  1. I didnot say 3weeks Your Wildness, I said 2-3times a week (every other day).....come on now. 3weeks, hell no....even if my life depended on it. xoxox
  2. lol@Wild Cat, FYI, any self respecting hair specialist will tell you that 3X a week is the recommanded time to wash your hair. One wonder, why the cat loss so much hair??? xoxox
  3. Good point about the shoes Runaway_Virgin, I read somewhere (maybe cosmo) that you can tell alot about a person by what kind of shoes they wear. So guys beware......lol. Dont be wearing them black sneakers that goes with everything (according to you) xoxox
  4. Thank You...I think, since this is my post, I figure on behave of Xaliimos "as you put it", we thank you. It seems to me that Rule #1 for Faarax, and Rule #9 for Xaliimo, are in direct conflict....how do you solve that OH Master. Again, Thanx xoxox
  5. lol@Tic Tac....truer words have never been spoken (written). xoxox
  6. Who, Where, What Professional men?
  7. Ouch! I must agree with you on rules #2&3, bulls eye. However, I object to rule#1 (no flowers, and no compliment.....is a NO NO). Gifts on 1st date can be overlooked ( it is a bit much.....but by all means stop by Godiva ). I appreciate little mystery but please dont over do it, it becomes boring. And since we are giving advice " Guys dont talk about yourself all nite". Mopp_Deep, do you practice what you preach? if so, how successfull are you on a scale 1 to 10 (1 being least ). xoxox
  8. Patience is #1, ingredient. I used to get all worked up about how short my hair is, but the fact was, I used to cut them every 3months, and did not give it chance to grow, so I changed my routine, now I only cut every 6months, and they are growing, plus I ignored them. here are somethings I do; -Hair Mayonniase is also good for your hair, give it a healthy and shiny glow (once a week) -Use only one type of shampoo and conditioner ( changing products can be harmfull for your hair). -Wash your hair only (2-3 times a week), too much washing can damage hair (water pH...needs to be considered). -Easy on the blow-drying (dries and damages hair) -Dont color them every month (that is what I did, and it was not pretty after the 5th month). That is all I can thing of now, will let you know if I think of something.
  9. The simple answer is we dont like change , and if we accept others into our community it is a change. After all, we have been thru a lot over past 13years, and we are coming out of our shell slowly. hope that answered your Question. xoxox
  10. lol@ Mobb_Deep, how presumptuous of you to suggest " men are the one thing women want". Of course you are wrong. I cant live without shoppin', for everthing else there is MASTERCARD xoxox
  11. Thanx Lulla, it seems you are the only one to think so. xoxox
  12. Is there a dating rule that you follow everytime you go out with someone new, or do you improvise? If so, please share with us. I improvise according to who I am going out with, however, I have a golden rule that I never break, I ALWAYS LOOK GOOD Seriously, someone told me recently; She always kisses on the 1st date, and when I asked her why, she said "if I dont like the way that person kisses, or there is no chemistry I dont wanna waste my time with them again". I must say, I was intrigued by that response. Say your peace nomads....
  13. Wild Cat, You are really funny, I laughed so hard...thanx, I needed that after the day I had. Poster, all men are interested in women's body (unless they are gay) no matter what they say. That being the case, dont stress it sista (after all 4 of them already put you thru the test, expect another 400 do the same). Live&Learn xoxox
  14. Sure I'll let him marry another woman, as soon as we are divorces.....it is that simple. xoxox
  15. Ever hear Salt'n'Peppa song " what-a-man", that is who I am looking for. But in this life time, The Rock is close enough...lol xoxox
  16. How would I handle it you asked K_K? like a Pro 1st I will set the mood by listening to JOE's song "What if a woman", then I will follow it by watching "Two could play that game"...at this point my blood is pumped and I am supremely pissed off  , then I would watch "SWF" and interpret as SINGLE SOMALI FEMALE. I would re-read " Revenge is best served cold", I will put on my War Paint, open "a can of wup ass" the rest will be history.... xoxox
  17. Thanx for your wisdom K_K, it sounds like you have 1st hand experience with this kind of situation. In an ideal situation I would agree with you 100%. Except, I can't quite dismiss years of friendship, and sisterhood, for something like that.... This is a damned if you do, damned if you dont kind of situation. Thanx Nomads, keep those radical ideas coming, we could be helping someone with this...ever think of that..huh xoxox
  18. There are two question here, please answer them separately...thanx 1.What would you do if your bestfriend's man comes on to you? would you tell her what happened, or keep it quite?? 2. If your girl goes after your man, while still your bestfriend, and you found out, what would you do? Your input will be appreciated my nomads...no funny business now  xoxox
  19. @30, by then I will take the first offer (if there is one, or join Baydan at the Masjid..lol) Either way, no time soon. I think you are too young to even consider gettin' married, enjoy life sista, what's the big hurry, once you end up with Faarax, the fun stops...know what I mean! xoxox
  20. It seems to me that some of you are having their cake and eating it too. when you say; "The post is funny and true, and at the same time point out how disrespectful the poster is being by calling the muslim sistas ninja" I fail to understand where some of you are going with this, it is a fact that most sister that wear xigaab in my experience STINK, for lack of better word. I was astounted to read what Buubto wrote; it is a sin to smell good if non-muslim man notices it!! What is that? and where did you hear it? I doubted it but if it is true than she should stay home where non-muslim guy cannot smell her. xoxox
  21. OK! what's up with " too expensive", like pple dont spend alot of money already........please. I am almost sure that a great weddin' can be planned without all that outrageous amount of money somalis spend for 3hour weddin'. The professional wedding planner have so many connections and "rukun dad u ah" that they can rent banquet hall for less and dinners for less and the cakes for even less money. Maybe the fee for the Weddin' Planner would be high cause she/he would be doing most of the job, but if the weddin' turns out fabolous.....I doubt anyone would remember how much they had to buy for it all. xoxox
  22. I think we should have a Wedding Planner for somali community. what y'all think about that? cause I have seen alot of good weddings spoiled because of unorganization " by that I mean, so and so was supposed to do that", but if there is a wedding planner it is their job to see to all the minor and major details. Just a thought. xoxox
  23. I am just wondering why is it that only technology has a Thread??? There are other subjects to talk about? such as bio, or chem, or math. Interesting stuff like that. this is just a thought, I'll appreciate a feedback. xoxox
