Shoobaro sxb ... she is not your wife, she is the devil himself.. I really felt so bad for you, cooking cleaning and also instructed to properly use the soap.. that is slavary bro, the title of this topic should be "THE DAY I HAVE BEEN SLAVED" at least she should have helped in cleaning.. anyway, as being bachelor, I go home from work 7:30 pm and I start watching tv while i am undressing, then take a cold shower and start cooking my tuna and mixed with cheese and union and everything that comes to my hand and a glass of coke, i am fine.. and every night the same story, till start smelling like a tuna.. and if i got married she will be smelling like a tuna as well if she ever suggests that i cook... brother did i tell you Asian women are like traditional somali women that our fathers enjoyed being with, they hate seeing man in the kitchen, a man should sit in living room and plan how to take the family to the next level of good living and development to better ... good luck bro, but if it makes you better i think you have been slaved and that was not right... peace

I have been online for so long, and I came to ask myself what did internet after all these years added to me as a person.. it took me less than 5 minutes to see the great benefits of the internet towards my personality and personal gain and are as following: - It has helped me to find online jobs - I made friends with great people who i would never come accross if it wasnt the internet these people some are in this site...namely - Juxa | Dawacoo | Jamaal | ina sankataabte | Nuune | OG | Dareman | the baro family "thou the group confuses me since they changed their names" | Mr. Che | silent sista | Rudy | undercat | and many others it would take me long time listing them, but they know themselves and I have great respect for these people and nothing i would want more than meeting them and have face to face chat with them... these people will remain in my heart for as long as i am alive.. thanks to you all and thanx to internet i have real good caring friends whom i never met but feel they are part of my life... - It helped me find information all sorts of information without moving from my seat - I learn new softwares and loads of programming languages so as you can see this net thing is amazing but again it depends how you use it.. so tell us what the internet did for u positively... I never took this side of the net seriously, i mean the chat and forum side, but these individuals made me think again, they made realize these people are real and these people could be friends you could depend on... peace to all, long live Internet, and Somalia for Somalis ... peace

Sadam is misunderstood, he was a good man, misused and underminded, he was not smart as he thought but he was a good man, a man who has a word and keeps his words, someother people double crossed him, even going to kuwait wasnt his idea and i came to know, he was surprised when he was told iraqis took over kuwait... the path party were the devils, sadam commited no crimes nor he was bad to his people, this book is funded by Americans and Shica clercks and it is full of fiction stories about sadam and war between iran and iraq, he didnt start it and he was defending his land... I have proves for my claims and i will only provide if requested so... og girl thanx sis, it is nice to read arabic after long time, and this is Qabas news paper stories right.? keep it coming ..

OG nice article, but why do i feel Propaganda shiiciya against suni? I think this Dr. is Shiici, and I didnt like the way he decorated the story and few points he made which make Khumayni and him look bad as far as i am concern, this is a Jewish style of looking for sympathy but Jewish make themselves the victim and take dignity out of the window, this guy is looking for symapathy at the same time showing dignity and khumayni didnt shake hands and didnt look at them .. anyway points that made be feel this is nothing but cheap Propaganda are as following: وعند التأمل العميق يمكن ان Ù†Ùهم بسهولة ان الخميني واتباعه كانوا يسببون الخو٠والرعب لصدام والنخبة السنية المØيطة به، Øيث كان معظم العراقيين ÙÙŠ آخر الامر شيعة، مثلهم مثل الاصوليين الذين استولوا علي السلطة ÙÙŠ ايران، ولم يكن اØد يعلم اذا ما كانت الثورة الاسلامية يمكن ان تمتد الي العراق العلماني ام Ù„ and also when he said: دخل الكمالي ومعه ÙˆÙد كبير شقة الخميني ÙÙŠ المدينة المقدسة، وقبل ان ÙŠØ³Ù…Ø Ù„Ù‡Ù… The above part makes Khumayni look bad.. why? answer islamic salaam is a must, and aswering with buruuda is just like not answering at all, and looking around pretending not to listen is not islamic act specially from a sheikh like khumayni.. in Islam you must listen what your enemies have to say, and who knows Allah may put faith into their hearts because of you... OG i would like to read the rest of this, thou i really feel this is just Propaganda of a pissed off shiici who is trying to have a best selling book using the situation we are in these days... Thanks sis for the info.. keep the good work and keep it coming ./.. peace

I was listening to some somali songs, and I was a bit disappointed the low quality and wrong choice of words in these songs, some had no point to make, some supposed to be romantic songs but i see them far from romantic.. examples: 1. Juba aaka aka shololob : what the hell that suppose to mean, for Allah sake someone tell me what was/is the point of this song.. 2. Gacmaheeda xaada leh: so what? why does he have to mention a hairy hand and make it look good, what is the point again, nice to touch hairy hands? or what? 3. Waranaa igu taaganee: if an arrow hit your body, you dead, and if he says the love i feel is killing me, then i would say to hell to that love.. 4. Itaabo aan kutaabto: what is that? 5. Adunbaa daraadaa dibadaha wareegaayee,: I am sure she didnt ask him to walk around pointless.. so guys please tell me do you see what i mean, if anyone has a song that has a good point and good choices of words .. let me know.... cause i havent so far... peace

