Three leaders that I do admire in Muslim world All the nomads can add this list their admired leader, for me those are my team that I thought led their nation in progressively way of live , I have my reason to admire them whether the other nomads agree with me is another matter Any way t=here are my leaders : 1-Mohamed khatami of Iran. 2-Mahathir Mohamed of Malaysia 3- Alija izetbegovic of Bosnia for Mohamed khatami firstly I think he played very important role of bring Iran into international stage. Iran that was isolated country before his presidency. As a moderator he carefully constructed relation with almost all Arab nations who before he became president had bad diplomatic relation with Iran. Iran is now a very respected country in Arab and Muslim world Secondly he manage to develop the country in both economy and military which I think is very momentous for Iran’s security As for mahathir Mohamed this is the hero of his nation ,a man that got Malaysia out of poverty to the glorious modern country ,a man who recon ciliated between the ethnic groups who before his takeover were very chaos a man who unlike his counterparts in Muslim leader achieved total love of his people. A man that clearly and openly oppose American’s and Israeli’s aggression against brethren nation. alija izetbegovic may best be known as the president who single-mindedly strugled for just end to the conflict which ravaged his country in the 1990s.he tiredlessly campaignned for justice at homeand abroad.he is the reviver of forgetten moslim country in heart of europe.he stood firm agaist serbian aggression in bosnia,he never surrended,he strugled so hard,he built a muslim nation,a democratic country.he died just few weeks ago may God pless him he was recognise as the father of bosnia. we need a men like those.only leaders like those can lead their nation to prosperity and good live.

Originally posted by Beerlula: interesting topic. Obviously, most votes seem to go to the Sayid. It just proves that what we lack is great Somalis. As much I applaud the Sayid?s fight against the gaalo, I don?t think he should be glamorized nor categorized as being a good muslim. The man among other things ruthlessly killed thousands of Somalis, looted poor families to further his cause. Most of his poetry is based on clanism and is very degrading. Certianly not very Islamic As for Ahmed Guray, Ethiopians claim that he is Ethiopian and is recorded in all their history books as Ahmed Gran. sayis maxamed c/hasan had fought agaist colonial masters in somali, his primary objective was to free the somali people from the blood sucker,of brithish and italians.and in situation like this one must be quite ready for all obstacles which could be layed down by agressors or their stooges.it is very painfull situation when ur somalibrother want u to be killed, all somalis were not with sayid's idea of liberation.obviously some were agaist it.now what is best way to deal with people who openly oppose and even fights the liberators(sayid's darawish) there are two options 1- negociation, 2- fight i wouldn't rule out that sayid many time tried to persuade his opponanet with talks .but obviously did not work and only option left was to fight them, which i think was approriate. by the way do we consider those who were agaist the liiberation of somali as good musllims if we do not consider sayid and his folowers as mujjahideen and liberators? as far as ahmed Gurey is concern i would recommende u to read abook about the history of somali galbeed by the name: taxfatul al-awfiyaaa

