^am not a nutritionist or anytihng like that. I've always paid attention to health matters but now am learning actively. I might train in healing using nature though. You're 28% fat, that's not too bad, just reduce by a few percentages. Get a gadget that can monitor your progress; it may not be accurate but used consistently you can at least see your changes going in the right direction. What did they say about the ankle?

^DD, I was deling with other things then. Trust me there's always something I'm up to LoL. The salt has got to be reduced. Don't add it to food while cooking. Add it to the portion you are consuming when it's on your plate, you will eat less of it that way; use the same technique for lemon, lime. Try soy sauce. Excessive salt, especially the processed salt we eat can make you retain water and increase chances of high blood pressure. The fewer packaged food you consume, the less salt you will end up eating. Urban, you are on a low carb and low fat diet. No wonder you are hungry. Introduce a little more of one of the above on your workout days and monitor impact. Bet you're not as hungry at the weekend. Also, more fibre, it'll help you feel fuller- add ground flax seeds to your shakes or yoghurt.

It's a whole new way of thinking so will need some 'courage' lol to eat FAT and resist cravings. 50 gram is quite restrictive so it's out with bread, pasta, rice, veggies like carrots, potatoes, fruits, oats. Here's a chart, eat more from the bottom of the pyramid. pyramid I ate eggs, meat, fish, chicken, cheese, lots of greens and used olive oil, coconut oil and butter to cook with. I'll look for some links. Half a cup of cooked porridge is 10 grams of carb, a pitta bread is 25 grams so you can see how easy it would be to consume 50grams first thing in the morning and be stuck.

^LOL. I stood on one leg for 20 minutes thinking it's too embarrassing to call an abulance for an ankle. I grabbed a guy finally and he helped me into a coffe shop where I asked for ice and left them with a huge puddle an hour later. Walked all day thinking, bah, see I am alright. Next morning, oh-oh, couldn't even unbend leg. Waited one more day so I could be sure I was in a bad state. Nutter. Get well.

^miskiin. I went to A&E lol 2 days later as I had screwed up my knee at the same time. The whole leg was useless, both knee and ankle swollen and unrecoginsable. Later my hip started hurting as I was compensating for the ankle and knee. Ice pack helps a great deal. A bag of frozen pease from the freezer works too.

Snacks don't have to be junk food. The yoghurt is yet more carbs. You're on a low fat eating plan. Don't reduce your carb intake. You have to do one or the other. You were curious about low carb eating; is it do with weight loss or something else? You can't stick with how you eat and incorporate my tips. You will become sick or your metabolism will slow down. It's either lower carb or lower fat.
