Wara Skipper, I will oblige him when he obliges me. The Point, 30 year old woman can have 10 children before the age of 40 if she so chooses. What's your point ? Dear Lily that mentality will never get you anywhere. Have you heard the story of a woman who her father was dead sick and she refused to go visit him because her husband was away, and she said she will not go unless her husband comes and gives her the go ahead. When her husband finally appeared and he told her to go her father was long dead. It wa raining and water was dripping from her and it dripped to her father and he ended up going to paradise. KK: As my lawyer Ahhahahahha, cool down because am not gona sue you. People have been sued for something much less.

Hello everyone. Shiiid how in the earth did i miss such an intresting topic? Clever trevor thanks sxb for bringing up this great topic. For sure we need to have such a deep discussion from time to time to substitute "My son did this today" and "Abdullahi Yussuf was awesome in his last speech" treads. Now back to the issue at hand. Due to how our culture is structured it is exceedingly hard for a xalimo to get married to a farax who doesnt have a university degree. Why? Because he would never be accepted by her family. The rejected farax might be more caring, responsible, intelligent and has the know how to get his daily bread but alas, that is not enough for the parents daughter to saction a marriage. The other thing is if a girl is educated and the farax isnt then he will be too afraid to start a family with her for fear of being under her authority due to her university degree. In an ideal world this would have been irrelevant because having a university degree doesnt mean that the farax is perfect. Lily: What makes you think any career-orientated Xalimo would want to be with such a Farax whose sole aim is to oppose her career aspiration and to ‘oblige’ him to begin with? Isn't she trying to avoid such a man? And since when do hajibified sisters have no career aspirations? What makes you think these young things will not have the same ambitions as their older sisters? Sister lily with all due respect to you i think you have a zero knowledge of ISLAM. Because if you were more into islam you would have known that that "Oblige your man" is one of the things a a good muslim woman should do. KK: And as long as all of his parts are in reasonable working order, he is good to go... KK since when are men described as in the same words as machines? When you say all his body parts what what do you mean exactly? Ghanima: My dear Marriage and kids are a plus in life, not a must or a necessity for living. It is not the soul purpose of your existence nor the centre of everyone's universe. For some it is a privilege, for others it is the accessories of life. Ghanima trust me abaayo when i say you dont want to be a multi millionaire in the same class as Oprah and raise dogs like kids. I cant stress enough the importance of having kids and family. I am not married yet therefor i cant tell how it feels to be married and have kids but what i do know is that being married has more a of fringe benefits than meet the eyes.

No one seems to know where i am heading with what i said. So i rest my case.

I dont know why but since i started this "women and tears tread" i noticed that people keep crying for no apparent reason as neph put it so perfectly: Actually I'm crying now, after reading Skipper's comment about the "lazy Som-Canadian men." Now i hate myself for making people cry espeasially my very own nomads. KK like you said somali men are somali men wherever they are, in Norway they stand in the streets with their dirty clothes and just talk. Its pity you know. By the way kk you know anyone who is a member at SOL who works for United nations? I have a relative in Tronto thats why i know one one or 2 things about Canada.

Arsenal are going to suffer big time come sunday. Their light midfield will be put to severe test. Put Torres in the equation and Toure will wish he was in Ivory coast watching the game instead of playing it. I say no more than that.

Can the black people stay without blaring music at all? or is it in their genes to crank it up all the way volume wise? Diaspora dude well dude sxb for asking a perfectly crafted quesion. Having said that i want to apologise to you for the negative answers you got from some xalimos and faraxs, that was uncalled for. I was watching an ecconomic summit the other day held in Geneve, where world leaders from around the world attended. An ecconomist made some shocking comments and unfortunately he was right. He said that Africans should never be allowed to govern their country because they are not smart enough to lead a nation. Take South Africa for instance, it was better of when the whites were gverning it than now. Look at Zimbabwe, Mugabe took the farms from the white people who were living there for centuries and gave it to the black zimbabwians, the result was that they nearly starved to death and had to seek refuge from other coutries. If you ever go to New york then you will realise that every black person is either singing or hearing to a music. Like you said diaspora its in the genes sxb.

How is 'crying' a danger? Crying is danger when it is forced in order to get something from someone. KK you get what i mean. KK by the way i am just curious really because am told somali men in canada dont work, they are in other words lazy and go from caffe to home. How are the somali ladies handling that situasion?

Hodman you are talking about using a few hundred bucks on coffe and magazines a year. I get to spend thousands of dollars a month and i have no clue what i spend them on.

Kool kat and neph am not crying darlings i am only sending a piece of advise to my fellow faraaxs about the danger the opposite sex are capable of.

I rest my case since i feel there is no one answering the issue at hand.

Ariadne whether i am a teenager or not has nothing to do with the issue at hand. You went even as far as to suggest that i dont have any sisters but i will neither confirm nor deny it because i usuallly dont like to talk about my family.