are you a traditional girl or modern superwoman?
sayfulaah-almasluul replied to dawoco's topic in General
oh traditionlist!!!!!!!!!!!my God i would have advise all somali women to be modern superwomen.the reason being that modern women can in one way or other help somali society.and for clarification what i mean by modern superwomen is to have the capability to take the challenge b it economic challlenges, politicall or even social challenges.an educated women and men can create the best society.the idea of women to remain confine in their houses is i think discouragement for women to take their role in the society.but i must addmit that some people think being a modern women means acting like westners, hey the modern women we need is one follows the steps of fatima bintu rasul(p.b.u. them all) that who put all her efforts to raise hasan and husein the leader of muslims in every field be it education be it taqwa,or even leadership, that women who devoted all her llife to serve for the best of all muslims, that woman who tiredlessly preached and corrected the the behaviours of millions of muslims through her effort of showing good examples.we need woman like khaldiija bintu khuweyla who despite the diffculites stood with all her support with prophet p.b.u.h who also spent her entire whealth and her strenghth to spread the islam.that is what we want to seee in our sisters to be like.we don't want our sister to be like madonna who allher ambtion is to be rich,i can confidently say that is equally ordered muslims be it women or men to seek education prophet says in hadith itis obligation upon all muslims to seek education aw kama qala. that is clear hadith no one can tell us that women shouldn't seek education or they shouldn't envolve or take part the development of a society. men and women in my view share equal responsiblity towards the society.they play difrent roles but doen't mean one of them take more responsibility than other.they are as somali say goes gacmo wadajir ayey wax ku gooyaan -
after i read the article i can only say these few words about it.whatever the intention of the writter, and regardless of his view about wahabism,or to be more pericse the saudization ,i can say that the measure taken by the ulema was apropraite cuz if we do not give the people who make that kind of mistake the chance to think again then we are jumbing over the islamic wisdon.islam is always against quick chargement.for example islam doesn't allow or permit one to report if he saw two people doing fornication, why cuz that will result either the death of the two or the sever slash depend on their marriage status. one thing else ought to be look at is the deffrence between a culture and relligione, religone is not some one can just decised it is rather teachings and guidance we follow.diffrent interpretion of quaran doesn't mean that islam are diffrent,no it rather indicates diffrent cultures of the translators.one more point that i would like to add to is that some people always argues about our islam today and the islam of 7th century!!!!!!!i rally find this kind of arguemnt meaningless, cuz we have to understand that islam is the last religone which absolutely suitable for all centuries for everywhere,in short for every generation.but one thing we can't ignore is tha fac t that we live very diffrent world from the one prophet and his conpaions lived, the technology, the advaced scientific discoveries are one main factor make our world diffrent from 7th century, the challenge are not comparable in terms of division between moslims and the power of it's enemy.were shia and sunis there at the time of prophet mohamed(p.b.u.h)? were the wahabism and ash'ariya there?i think we have to fight in two fronts (a) unifying among moslims, and (B) defending our islam from the it's enemy.these two front require from us deep concentration and focus and please leaving argument behind us.
-
i think is very hard chargement to charge that one in uu xerada islamka kabaxay unless u have very strong evidence for that.what i mean by that is nothing can make aperson out of islam unless he/she intentionally make decision of that,(nacuudubilahi min thaalika ) but stopping prayer will not make one out of islam unless he believes that prayer is not islamically appropriatte, it is, however, very big sin to leave the prayer.but in case that happen what one should do is to ask God forgivness and repent all the prayers he left.that is if he can remember all of them otherwise he should do good deeds.

SomaliLand Must Comply with the New Somalian Government!!!
sayfulaah-almasluul replied to Paltalk's topic in Politics
paltalk i do not know really what u are trying to say to us,on one hand u are truely telling us that there are many challenges that we need to confront with great focus and courage, and on the other hand u are telling us that somaliland will face millitry force from none-existing power in somalia if somaliland do not comply what u called new somali goverment now what i want to ask u is where is the so callednew somali goverment? yes absolutely there many challenge ahead of us all,we need to consantrate on somalliweyn issue but when is that?is it now when there are so many somali warlord everyone to grape the power?do we realy need to send signalls of threats to our somaliland brothers?do we(southners)even entittle to tell somaliland to do better while we are in chaos and mess?who are we to tell or advise somaliland or putland ?is't it shame southners to suggest anykind peace agrement with somaliland before we form a stable goverment in the south. how can we run to putoff fire on other's house while our own is on fire?why are we not taking the challenges to those who prolonging somali proplems?why are we not in position to say that if somali warlord do not comply with somali peace initiative the consequence will be sever and unpleasnat? i think we disprately require to show wellcoming attitude and greatfullness to somaliland cuz they successfully formed stable goverment and they are not in any way comparable with southner choastis.we need to encourage somalilander to play central role for bringing somalis togethers, not threating them. afteral they need somalis as much as the rest of somalis need them,we are one part that can't be divided, great somali must be our goal they say nothing happens unless there is a dream first i pray God to bring our people together with peace and harmony. amiiiin -
Originally posted by Gediid: Ladiif History can be misleading if misinterpreted by the wrong people. In this case 21 years of kacaan has left behind a nation brainwashed by loopsided history, made brutal murderers into national heroes and real heroes into traitors. The Sayid I believe is a prime example. He went on a rampage and in the process killed more innocent Somalis than the Italians, British and Ethiopians combined. Some were killed beacause of who they were and others for their property.A very few others beacuse they worked for the colonial powers.Honestly he was no Sayid or sheikh but he has 21 years of kacaan to be thankful for that. Thanks everyone look at the history from one angle and that is so natural.it is the nature of human bein not to aggree on one thing, however the idea that siyaad did mislead the somali history is in absolute false, siyaad did not and could't mislead the history,we all know that sayid have some opposition who did not supported his ideas but that does not make him killer as some of you put it!!!!!!it is absolute inevitable suation, his great jihad would have been in choas had he not dealt with those who oppose his leadership.people can be persuaded in diffrent ways and sayid did tried to persuade his opposers by negotiation but coul't make agreement cuz they were so greedy and stooges of colonial power that they thought that will never go away!!!!!!!!all those of u who think he was on wrong way must read and study his poems. there is no way we can put sayid or compare him with mass murderers.like all somali warlords.

