Firstly, we British wallahs would read the title of your post as, 'I am drunk again!!!!'. Secondly, how is your state of agitation relevant to the Camel Milk Debate? Is this up for intellectual debate or are u just blowing off steam? Thirdly, keep it down, will ya?

Element, you're a newbie. Let me introduce the weird and wonderful world of Ngonge's stream of unconciousness, I mean conciousness. Or do I? Ngonge's SOL Blog

FF, but u must persist- you're missing so much. Get that book back from the library this instance! Alright, so it wasn't to your taste. I read both P&P and Jane Eyre the summer I turned 15. Sigh. What a summer it was. Books had my attention, boys stood no chance. Some things don't change.

Element, it looks good. Didn't have the time to go through it all though. Ngonge, you are the Blog Master. I can't believe you haven't had a blog until now. I once met a lecturer at the University of Hawaii who teaches students how to write. Needless to say I was interested to hear what he had to say. He told me about his blog site and days later when I tapped the URL into the address bar, I was very surprised to find.. Just as I had made my decision, I almost ran into a young black lady who was covered up almost from head to toe in the Muslim style. I could see her face and she seemed to be looking down. Our eyes met for a second and out of my mouth popped, “Where are you from?†Her name was Sheherazade, I was to find out later, and she said, “From East Africa – Somalia.†and... We continued to walk and came to the group of four cafes and decided to have a seat. I had a Sprite and Sheherazade had a Coke. We spent the next several hours discussing many things. During this time we got quite a few stares and some who actually seemed to be studying us. and.. I told her, “Each of us has our story, and it is real to us – and why it should bother anyone else is beyond me.†She agreed. and.. We also discussed writing at length. Sheherazade likes to write and one of her projects is keeping her friends informed of her experiences. I would like to read her entries. They must be very interesting. I told her about this blog and she said that she might consider doing one. And so I did. The problem with blogs is that you never know when u'll appear on another's blog.

Thanks, sis. If I'm ever in Kuwait, I'll look you up and bore you with my stories. You'll have to tell the Sabah family to move over cause Sheherazade's coming to town. Hohoho. God, I'm high on coffee..and it feels good. Anyone got any non-waasta ways of gaining employment in Dubai?

It matters to me. I really don't want to spend my life being bored by a man. Ãt doesn't matter if it's different things that interest him so long as he expresses his opinions and thoughts without sending me to sleep or expecting me to take on board his way of seeing the world. I don't believe higher education necessarily breeds thinkers. U either are one or you aren't. U either want to spend your life with one or you don't. LOL, Xoogsade, by being yourself. Someone will take notice, don't u fret.

Roll out the red carpet and have the jet on stand-by. Sheherazade belongs in the desert and the people have waited long enough for her return.

I have one too but it's strictly for close friends. I don't like the whole world knowing what I'm up to. Element 6, is your blog a secret too? I've spent many a work minute reading blogs. I set mine up mainly as a way to keep writing, anything goes as long as I'm flexing the writing muscles. Here's a snippet: Vivid dreams ...I woke up laughing hysterically. A huge tough bloke had stared at me at this party and I'd asked him what he was looking at. Nothing he'd drawled in a Southern US accent, nothing's my middle name. Your mother must have thought much of u to call u nothing I replied and descended into hysterics. He followed me. I woke up while trying to explain to another man that the big guy wanted to hurt me. I was bent over double, laughing hard. The laughter woke me...I'm starting to worry about my subconcious.

Classique, OG-Girl, now you both know there's no waasta like a Khaleeji waasta so get started! I want results and I want them fast. Does one have to be an Arab-hater to be disappointed in seeing an expensive needle in the sky? We've been told what that represents...shiver. Classique, are you in Dubai? I'm going to be there some time next year. Would love to meet you. A job wouldn't be bad either. Get busy, girlfriend. Waasta fooq al qeynuun and all that.

