  2. Btw, some revenge! Egypt still isn't going to the World Cup lmfao
  3. I don't see why Algeria would be banned from the world cup. Only in your dreams, "old man ndongo" LOL Haaliche buried us. That's the problem with Algeria, they're an unstable team mentally. Something serious happens, like Haaliche giving up a penalty and getting a red, and all the dominos start to collapse.
  4. LOL @ a rampapaging demon from Abysinnia

One who is not an atheist, such as myself, will find it disgusting that you tell someone they will burn in hell with a grin on your face. Either way that remark is kinda not cool, I find. Pray for their salvation, don't hope they burn in hell.
  8. ^Running her mouth. Bint hamid, no one here has forgotten the children of Ghazza or Iraq, or Somalia. Showing love and support to another people in times of terrible tragedy, doesn't mean abandoning the people we have shown love and support to in the past. I don't know about you, but most nomads here have hearts big enough for all the suffering people (and even animals) of the world. So help me God, I do not understand you woman.

  10. A 16-year-old girl has been pulled out of the rubble in the Haitian capital, Port-au-Prince, 15 days after the earthquake struck, rescuers say. Darlene Etienne was said to be happy but dehydrated. Rescuers said she had survived by drinking water from a bath. Her rescue comes five days after Haitian government officially ended the search and rescue operation. Meanwhile President Rene Preval has said parliamentary elections due to be held on 28 February will be postponed. As many as 200,000 people died in the 12 January earthquake. More than 130 people have been pulled alive from the rubble. Bath water A rescue worker described the discovery of the teenager, two weeks after the quake destroyed the city, as a "miracle". "I don't know how she happened to resist that long," said rescue worker JP Malaganne. The 16-year-old was found in the rubble of a house near the College St Gerard, which one of her relatives said she had just started attending. Neighbours had been searching in the rubble of their homes in the central Carrefour-Feuilles district when they heard a weak voice and called rescue teams to help. They managed to locate the girl in the wreckage and less than an hour later had dug a hole to pull her out, covered in dust. Rescuer Claude Fuilla told the Associated Press news agency: "She couldn't really talk to us or say how long she'd been there but I think she'd been there since the earthquake. "I don't think she could have survived even a few more hours." Darlene was given water and oxygen before being taken to a French field hospital and medical ship. "She just said 'Thank you', she's very weak, which suggests that she's been there for 15 days," said Samuel Bernes, head of the rescue team that discovered her. He described her location within the rubble as "in a pocket, surrounded by concrete". The BBC's Karen Allen, in the Haitian capital, said that rescue workers had told her the teenager was trapped in the bathroom when the quake struck and was able to survive by drinking water from a bath. On Tuesday, rescuers discovered a 31-year-old man who had been trapped for 12 days after being caught in one of the numerous aftershocks that rocked the city after the earthquake. In announcing the election delay, Mr Preval said he would not seek to remain in office beyond the end of his term in February 2011. He added: "I don't think the time is right to hold elections now given the conditions in which people are living." (BBC NEWS) So, bint hamid, this is obviously a miracle. Which means God is showing compassion to the Haitian people. So why shouldn't we?
  11. Can someone call satan on the phone? I think we have a straggler here.
  12. Here's a nifty little visual description of various styles of headscarves. Gotta love the BBC! http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/shared/spl/hi/pop_ups/05/europe_muslim_veils/html/1.stm
  13. Laba-X, with all due respect, can you please answer my question above?
  14. I don't agree with the motivations behind this ban, I don't agree with the ban on wearing the full veil on public transport. But I do agree that women should show their face at the bank, at the airport, and anywhere else where it is necessary to show your face. If it was up to me, I'd say, wear it on the street, wear it wherever you like, but show your face in situations when that would be required. If they banned hiding your face in Montreal, my alter-ego the Snow Touareg would die.
  15. A French parliamentary committee has recommended a partial ban on women wearing Islamic face veils. The committee's near 200-page report has proposed a ban in hospitals, schools, government offices and on public transport. It also recommends that anyone showing visible signs of "radical religious practice" should be refused residence cards and citizenship. The interior ministry says just 1,900 women in France wear the full veils. (BBC News) In its report, the committee said requiring women to cover their faces was against the French republican principles of secularism and equality. "The wearing of the full veil is a challenge to our republic. This is unacceptable. We must condemn this excess," the report said. The commission called on parliament to adopt a formal resolution stating that the face veil was "contrary to the values of the republic" and proclaiming that "all of France is saying 'no' to the full veil". Presenting the report to the French National Assembly, speaker Bernard Accoyer said the face veil had too many negative connotations. "It is the symbol of the repression of women, and... of extremist fundamentalism. "This divisive approach is a denial of the equality between men and women and a rejection of co-existence side-by-side, without which our republic is nothing." The report is expected to be followed by the drafting of a bill and a parliamentary debate on the issue. The BBC's Hugh Schofield, in Paris, says the reasoning behind the report is to make it as impractical as possible for women in face veils to go about their daily business. There is also a fear that an outright ban would not only be difficult to implement but would be distasteful and could make France a target for terrorism, our correspondent says. France has an estimated five million Muslims - the largest such population in Western Europe. Months of debate The report follows months of public debate, including President Nicolas Sarkozy's intervention, saying all-encompassing veils were "not welcome in France". However, he did not explicitly call for a ban, saying "no-one should feel stigmatised" by any eventual law. Opinion polls suggest a majority of French people support a full ban. However, the parliamentary deputies have recommended that - for now - restrictions should be limited. The committee suggests a ban inside public buildings, with those who defy the ban denied whatever services are on offer there - for example state benefits. There are several types of headscarves and veils for Muslim women - those that cover the face being the niqab and the burka. In France, the niqab is the version most commonly worn. The niqab usually leaves the eyes clear. It is worn with an accompanying headscarf and sometimes a separate eye veil. The burka covers the entire face and body with just a mesh screen to see through. The issue has divided France's political parties. The Socialist opposition has come out officially against a ban, saying it would be difficult to enforce. It says it is opposed to full veils in principle, but some members have expressed fears about any ruling that could stigmatise Muslim women. Meanwhile, the head of Mr Sarkozy's right-wing UMP party has already presented a bill in parliament supporting a full ban on grounds of security.

No one is attacking you but we are merely trying to educate you so you may fit into both our cultural and religious aspects when discussion information.