Originally posted by Man Of Freedom: Sayfulaah.. It is not my desire to be harsh on the So called "somaliland". but I do believe that if they remain to defy our demands there will be severe consequence. Somaliland has two choices they either comply with the rest of Somalia or they face the consequences. Somaliland should also learn lessons from it's past mistakes when Siad Bare was on power. hey paltalk i think u are talking about dreams may not become even into a reality.cuz the somali u are taalking about doesnot even exist!!!my God where is somali that can make somaliland comply the rules,i wonder do u realy meant it or u are joking?although i am bro somali weyn but what i can see is two diffrent states that we can't compare.somaliland a state with all constitutions and civil societies,so where is somalia u are talking about is it muqdishu or kismayo?there is somali proverb which means do not try to help other while ur house is burning.exactly somalis need (south_)to make peace and form goverment before they demand somali to join them. -
i wonder ifi can see what is nomads' view about somali language written in latinic letters not arabic, what effect did that has in our relation to arabi world?would somalia be better relation with arab world, had we written our language in arabic letters? why did somali goverment prefered latin than arabic which infact was the languages of somali people before and after colonial powers? have the somalis achieved any thing by changing their language from arabic to latinic?(i mean the using the latinc letters rather thatn arabic)or we lost alot.

well i think there is no doubt about somali having a culture i mean that so obvious, what i think we need to know is what is our special, specific cultures that makes us diffrent from the others?somali have very strong relations with their african and arab neighbours, and there is clear evedience that somali do share some african cultures though not as strong as that one we share with arabs.i say simbly cuz cultures as has been deffined by others isThe totality of socially transmitted behavior patterns, arts, beliefs, institutions, and all other products of human work and thoughtsomali behavious and belives are based on that of islam i do not deny one moment that alot somali behaviours and beleife are unislamic however the most social, beleifes and behavours are based our islamic relligione,so yes we do have cultures which i think wwe should be proud of it

Nobel Peace Prize award to a moslem lady
sayfulaah-almasluul replied to rudy-Diiriye's topic in General
you tell hommies! that is exactly what this lady was fighting for! clergies in Iran using culture/islam to suppress not only women but the human rights fo the country, while they were basking in an orgy of marrying 14 yr old gals and living large!!!... hey rudy that is not true!!!!! that absolutely false allegetion made by westerners to draw the international attention to iran, a country survived the illegal sanction that being posed by america and it's allys.a country did well in terms of economy and even millitraly despite the harsh sanction. remember this rudy that iran has more women in their parlamenty than u.k.why?is it that iranian women like politics more than u.k women? i doubt it !!!!!in addtion to that let just examine there are two women who are president in the muslim world.who are magowetti and bangaldesh's president.now can u tell me where u can find in europe or america where president is a woman? i do not deny one moment that we need to improve the involvement and parcitpating of women in developening our societies, which is very vital.bytheway we are in world where we should respect the cultures of others, westerners must not pose their will and ill-cultures to our well-preserved cultures.why do they choose only the topics like women?what they want is to see girls display their peauty like their's.that is the main ain of the campaing. beawre of blot guys -
Nobel Peace Prize award to a moslem lady
sayfulaah-almasluul replied to rudy-Diiriye's topic in General
nobel prize?oh my God who won it?she is the third musslim won this prize,do u know who are other two?anwar sadad the former dictator of egypty, and yasir arafat the authotrian leader of palestine.those are the people they awarded the precious prize.but why?is't there anyone else desrve to be awarded in the muslim world?we have to be realistic and aware of motives that sorounding all this.and now the one question that i think is worth asking is why her?did she achieve anything remarkable?westerners are very clevers and they know the weak point of muslims. islam as a religone has granted every right to women.women and men are equall in infront of God.their role in the society and develoment of their communities may be diffrent. i am asking what is the is right that islam denied from the women? and there is one important thing that we must all remember which is we should separate between islam and cultures, this is very important cuz many think that cultures of some muslim communities as islamic culture.that is absolutely wrong.for example the somali culture of circumsion is against islam.so why some people critsice islam as religone that opress women while we all know that islam made compulsory for men to be circumcise but not women. -
what i found in this topic is wonderfull bros and sis each trying to clearfy his/her opnion on this matter, that is Good,it i hope will increase the chance one to read and do researches in religione, however it is very important one to be very carefull when talking anything about religone,we must only talk about what we sure, one can say his/her opnion about anything but must make it clear that is his/her opnion not religone,to come back to heart of this matter it very clear in holy qoran that muslim women are obligated to wear hijab.what kind of clothes and how do they wear it is a matter of a culture not religione.i mean somali muslim women can use her guntiina as hijab while afghani muslim women can use their local clothe as their hijab.which parts of women's body should be covered?well there are deffrent veiws about this.and again these views goes back to cultures, having said that there is one main thing that all scholars do agree upon which is that muslim women should cover all body except face and hands, and that seems to me the fair views. jazakumulahu khayr

