No need to shoot you, you're entitled to your opinion and we won't find out till we die how right or wrong you are. That being said, we are also entitled to our opinion, which is that your opinion sucks But perhaps you could find some better targets for your criticism than some poor Palestinian women.

Questioning the Veil: Open Letters to Muslim Women
Sherban Shabeel replied to ElPunto's topic in General
Very good distinction there, and I agree with you 100%. -
I don't see what's so barbaric about nomadic culture. It is a culture which is far less harmful to our environment than so-called "civilized" established cultures.

Personally I find it disgusting that you criticize these women who have been through hell for trying to relieve their stress in a constructive manner. It's up to God to judge, not you.

Questioning the Veil: Open Letters to Muslim Women
Sherban Shabeel replied to ElPunto's topic in General
My belief is that everyone should be free to please God to the extent they can/want to. It isn't anyone's business what a grown woman does with her body and soul. You want to cover up, cover up. You want to reveal yourself, reveal yourself. That being said, life is unfair. Can you walk around WITHOUT a veil in Saudi? Nope. Can you walk around in France wearing a niqab? Nope. That's just the way it is, and perhaps we shouldn't always criticize the West as tempting as it is. Because in the West, although there is xenophobia and discrimination and hatred, there is LOTS MORE religious freedom than in some Muslim countries. As I said, the French may be a**holes but at least you can build a mosque in France. Can you build a church in Saudi? -
Maybe he has a really big...

F*ck Shabaab and all their supporters.

Also, you seem to be very out of touch with what's actually happening. "Getting hit near hills and jungles?" Haven't you heard of the suicide bombings? Haven't you heard Xamar is swarming with Shabaab fighters? Haven't you heard that AMISOM is confined to Villa Somalia and streets near K4 junction? So how could the peacekeepers get hit near jungles? You make no sense. Also, AMISOM sends "countless missiles and rockets out to civillian populated areas that certainly have nothing to do with al-shabaabs activities". FYI, Bakara market has EVERYTHING to do with Shabaab activities, and if you don't know that why talk? The AMISOM shellings have been condemned by Shariif (picture Yey condemning Ethiopian shellings, hah!) and they have been FAR LESS frequent than Shabaab shellings, which you would know if you were: a)there b)following the news. I'm confused, maybe you're being sarcastic and I missed it?

Originally posted by Allamagan: ^ no, it is you, you either say something good my friend or get the hell outta here! it is sad to read you call them heroes when you know every time these merceneries got hit by alshababs near by hills or jungles they instead send countless missiles and rockets out to civilian populated areas that happened to be far from AMISOM and certainly have nothing to do with al-shababs activities. and of course they are villains indeed..... PLEASE! We'd be here till tomorrow if I were to enumerate all the times when Shabaab lobbed mortars at the "enemies of God", and those mortars landed on houses and on Bakara market instead. Compare the number of AMISOM soldiers killed by Shabaab, with the number of Somali civilians killed by Shabaab (thru suicide bombing, aforementioned lobbing of mortars) and you will most likely throw up. Shabaab was useful when Ethiopia was there, now they have outlived their usefulness and it is time for them to either accept amnesty or be killed.

Hargeisa: Imprisoned Christian On Hunger Strike
Sherban Shabeel replied to Cowke's topic in Politics
Jamal: Christianity is not the originator of capitalism. The corrupt practices of the Catholic church may be a part of it, but in no way is money-religion a product of Jesus-religion. In fact it is an accepted fact by many Christians that Jesus was a poor man and this is supposed to remind us that virtue lies not in what a man possesses but how he interacts with those around. Cowke: The forum is a bad medium to have a debate of this magnitude, and I could spend days with you talking about Christianity and religion in general. But please remember that it is the religion of 2 billion people, including mine, and that talking about it as if it was a disease (as you did in earlier posts before I stepped in) has the potential to be very hurtful. -
Hargeisa: Imprisoned Christian On Hunger Strike
Sherban Shabeel replied to Cowke's topic in Politics
Originally posted by J11: Remember, Christian civilisation is the dominant one today and its only reasonable that the previous (Muslim) civilisation it dislodged should feel so protective. Once upon a time when a Muslim civilisation was dominant, religious tolerance and freedom was unprecendented. Christian civilisation isn't dominant today, no religion is. Money civilisation is dominant today, and it is arguable that this is a(n unholy) religion in itself. As for dominance, why do we always have to think in terms of dominance? No one needs to be dominant. Religion is not a contest. Cowke: Again, you lack basic understanding of Christianity. I suggest you look up the Archbishop of Canterbury's explanations of the Holy Trinity etc.. Yes I believe in God, yes I am Christian, and I don't see any contradictions here. -
Hargeisa: Imprisoned Christian On Hunger Strike
Sherban Shabeel replied to Cowke's topic in Politics
Cowke, you obviously know nothing of Christianity sxb. But let me ask you this: what would life be like if all these Christian states in the world had the same attitude towards Muslims that you have against Christians? You are allowed to profess your religion openly and build mosques in the UK. You can also do so in Romania. But God forbid I build a church in Somalia or Saudi. -
Hargeisa: Imprisoned Christian On Hunger Strike

So how does the law work? Are you arrested if you try to convert people to Christianity, or do you get arrested just for being a Christian? -
I just noticed they made some pretty nice updates, for instance Xamar has really good resolution now. It looks stunning. I advise you guys to give it a try. Here's a screenshot of the airport:

LMFAO the Shabaab clowns have at last been unmasked? Do the warriors of God ask women to take off their bras and shake their boobs. Btw, maybe its BS, but Reuters is 99% credible. And even if it's BS, the mere fact that people can invent stuff like this and pass it off as news gives you an idea as to how ridiculous and "fringe" Shabaab have become. A disgrace to the Somali nation.

Kismayo:General Morgan Is Back. This Time With 5000 Troops
Sherban Shabeel replied to Cowke's topic in Politics
Originally posted by General Duke: A conference of all the peoples could help I too had that idea once. Just ask everyone what they want. A conference, a census, a poll, whatever. But I'm starting to think that's a tad idealistic. Maybe the real solution is for Morgan to become President and kill 80% of the male population of Somalia. The remaining 20% would be scared sh*tless and wouldn't dare contest the President's rule.
