ok this is where i get personal... forgive me dear nomads but i will try hard to be polite... my words goes for ibtilo..girl..you forgetting SOL is for all somalis whether north or south, your language goes to the nomads saying you this you that, i prefer if you use they instead of you.. just for the sake of our unity atleast in SOL... let me talk about somaliland, puntland, jubaland, xamarweyneland, first of all somaliland is a safe place yes some sort of stability yes.. puntland one man is messing things for them.but they doing ok too..i hope he comes to his sense, jubaland had to call themselves that after they suffered in the hands of other somalis...xamarweyneland is a fiction... lets consider those things ... 1. nothing in somaliland, all the green and farms are in south not to mention animal resources or what is left of, somaliland is a dry land how would people survive, beside that eithopia has a big eye on somaliland and will eventually take control if we dont do something about it... 2. south rich but lots of greeedy warlords whom have no concern for their people's interest..and will never agree... conclusion i suggest somaliland stays the way they are and over come thier tribal differences with negotition rather than power and no matter what, never deal with eithopia.. "difficult" but possible... wait till south gets their sshit together and then unite somalia with every region controls their own affairs and have a central government.tht represent the country as awhole and wont matter where that central government will have their headquarters . Central government? for somalis? og girl welcome back first, secondly, it is a great idea and many are debating about that, however somalis will remain somalis, the idea sounds great but their will be other issues that we will have to deal with and will never agree upon...they are as following 1. Where would be the head quarter of the central government, north will say never south again and that is a fact... 2. Who will be the leader of the central government, some will say no voting cause our tribe are little to gain votes... 3. and most important, they will always base everything on tribalism.. so i seriously thing somali's only hope is to forget which tribe u are and just be somali, and second not to wait for those war lord to die and then hope things will be better cause they will never die, always a new one will be born.. the solution? We starting from SOL sign an agreement that no one will deal with any somali based on tribalism or mention it as the SYL agreed 1943 and implemented which made somalia a true country for many years, second organize a community or organization that promote this idea and find foriegn support and one day go back start something like Mandella revolution, one last important thing .. we have to understand some of us will die on the process and we have to accept that.. we somalis seem to be afread of dieying that is why our intellectuals dont want to go back and help to rebuild the country... looool peace p.s it is my own point of view not neccessary correct view of somali situation...