is islam compatable with western pluralism
sayfulaah-almasluul replied to sayfulaah-almasluul's topic in General
Originally posted by Khayr: Define by what you mean by PLURALISM???? thanx khayr for asking more defination of pluralism.what i mean by pluralims is flexiblity of a religione, system or cultures to have the tolarence for co-existance with all other cultures, systems and religinoes -
to many western seems they consider islam as old culture that can't go along with the so called the openess or pluralism of western society,is that true?to me islam is very open and peace religioun that wellcomes everything Good'no matter where or who practice that goodnes.in a hadith prophet p.b.u.h. said (the wisdon or knowledge is muslims's lost he takes wherever he find it)which means muslim can practice any good cultures as long it doesn't contradict islamic teachings. can other religiouns co-exist with islam? anyone who study the history of prophet mohamed(p.b.u.h.)can clearly say yes islam can co-exist iwth all religiouns.for instance prophet(p.bu.h.)did stated that in his first treaty in madina(sahiiftul madina)in this treaty he gave all jews and christain the right to live and practice their religioun, furthermore he recongnised all the poeple in madina as one nation including jews and christain, it was only after they declared on upon him that he took the decison to remove them from madina and khybar.many wrongly believe that islam is religioun of swords and fight, religioune of violant.is that true?is jihad for conquest of land or expansion of tritory?when jihad can be conducted? can anyone do it?what is the condition for jihad?these are some of the questions we need to accurately answer.to me i beleive islam is not religioune of sword rather is is religooun of peace, religone that calls for love between humanty regardless of race, culture or even class.it is the religione that had in past brothered ali binu abii talib an arab and bilaal a ethiopina or somali, islam disaprove violence, jihad is not for conquest of land but rather defence purposes, there two main condition for jihad: 1- if one country refuse islam to be spread in it's society then the imaam of muslim has right to give sharp warning to the leader of that particular country. 2- if any power invade muslim country or part of muslim country the it is the duty of muslim leader to decalre jihad. in both case jihad is for defence purpose. brothers and sisters can contributemore

are we not sick and tired of false speechs. it is been so long since mr bush and his friend blair claimed that iraq posed very immediate threat to united state and uk, they took action against acountry tha t they accused of posessing weapon of mass destruction now since they tried they best to find the smoking gun but return empty-handed all time. what was the reall agenda behind the attack of iraq? was it becuase of security reason? or there was something else going on behind the scence? was there any link between iraq dictatorial regime and so-called al-qaeda? what is the main evidence for that if any?was there any that irraq could do to delay the attack? these are some question which requires an accurate and straight answers.there is nothing that can justfy to attack any country in world without clear mandate from united nation that that particular country pose danger to the security of the world. as we know the was no united nation resolution to disarm saddam's regime by force.the majority of the security councill members were against the attack.however Bush and blair insisted attcking iraq even though warned by their intellengence community that war on iraq may increase the insecurity of the world.so what was the agenda behind the attack? as we all know bush has very strong ties with jewish lobby in u.s.a who in their part played very significant role in the preparation of the war and making the case for it. one thing which i think was bushing bush to this deadly war was his view and believes that there are bad and good and that u.s.arepresent the good in this world and saddam and so called terror groups represent the evile in this world.;and that is one thing that Bush and Blair are in common. the second thing is that they want the christainisation of arab world and exportation of american cultures to rest of the world especially arab world, there are tens of christain organisations in iraq currently,their main aim is to grap as many people as possiple to christainity,that is what one of them said:we will not only provide clothes and food only but with bible and christain teachings, this explains the reall intention of american insistance to invade iraq,it is painfull and absolutely unacceptable;

what a senseless debate going on here!!!!! do we reaaly prefer one warlord from the others? what a shame !!!!!!!!!!!.i though we had enough to say no to all the ruthless murders, who are clearly guilty of civil war that claimed the lives of thousands of somali innocent civilians.how dare are we to preefer,to even show them kind words,it is unbelievable when are we going to realize the reality?when are we to be realistics?is't enough what we had already?are we not feeling for the innocent people?or we are just saying what we like regardless of how that may effect the people that may read.i know most of the nomads who writtes for this are abroad, and undoutdedly they have enough peace at least  mind what u say guys