Zafir there is the only explanation available i would assume. By Ghanima: I agree with Zafir, I doubt that you have been targeted by a manipulative women…yet! Ghanima maybe not but rest assured that if it does happen then i would have my own trick up my sleeves. There is nothing more that i love than a good battle like mohammed ali said"My worst battle i had with my first wife" i look forward to it. By Dhuc: Crying is good for us as Shakespeare wrote: "To weep is to make less the depth of grief." I just dont buy such explanations espeacially by a man who made his living from writing fiction stories. By the way Ghanima i miss your picture so much, Solers are the big losers, so i was wondering if there is any chance you get it back?

Rudy if you keep talking that way to someones else wife then you will end up in trouble very soon. By Rudy: i went to this eiid dinner and i ended up in the xalimoos table (well its was the first table where the food counter was )...why would I wanna go and sit with the guys...while i see pretty looking xalimoos. It should have read i went to this eiid dinner and i ended up in the xalimoos table because they sat at the table where the food counter was.

Zafir are you faling in love with me darling? I was told SOL is a discussion site rather than argumentive one. Since i came you were allways hostile to me. I wonder why? Neph:Uhhh Puhleeeze Skipper, you need to soften a bit dude! Now I know if I cry in front of my hubby and most of my male relatives, they would get so nervous and guilty and would hand me their wallet to keep me quiet.. . Ahhh, waxaasaa iiish calaa fii family lagaa dhahaa. TEll them

Chubka the fact that women will outnumber men in hell is not the best kept secret. If you had paid a little more attention to Islam then you would know what i am talking about. By the way the reason why i told you the incident that happend to me many years ago was backing the subject at hand with something that i had earlier experienced. The quesion that i want you to answer is why do women use manupulation to get their way? Is honest and dignity an unknown thing to women?
-
Through generalizing we are able to learn something that we wouldnt learn otherwise. The other day i heard that the tallest people in the world are the the tutsi of Congo. That ofcourse doesnt mean that all tutsis are tall but generally speaking thay are the tallest people in the world. So when i say women are good in the art of manupulating to get her way, i dont mean that all women are that evil. But again when we use the formula of generalizing then we discover that they are good at the art of manupulating. No wonder why women outnumber men in hell.

By Dahabshid:lool. Skipper has a point there, Kindly asnwer, Why do you cry when there is nothing to cry abt? Dahabshid you got my point there but it seems people are side stepping from the issue at hand. By kk: Ohh, this is so cute...Skipper, does your long distance future wife cry alot?lol...I am just kidding, don't get all excited on me now... KK usually long distance relationship doesnt work and like any other girl my presumed girl i am in relationship with uses the dirty manipulation tricks. By Bob: Skipper...The day you meet a Xaliimo who will consider you to be worthy of her cherished tear drop(s)... consider yourself to be the Luckiest Faarax alive but before that make sure you always carry a sledge hammer with you so you could hit them on the head with it every time she tries to repeat the trick... Abtii Bob the moment a girl starts crying then some unknown sympathy overtakes me witout my brain giving the green light to that. Even if she brings an open cheque then i would ask "where do i sign?" just to put stop to her tears. But with age i am more experienced and it would take more that girls tears to shake my unshakable attitude. By Chubka: excuse me thats mean. I would have cried too, mayb she really liked you and you jst go and ruin her whole life in a split second. Who says? Dear Chubka the girl was my dugsii mate and that is where the similarities stops. Like you said she might have had feelings for me but i am not a fortune teller in your book am i?

First of all i want to say happy ciid to all of you. Now that the ramadan is done i thought i did bring up a subject that was bagging me for a few years now. Some might go as far as to say that i am anti women, but thats not not true. Having said that my intention is not to make this subject a some what a 2 way traffic where xalimos against faraaxs line up against each other. Be honest and speak your mind regardless of your sex. What disturbs me when it comes to women is their legendary manupulations towards men to get what they want. Whether a women is looking for forgivness or want some favor they will try to get through manipulation. All women know that the easiest way to make a man uncomfortable is to cry; we've all witnessed men that automatically give in to even the most unreasonable requests just to make the tears stop.Girls learn such tricks at an early age. fathers present gifts to teary-eyed daughters and school teachers forgive bad behavior at the onset of convincing tears at work. I have been on a receiving end where a girl made her tears flow like a river and i had to suffer the concequence of it. I was in Africa at the time. This fate happend in dugsii after i said some harmless thing like your clothes are dirty. The girl got to work her tricks and couldn´t stop crying for the next 2 hours. It was as if i said to the girl that her mother just passed away. She cried as if it depended on her life and she bought her self some pity and me a pack of hate. Macaalin dugsi was left to bargain with tears. To stop the the tears he told me not to go home to eat breakfast. Who could blame him, i mean the girl was giving an academy award performance, Julia roberts would have been proud.

Shekoo again well said sxb but i refuse to believe what you want us to belive. Nothing personal but just following my instincts. i hope you have nothing against that.
