See we look at ourselves as "somalians" but do u seriously believe that these white people don't put us in the "Black" or "African American" category????? Half of them don't even know where somalia is...if Africa hit them in the face. And not only white's but Afro-Americans also believe that. I remember one time this black girl and a somali girl in one of my class had an argument. The black girl was saying that we Somalians are Afro-Americans too but for the fact that we live in the US and that were Africans which now qualifies us African Americans. And then Somali girls repsonse was that they use Afro-Americans in the US just for the propose of not saying "children of the African slaves" which I personally agree with. But these people regardless of what, they see u as "African American". But on a side note that was a nice article. That black men made me feel good. But he should have add one thing. That rich black men marry white women to show that their now high in society and they can get the "white corporate men's women".

Like Shyhem said I don't know what it is about Eid day...but as soon as I get back home from pray I head straight to bed...and don't wake up until that night. And I do have to agree with illmatic and section6er on this topic. I think it's perfectly okay to go out that night to a ruwaayad/party. I mean how can u go out other times (ex.New Year's) and not this time? That doesn't justify anything..ur gonna be doing the same thing. What do u guys wanna go after Eid? I mean if that's the situation...there are some Ruwaayads that they proposly set it on a day Eid wouldn't fall on. I just don't get it

Yeah Chris Rocks voice is annoying...but he has very creative work. U can think someone's funny and can't stand there voice at the same time. For example, Chris Tucker...funny...but i can't stand his voice. But for sure no one can beat Bernie Mac. And I heard that Chis Rock and Bernie Mac are doing a tour around the U.S. togehter...somewhat like the "Kings of Comedy".

I don't know who in here likes Comedies or hates it...but if there wasn't any comedians on television there's no point in watching t.v. But I just wanted to know who your fav was...if u had any.
