This was once my idea... We need to run a PVA on the last genuine good Somali qualified Leaders if any exist! What is PVA, I learned about this once in my species extinction and conservation class. The test involves picking a species that is at risk of becoming extinct and to try to run a simulation program with 99 reiterations with one percent error only. The experiment allowed us to run a program to that simulates different conditions,wild fires, wars, deforestation, disease, and inbreeding etc. After putting in all the possible disturbances , we then put in recovery variables such as transfering communities, mating with other colonies, increasing land space, etc. After inputting variable methods we get the best model that predict can rehabilitate and save the at risk population, this was called Population Viabilty Assesment (PVA). For my assignment to run a PVA, my alter ego wanted to pick Somali Men. I proposed in my mind to round up the few that is left of good friends, brothers, fathers, hard workers, who are spiritually and academically sound, and are qualified for leadership, and place them in the a habitat to come up with a model that will that will allow to increase in population and pass on their genes. So, if you are out there, a good Somali Men, I recommend that you make sure you pass on your genes before you go extinct. lol No kidding...

Okay, who is going to admit that they don't know the outcome of this? Neither the ICU nor the TFG got it together. There are many predictions. 1.The TFG backed by U.S and U.N support will have tons of funds to rebuilt the region, which will force different clan leaders to harmonize for the sake of $$. Coupled with the west's georgraphic interest in the region. They have summoned others to help knowing that they can bring peace and order on their own. So U.N peace keeping troops will return to Somalia. This will be an excellent "lap room" for the U.N and U.S to try-out any plans to "set up" a favorable "non-terrorist" government in any country . Somalia, a fairly Homoginuous people and not many in numbers, and hungry should be managable right?. If they can pull it off there, they'll be motivated to pull it off in other palces i.e Iraq, Iran and the likes. 2.Now the reaction of the somali people is another unpredictable variable. History tells us that the Somali people are not too keen on having foriegners in their country. (they have failed to get a long withe their brethen "clans" l lol). So if they are brainwashed to live a long with foriegn invaders, they have to be rewarded with something substaintial satisfying and distracting, perhaps food, work, Kha, Heinekan, MTV and BET. Yay to TFG.. Now the somali people because of the sudden change they are still in a daze, reality will sinkin in three to four to months. When the anesthesia wears off, they'll ask the serious questions, what the heck is the TFG gonna do? 2.The TFG will develop internal problems, given that many of these guys are motivated by their thirst for power and money, rather than the well being of their Nation. If they truely cared for the country they would not have parked their brains for 2yrs debating what to do, instead of doing what needed to be done. They will be a lot of press from the TFG leaders on T.V and radio, trying to sway the masses. Perhaps another two years of trying to lull people into lies. Eventually, the opposition grows stronger which will force them to imprison and execute a few folks. This will be the unfoulding of a new brutal military regime right before our eyes, Machiavelli style, "it is better to feared than loved". 3. Public discontent grows, as "selective salvation" is they style of the TFG for distributing money and power. In fact, ICU will regroup and the leaders will try to flip the table, form a political party, demand true Democracy ands the rights for "political participation". Now this trips the TFG, who would have prefered to annihilate these guys in the first Ethiopan air attacks, Darn it they surrendered, and now they have to sit on the same negotiation table with them. ---------- I am not on any side, just an observer...wondering, when will the bleeding stop.

I read the article about this guy online the SeattleTimes today. Sarcasticaly speakung, ahem ahem, His aspirations to become a Diplomat fits him well given that he already has the disposition of a "politician". May commend his background, as it was mentioned in the on Seattle Times. 1.He lied about being a College Graduate which was investigated andthen he said... 2.He did not pay the money he owed school so they put him on hold for graduatioin..but actualyl the truth is... 3.he confessed that he is just short of a "few" classes for graduation. The only thing great about the article was the back drop in his picture , in white and lightblue, my favorite color.. that reads "discovery institute"... Title of Aricle... Hmm, hello strangers.. This thread brings to mind an experience I had one time. Once upon a time, when I was running with th goats (members of congress) right here in DC, on Capitol Hill... sike! I could never be a politician, I am woman, black and Muslim lol. Actually the story is like this, I once had two teachers, one Muslim Teacher, another non-Muslim, in fact she was Jewish (OH the Horror) be quiet people. Anyway the Muslim teacher was a mean teacher, never fair to the students, playing favoritism, picking on others weakness, embarressing them in public in front of the class room and just wicked and condescending. I never understood why a person would be that way to me and others, given that we are "Muslims", she should set an example right? On the other hand I actually found the the Jewish teacher was fair in her grading system, positive reinforcement, etc. Then I realized it is a "person's" character is what makes them who they are, a Nationality, Religion, Gender is a state one may find themselves in. That is my two Bariis of unsolicitized wisdom for the day...

Salaam Everyone, In advance, I must say that there is nothing graphic or shocking in here. Just a discourse in attemp to get a glimpse of everyone's view on this sensitive matter. My thoughst are these on the subject, I think the purpose behind his execution was misguided, it was a pathetic attempt on part of the u.s a long with the "new Iraqi" government trying to pull of a "political public relations attempt" to make themselves look good, trying to act like something good came out of this war; as if that they are serving the Iraqi people and humanity by executing this dictator. What is more, this execution was a violation of international law, by handing a prisonor of war to his adversary.
