis had to cut a deal with Farole to build one in Garowe thats why the Golis towers were to be be the biggest tower in Somalia it was going to be 10 stories now its only 7 stories and 3 story branch will be implemented in Garowe!!! His Kids are really bad, u remember diyano why u think he left Bosaso and went to kenya? maxamed farole kid had soldiers everyday outside of the PIS headquarters threatening diyano and his boys and diyano saw the best thing to do is leave before a war starts within Bosaso. His kids are now even saying noone can eat at certain restaurants and they must eat at the faroles, his taken over some of the bakeries in Bosaso also!! So Naturally the kings are going to be mad when you have an administration that clearly prefers garowe only!!!
  12. I can't post the text in here, it seems like SOL is down. But read the open letter to the U.N here http://www.raxanreeb.com/?p=125158
  13. Funny thing me and my dad today were talking about that the SYL and he said something hilarious. He said those SYL folks were basically illerate guys who freed the nation from colonizers, but today we have thousands of educated people and noone can solve somalia issues

  21. Som@li;768304 wrote: 2 Trillion -250 million ??? Anyway, the debt is without interest? and if there is interest? how much? The companies are getting the money through shareholders, they have farmed out with a number of companies. They already have the capital needed hence why why we are moving into the drilling phase!!! As for interest against Puntland no. The production agreements clearly state that we get 4-12% royalty untill the debt is paid off after which it is 50-50 deal that was the Production Agreement signed under cade and farole sign another one saying we were being ripped off so the figures are higher then that and im assuming it will be 10% royalty rate untill the debt is paid off after which it will be a 80-20 arangement in puntland favor but thats just me guessing as we don't know what the production agreements are farole signed and which parliament passed also!!! So as far as I know there is no interest, were paying our debts off by taking smaller slice or a royalty fee and giving the majority to the resource companies to pay off those debts!!! Thats the arrangement and they still walk away with 20% stake in the profits of the oil after that debt is paid off so I guess you could call that their interest which will make them billionaires!!!
  22. Guys who owns Somali Channel its definitely not owned by Puntland because I remember then interviewing deputy minister of agriculture regarding Galkayo and the reporter bursted out with Galmudug has an airport at Bandiradlay has an airport. Is this is a galmudug owned media outlet and don't say its puntland I've heard people say that but I highly doubt it unless evidence is provided it is mogadishu channel

  24. Somali how we are paying off the debt? dude dont you read? we only getting 10% of the revenue the majority of the oil profits at the initial stage goes to the resource company so we can pay off our debt. After our debt is over its 80-20 mark. How quick the debt will be paid depends on production I am assuming thousands of barrels of oil will be produced daily 90% going to the resources company, 10% to puntland. even we produce 1000 barrells a day which is very minimal thats still 100k but I assume it will be producing alot more then that 170,000 barrels a day and they only 9 billion puntland is double that on our onshore oil let alone our offshore. 170,000 x 100 barrels is 17 million a day. Plus u will need to go read the range resources on how much oil we will produce but its very high our debt will be paid off very quick!!!