Alle-ubaahne, I was encouraging you to be more positive in your approach. I think you are enjoying being the centre of attention. If you were at least working with what was being posted by the others rather than crying victim you'd deserve some more attention and advice. It's all a joke to you. I'm sure others have benefited from all that has been contributed.

Need Advice ...anyone here broken a limb before?.

I love stories but I'll pass if I have to give u a hola. This lady doesn't hola. Get well. -
Alle-ubaahne, there should be no jokes when u're discussing our faith. A sense of humour, maybe, but jokes, no. I don't know what your intention is but let me tell you, you are coming across as ignorant of our faith. And I'm not speaking of knowledge per se. Knowledge means nothing if it is not applied. A man who applies the little that he knows is a better man than the one who knows more but hasn't allowed it to reach his heart and his action. To love our Islam is to live for it and live by it by example. A Prophet was advised to be kind to Pharoah when advising him, to Pharoah of all people!! Reflect. Mentioning a woman's avatar and making judgements about her hijab or lack of it is not just none of your business but downright danb. Work with what you know and concerns you when u're advising, not what might be. Random advice-giving makes you look like a fool. Are you here to annoy and stir emotions? If so, we'll ignore your rants or you'll get banned soon enough. If you have good intentions, please change your approach. The majority are finding you difficult, there's nothing special about you that you'll assume u're right and the rest of us are wrong. Is there? I'm sick, sick, sick, sick of hearing some Muslims speak with knived tongues and explosive breaths. There is a time and place for defending our faith with a sword and it belongs in the battlefield. And even when u find yourself there, you may not take another's life in anger or for your own personal satisfaction. The Chrisians are all over the globe, spreading the message of their tampered Book. We Muslims have too many fire-breathing men representing us. What non-Muslim would want to be within searing distance of such a man? What chance Dacwah to non-Muslims or Muslims themselves if we're after point-scoring and arguing when what's clear is blatanly ignored and un-applied? Look what the French and the English are up to. They want to dictate what our diin-educators tell us and monitor it right under our noses. It is at times like this that we get on the offensive(not with the sword) and defend our right to practise our faith. Are we? Or are we sitting around condemning non-Believers with our tongues and sitting on our hands? Protecting Islam is not done for our benefit but for Allah so do as Allah wishes with compassion and kindness, Alle-ubaahne. Live by your acquired knowledge- however limited or vast and you will have no time to judge or condemn another man. Again, brother, if your intention is to speak for Islam, use a beautiful voice. Too many of us ignore our faith and I hate to see one that has energy and desire use it in a not-so positive manner. Good manners are the best adornment a man can have. See you around. Behave now.

No it doesn't! I knew it would be painful! What kind of pain was it: dull, sharp, throbbing, shooting, a combination? Also, how does it make u feel? Are u feeling sorry for yourself? Do u feel pathetic? Did u cry? Are u being fussed over, being thrown pitying glances, getting a helping hand... tell me more dammit... pant pant pant -
Cheers. I was not freaking out. It takes a lot to freak me out. I was being overly-dramatic. Gotchya.

sheherazade replied to MR ORGILAQE's topic in General
Orgilaqe, get well soon. I used to long for a broken limb as a kid so I'd know what it felt like. I never got to find out, alhamdullilah. It's perverse, I know. Get better soon, inshallah. psst.. so what does it feel like? -
Consuming an excess of calories is as unnatural as starving yourself. Stick with the gym, eat well and in proportion to your appetite and you'll look fit and healthy. Whatever u do don't end up like one of those guys that walk around looking like an aeroplane because their biceps are so large their arms can't hang by their sides naturally. Eew.

The end of the world is nigh. I don't see the point of pumping so much money into a giant needle.

Sure, I'll be waiting with an AK forty-seven. U can have your brownie points then. That was a bad joke. I'm losing it. Don't talk about back doors with a stalked woman!! Give the men their own section already!!
-
I only offer discounts to those that don't need them. That way I don't lose money. Get it? Brownie points you can strive for- and die trying cause I don't give those babies out.
