75%?? How do you put a statistic to something like this? Just by saying yes or no the woman has a 75% say in it? And how come the man is the only one who wants it all the time? Get real. And off the moral high horse while u're at it.

Fave Beauty Tip and Fave Product Chinese Whisper Game!
sheherazade replied to Moth_To_A_Flame's topic in General
Tip1: if u want to do wonders for your skin, head for the kitchen where you'll find water from the tap. Tip 2: put together oats, honey and yoghurt to form a face mask. Keep the consistency sludge-like then slap it on(in a manner of speaking). When it drys, rub it into yr face gently- exfoliation- and then rinse away. Works wonders. U'll smell like muesli but it's worth it. Product: I second Ameenah on this one: Vaseline. Which ever handbag I take(if not, coat pocket) I take my handy-sized vaseline. Keeps lips in good nick as the skin on lips does not produce oil. Vaseline can also be used with makeup- on the lids, cheeks and lips but not all at once or u'll reflect and hurt the beholder's eyes. ..and that was post No 500. Hoooogeeeey. -
^hehe. If I can't benefit from it I must get involved some other way. Be the meani Teach. on the island. Grrr.

errm, and whom are these damaged women getting their groove on with? Other women? If men faced the same social dilemma after they'd done the deed/damaging they'd ALL be lining up to get re-enhanced since they're so preoccupied with junior. Too funny. I'll go to the camp. Car ka ii raaca. Hehe.

Defining Google (Business-minded geeks' success story)
sheherazade replied to Baashi's topic in General
Completely, totally and utterly, I would actively employ Somalis; even if I have to break the land's laws. And look for Somalis to create networks with too. Have u seen how the Asians flourish? They look out for one another! I'll look up Linkedin. Thanks. I'm not worried about failure, bro. I've experienced that before. I'm worried about having the potential and wasting it. I'm taking my time but doing something small all the time- to keep the momentum going. Like Checkmate said, il xaraka baraka. -

Bro, I stopped saying that because one day never came. Now I say I am, I am and the fact that people around me know about my plans(to some extent) embarasses me into pulling my finger out. It helps that a friend of mine is setting up a business- she's much further down the road than I am and is doing something completely different. I'm helping her out. Well, actually she's paying me for one particular service I'm providing her(discounted) . I mentioned a couple of things in passing to her the other night and it turns out she may have a few leads for me. Well, what do you know. Tomorrow I start the market research. It's tiring holding down a day job and getting home to work some more. BUT I'm sick of working for somebody else!! I have to say I am having a lot of moral support from family and friends. It seems they believe in me more than I do in myself. Can't let them down, can I? My dad wants me to tackle Somalia(oops Somaliland) but that feels like too much of a leap for me. That's my current 'one day'. Just do it. Get the ball rolling. Talk to people; it's amazing what u can envisage once u keep yr eyes and ears open to business. Go on..... -
bit scared of going 'home' though.

dates count for jack. Did anyone watch the BBC2 programme last night? Totally dug Somaliland. Totally. People just getting on with it. I want to be a part of it. But do I have a right? There isn't going to be another time like the one we're in. Opportunity awaits for those who return or go for the first time. I fancy turning Burco into a bustling metropolis.

is that what they call them in Swansea?

Right, it's over then. Can kick the boys off the coach and watch the news-will watch the only goal then. I heard an agonising scream very early on(Liverpool goal?) and a deathly moan right near the end(missed Chelsea opportunity?). Someone will be in a foul mood; best keep out of his way. For the next week. I supported Liverpool once. For all times sake- whoopee. Chelsea are starting to get on my nerves. They're my new Man U and that's saying something. Eeew.
