  1. I'll tell you what I want, what I really, really want...I wanna.. and cry and ashley found at Berties and a Paddington bag, any colour-at Lush I'm watching a few items on ebay now. I think my mother would like.. ..waiting...
  2. Don't you think it's time we had a dedicated fashion thread? I'll put it here since we women are more preoccupied with fashion than the blokes(and it shows hehe). Sooo, yummy, let's get going. Anything goes, the more constructive the better though. If u have links, shops, looks to recommend, do so. If you have a wish-list, a drool(slurp) for something but it's beyond your budget ask and maybe someone who's seen a cheaper alternative can help- state your earthly location please. If you know of a SALE, discount or offer DO share. And last but not least, buy wisely and you'll feel and look fabulous, dahlings. If you are a shopaholic, this is the place to be and not to be all at once. U're welcome and I'm sorry.
  3. 'Witness will be what its title implies - a programme of first-hand account. No academics, no commentators unless they are themselves Witnesses.' Ngonge would make a good witness.

  9. Caano, do I look like a smell-wh*re? War bax. Blessed, in dhaweedba udgoonkaagaan ka duumanayey. Ax, ha ii soo dhawaan, qalbigii iyo beerkii iyo meelihi kale uu jaceylku ka gali jirey dadka ayaa i danqanaya....swwooonnnnn. BTW, this V palava does have its benefits. They're selling perfume gift boxes and as I've been on the look-out for new smells, this is marvellous timing. Once the Ving day has gone, they're sure to put the gift boxes on sale. And there's nothing like a nice-smelling discount. Xaaaax.

  12. ^if I tell u my postcode can u tell me my street? Off the top of your head now.. CW, what the fyp is fyp? Final Year Project? If that's it, I nearly lost my self when I was working on mine. The alarm woke me one morning and my mind was entirely blank. Freakiest thing ever. I couldn't pull out a single fact. I rummaged round for my name and...nope...couldn't remember it. Who the fyp was I? Panicky, I raised my head, spotted my PC, remembered the fyp and that in turn finally lead me to who the fyp I was. My head dropped back into the pillow and I vowed to chill the fyp out. It worked and I still did well. BTW, didn't have anything on my mind last Monday but it was all scrambled up. Wish u well on the fyp.

You remind me of a Goonle.

  15. So men are at the mercy of their base animal instincts and women at the mercy of their emotions. This woman is selling a rather simplistic concept. If it makes her rich, she's fooled her followers well.
  16. What the hell does it matter, kid? The guy wanted to marry you regardless!! If u want to marry him at some point, give him a firm date and live happily ever some days. Go get.
  17. Do the Americans think saying, 'have nice day' makes a service good? It's a bad sign when you notice that banks have posters threatening criminal prosecution if you verbally abuse their staff. That's cause enraged dcustomers use their mouths and not their pieces. If u don't have a right to carry a wepaon u use the next best thing- your maaawff- as they say in London.
  18. ^New career as a cabbie? They make good money you know, once they gain the dreaded Knowledge. The meeting went better than the boss expected. His eyebrows hit his hairline when I told him what part of my workload was complete. If he knew just what else I have planned... Kixkixkix.
  19. [edit]Confused, 4get about it.
  20. Originally posted by Bishaaro: Sheh: Once you learn patience then these matters will become trivial. You won't be tested nearly as much. My life has been a continual lesson in patience. It doesn't make me more patient, laakini it does give me the skills to deal with my impatience patiently, make sense? Lol I reckon u've mistaken all of this for impatience. It was one of those days, that's all. This one's going well so far. Meeting later.
  21. 8:10 am and I'm at my desk already. Spilled my first cup of tea already. It ain't looking good folks. BTW, for the first time in yonks I'm NOT stressed. I have put on weight and have been told I'm looking well as opposed to the 'anareksick' I was called 2 months ago. I'm not worried about the meeting, lol. It's just when I say I've completed the work(over and over and over) I want to it to be true and correct. Thanks for the Allah reminder. I have taken my eye off the spiritual ball. I went to bed knowing that but dreamed I went to Hajj with my mother. Inshallah a productive day ahead. Have a good one y'all.
  22. At 3pm I discovered I may have lost everything I worked on this morning. It’s not so bad I reason, it should be quicker the second time round. At 3:30pm I discovered I was worrying for no reason. Most of my work was retrieved. Phew. At 5pm, I’m told something I did on Friday is incorrect. Moodily, I sit down and start to re-do Friday afternoon’s workload in an hour. I didn’t want to be here at 6. At 5:15 I notice what I worked on this morning was also incorrect. I set about re-doing this morning’s work and last Friday’s work side by side. I worry a little about confusing the two but I focus. At 5:45 I re-check this mornings work(just re-done) out of paranoia. I find that I’ve confused this morning’s(by now this evening’s work) with last Fridays’ work(by now also this evening’s work). So much for focus. At 6pm, I make a cup of tea(something to hold me) and spill it on my desk. It’s 6:55pm now and I feel I should go home before I become irrevocably senile I have a morning meeting during which my progress will be appraised. Now you know why hell has a repetitive nature.
