  1. Everyone knows. No one can do anything about it. Sucks, but hey! I can still plant some flowers in my garden.

  3. Not to sound misanthropic but humans have become like locusts. It would be nice if people limited themselves to 2 kids or something. And if some cataclysm wiped out half the people on Earth. (But I could never wish for something like that)
  4. You can't fight it! Shabeel will bring love to every cell of your nomad body
  5. If I hear "the West" one more time on this forum I'm going to vomit.
  6. LOL @ advertising your FB

  8. Politically correct bullshit? Say wha- First of all, I'm not going to justify myself to you. I think you know enough about me to draw your own conclusions. You know very well whom I would choose between my child and any other living thing on this planet. But let me ask you a question myself. What do you do in life? Let's say you're a doctor and your specialty is is joints. You discover a great way to repair the knees of handicapped people who can't walk because they were born with congenital defects, and you start treating them. Meanwhile, in the same hospital, maybe on the same floor, not many rooms away, there are children dying of leukemia. You think someone is going to condemn you? You think someone is going to have the gall to come up to you and say "leave those handicapped mothaf____z alone and go look after the children with cancer because their lives are more important"? Your job is to help the handicapped walk again. There are other doctors who are oncologists, and help out the kids with cancer. Conservationsts save animals, humanitarian workers save people. Period. I don't see any "f-ed up attitude" or any problem with that. I think the main boo-boo that's causing our disagreement is that you think one human life > an entire animal species. To me that's a repulsive opinion, but that has nothing to do with what I think of you. I respect your right to have this opinion and express it. The emotional and angry part is just me being passionate about what I believe in. My Somalinimozation has been complete for a while now Still, I maintain my original challenge. Go explain to a real nomad how your life is more important than the entire camel species.
  9. ^That post was for C&H. NG: I am not familiar enough with this particular case, but I promise I will look into it and get back to you. That being said, I will never agree with you that one human life is more important than an entire species.
  10. HELLOOOOOO! Are you even reading what I'm writing? Hell yeah, those people made a big deal about some gorillas, because that's what they do! If you were a conservationist that's what you would do too! The fact that you don't care about a species of animals going extinct, that's another thing. If you think humans are the big boss and that they deserve to destroy everything on this planet, good for you. I strongly disagree. It's not the conservationists fault, NOR THE GORILLAS' FAULT, that there were kids dying in the street. It's the humanitarian workers' fault, who were too cowardly to be there, it's the fault of power-hungry people who started the war in the first place, and so on and so on. Conservationists have a mission to safeguard animals, plants and this whole beautiful planet that God has given us. They're not in the business of saving people, because there are organizations who do just that. The example you gave in the Kalahari desert is an extreme one, but your choice of it reflects a mentality I simply cannot understand. There's WAY too many humans on this planet. We've spread like the plague and have cared for nothing but our selfish needs. And then we wonder about all these earthquakes and planes falling from the sky. Nature is fighting back and it's about motha-f-in time! You think you, as an individual, are more important than an entire species of animals? HAH! Please go say that to a geel-jire when the camel is gonna be on its way to extinction.
  11. Again, you're talking about two separate things, two separate efforts. There are organizations which help animals, and organizations which help people. I don't see how one interferes with the other. I'm not comparing Haitians to animals, you devious old man What I was pointing out with that comparison is that helping a human being or a creature in one corner of the world doesn't mean you don't care about a human or a creature in another corner of the world. In other words, saving the gorillas from extinction has nothing to do with the plight of Congolese war orphans. Your point is such a non-argument, I find myself surprised that I'm arguing against it. Sir. (I respect my elders)
  12. Nope, I'm sorry, I still don't understand what you're getting at. You and NG. In what way does saving a giraffe interfere with saving an African child? That's like BintHamid or whatever her name was getting all upset that people were helping the Haitians instead of the "children of the Ummah". Rubbish.
  13. No person who is even REMOTELY spiritual would have performed such a disturbing spectacle in front of grieving family members. The lesson to take away from this, and this is something certain members on this very forum have done well to prove, is that the bar needs to be raised on people who want to perform God's rites. And this applies to all religions. Too many worldly and petty people find themselves today in positions where only spiritual people belong.

  16. 1. I would like to know which "far off areas in which there was no record of Islamist fighters" AMISOM shelled? I'm not interested in sweeping generalizations. 2. Why do you think AMISOM is trying to terrorize the Somali people? I don't condone the shelling of civilians, but do you honestly think this is some evil plot by the AU to destroy Somalia? What could these guys from Uganda and Burundi possibly gain by bombing Somalis? Another street in Mogadishu? 3. How are AMISOM occupying invaders when all they have is a ****** compound? Name me ONE invading force in history that invaded a country and decided to stick to one building and a couple of streets in the capital city. It makes absolutely no sense. They don't even have the mandate to expand the area under their control, they are LEGALLY obliged to stay where they are, and you're talking to me about "occupying invaders". Script please!
  17. Kashafa bro, You haven't replied to me in the other thread with the offensive and whatnot.
  18. So why is Shabaab better than AMISOM if they shell civilian areas too?
  19. The massive offensive is in preparation. Or maybe it isn't. If it's gonna come, it's gonna come at an unexpected time, otherwise there's no point, is there? So all these announcements are nothing but smoke and mirrors, to distract from the fact that something is indeed brewing. Or maybe it isn't What's certain by now is that Shabaab isn't winning this. Sorry to break it down like this bro, but they're dead in the water. They have no momentum anymore, and nobody likes them anymore. They have proven they can't win the war, otherwise they would have done so in May last year. They have disrespected the dead, they have disrespected the living, they have disrespected the Somali people, and even Bin Laden probably doesn't care about them anymore. It's the same dance from 2007 & 2008, capturing this and that village, retreating, capturing this and that street, these & those outskirts. BOOOOORING! Their last major victory was taking Kismaayo, and that was - what- a year and a half ago? LOL! When Shariif came to power he told them they could keep it, as long as they'd play nice and do their part in rebuilding Somalia. How did Shabaab respond? By committing high treason! God doesn't like treasonous *******s, even if they claim to fight in His name. To be perfectly real, bro, I can bet you my life on it. Shabaab isn't going to take over Somalia. Not today, not tomorrow, not in days, not in weeks, not in months, not in years. That ship has sailed a long time ago. Now, as for what's going to happen instead, who knows? My personal prediction is that a benevolent dictatorship disguised as democracy, a la Algeria, is on its way, along with an amnesty for rebels. Speaking of amnesty, to any Shabaab members that may or may not read this forum: It is your Islamic duty, in front of God, and in front of your mothers, to abandon your destructive war and to swear allegiance to the people of Somalia. To accept the leadership of our President, the head of all Muslims, of all non-Muslims, of all the creatures and all the plants, living on Somali soil and in Somali seas, Sheekh Shariif Axmad. In return, your lives will be spared and your treason will be forgiven. For a better Somalia. For a better tomorrow.