Question 1: Do all of us think of what we write when starting a topic or posting a reply? I do think about it, sometimes I even take 20 min. of writing a message and read it twice and if doesn’t make sense to me, I delete it and re-fresh my mind and come another day to write. Sometimes when I reply; I read the topic and come back to reply after a couple of days.. We have to be fair to the poster and don’t be quick to judge. Question 2: If there were students that learn from the wisdom of the words we write (in SOL), do we think our words contain any useful information that can benefit them (student)? Yes, actually i learned a lot from some of our sol members even thou i am not student.. they share useful website addresses, and give many tips, i my self try to share what i got, Question 3: About chitchats, do our words in regards to general talk contain anything beneficial to any reader that browses SOL, or does our chitchat serve any purpose? Yes, people get stressed, disappointed and sad in some cases, these people in the western world the answer would be to seek help of shrink, and pay loads of money just for someone to listen to u, in SOL it is free and most of the time u get great advices and the least thing you do. You release your stress and express your feelings. Question 4: When we start a topic what is our intention? Are we after learning from others' opinions or just to seek popularity of some kind? Both; 1. Some seek attention, nothing wrong with that, to achieve your goals you must be known depending of the nature of the goal of course. 2. Some write it because they want to say something they believe in and want to express and see others' opinion on the subject matter (constructive debate), 3. Some others have time to waste and have nothing to do or achieve and they see people around them busy, so they create some sort of debate and try to drug everyone into it, so that the create “ collectively doing nothing society†– (pointless debate). I advice those to find a hobby, maybe design a website, or read a book. And come back share your experiences Hope that answers your questions; actually this SOL is a great service which could be taken to another level, a much higher level, think like a business, lets say if you have a shop and you have products to sell, and never change your products or add new products, people will eventually fed up with what you got and you start losing.. my point is SOL has thousands of members, some are becoming lazy to right, cause I am guessing maybe they don’t see new stuff, Dear Jamaal consider that; of course after discussing with other admin(s) and try to add some new function to this one, or maybe change the look so that people will feel this site is developing and not static.. … Loads of love to all Somali people.. peace

one day i was a teenager not long ago , I use to think if i end up with a bad mother in law, i would sumeen lahaa slowly so that no one will know it was a murder... then i joined Xer (Islamist group), i learned mothers are the road to Jana and they mean well, so since then i am for mothers wheather in laws and own ... so if you are you mother in law is pain, send your wife for shopping and then go to her mother and tell her few words "if you dont stop bothering me, I will send your daughter to you without dacas by tomorrow", it works she will never bother u again.. try it those who are married and have painful mothers in law... peace

Bro professor You do not cure sixir with sixir, who told you that, and people who use sixir against sixir, are just doing the same thing, they are removing sixir with another which will stay and do damage till it is removed with another that will take its place.. so it will always be there.. curing sixir is possible, you cure it with Qur'an and prayers, do not believe sixir will remove sixir, it might but the new sixir will take its place, so any form of sixir is unacceptable by Islam and there is not such good sixir.. reading certain suura and aayah of Qur'an cures sixir.. wabilahi al toowfiiq wa allahu a'alam .. peace

Prof. first if you cant read or write somali you shouldnt call yourself prof. but you asking adive i assume.. ok if you can read and write english, then there is no reason you cant read or write Somali.. unless you slow.. i hope not... do the following - Study your english alphapet and do the following changes C= AA ( somali or ayn in arabic) X= haa Somali DH = d'aa That is it.. it doesnt require intelligence to do so, right? unless you dont know somali.. then that another story, no one can help you unless you visit dhagahboor or qabridahare then their is a hope you learn somali langiage otherwise, stick to your latin language and forget that you are Somali.. peace

one good thing about men holing their tears... which is when you see a man crying it has to be for a huge reason... and i have seen it, and it breaks your heart.. you dont need to know the reason he is crying, you just know it has to be a major issue.. but on the other hand .. now adays men cry for little things, so i think the legacy of men should not cry has turned to a very unpleasant turn .. men now aday cry cause a girl left him, men cry cause he lost a mobile phone and with it he lost the number of a girl he met and really liked, men cry when they lose their job, so ... i am men crying but for reasons that is beyond imagination and for pain that no many can take... peace

Lander, Shooboro, thanx once again.. and i sure will enjoy.. i think wearing a T-shirt that says I Survived Cambodia.......... i guess that should give them a hint to not to talk to me at all and wait what i have to say about indhoyar world. Che sxb good to see an old nomad, havent seen u for awhile.. hope you were not planning revelution on some small country in somewhere on earth.. and about your advice bro dont worry AGA is international word now, people use it all over the world .. some UN report was saying it might soon replace the word "DUH" or "aaye" .. so i guess it wont be a problem.. good to see u again on action.... peace

Crying is a result of Emotional intelligence.. actually the nineth intelligence in the Multiple intelligence theory.. what is my point? ok Women cry and it is accepted by the so called society, men dont cry, it is not nice again by the society.. the result of such primitive thinking is Women living longer and happier life than men... Crying is a biological solution of releasing harmful hormones and ought to be released.. men keep it so hard till it kills them, crying is a form of expression, anger, sadness and depression are feelings which leads the release of hormones within you body that needs to be removed from your system, guess what? There is one way to remove these harmful hormones and it is through your eyes and these little drops that comes from it.. so CRY and don’t be ashamed, you will be healthier and happier and see your grand children to tell them all you happy days and sad days… peace

Sister hasna .. thank you .. it is an honor to be loved by a muslim for the sake of Allah, I love you too for the sake of Allah, as our prophet said scw, meaning "two people loved for the sake of Allah will enjoy the shadow of Allah when their will be no shadow but the shadow of Allah" may Allah make us enjoy Allah's shadow, and may Allah unite muslims sooner for there is a much need at the moment.. Aamiin peace

^^ not quite right.. I always remember the good things and I dont write the bad things my friends do to me on anything which means .. it is as it never happen... and the good things they do for me i write it in my heart for as long as i am a live it stays in my heart and their deed will be with me forever till the grave seperates us.. Life is short and many suffer..help one and its like u helped all... some say too many poor people how can i reach them all and they give up when they realize they cant reach all, but what they forget is helping is the start and that one will help another till help is our slogan and peace will be ours.. peace
