gediid iyo hornafrique, you both are right. gediid you are right that shire jaamac is not the pioneer of the somali latin script, many people used the latin script for somali but without the 'x' and 'c' and all that. hornafrique is right that it was shire jaamac who gave the somali latin scrpit the finishing touch by changing the function of different letters. ok? laakiin hornafrique you are making the job of shire jaamac bigger than it is. how hard can it be to 'remodel' an existing script like the latin script?

wind.talker= yeah man puntland has its own mafia and its growing but people dont know because crime doesnt get as much media coverage as politics. this people smuggling is turning into an industry and this is not all they also smuggle marihuana and liquor through boosaaso wich is manufactured by eritreans and ethiopians and destined for the arab markets. sometimes puntland police intercept some of the products and than burns it, but they only capture a fraction. the illegal trade just flows. and there are also gangs, they are organised along neighbourhoods and therefore subsubclans lines. they have some weird names, like ciyaal faay, ciyaal santos, qudus, isbaar, suweeto etc and they mostly fight each other so the people dont even notice. but they rob cars and shit like that. they also raid the refugee camps in boosaaso and harass the people. luckily cadde muuse has declared war on these kids, but i dont think people understand that gangs and mafia grows and develops as the economy and society grows and develops. yo did you hear about the pirate militias, puntland couldnt do anything about them either. but i think the pirates are our heros, they attack every foreign boat they see and they will take them hostage. hehhe laakiin this really resembles that documentary i saw about africans being smuggled to europe. exactly the same thing here. they give a lot of money for a hard trip through the dangerous sahara, than they have to go with a socalled 'boat' over the mediterranian and if they actually make it, they risk getting caught by the coastguard or something. rahima= These are grown people who are risking their own lives, no need to try and blame others for it. I'm sure the PL administration has far more pressing matters than those who couldn't care any less about their safety. well it does say there are a lot of kids involved. besides its clearly a product of somalia as a failed state. so it needs to be solved right away. but i do concur there are more pressing matters for puntland like the tsunami.

BN= There seems to be quite a queue forming to gain entry...I suggest the next hopeful candidates grab a ticket and wait their turn. like the bouncers of the discos, we should only let the pretty girls in. wind.talker= I didn't get your point. How do you know Caabudwaaq will be part of Puntland? - you sound so sure. i know fo sho, because realy caabuudwaaq has no other choice. the walaalaha galguduud dream bullshit that they had was smashed in dizzles after the xeraale affair. in the xeraale affair they saw that theres no such thing as walaalaha galguduud and they saw the helping hand of puntland as a sign of long lost brotherly love. so yeah am sure they will come, but i hear a lot. it will take a while for them and puntland wants to set conditions. if xaashi was still president they would have less trouble getting in, but cadde muuse is dealing with domestic problems namsaying. jumatatu= You picture pukeland look like as if it is the EC and you have the audacity to utter the word carbage..damn. And the other thing the residents of Baraxley are in the Mogadishu and under the shade of the mango trees..go and ask where those in north Galkacyo would like to live given the choice dude i thought you were for real, laakiin its all negative with you from the get go. man ive been to gaalkacyo, baraxley waa eber and not because of muqdisho, because we all know the ones that have gone to muqdisho are living miserable lives as maleeshiyo that only survive on jaad and can get killed every moment of their life. they put their lives and money on the line for a fateful trip to boosaaso to become tahriib. yes youre right waxay ku maqan yihiin raaxada xamar. rahima= Only because they have turned to building Mogadishu . I must say though, each man should return to where he came from-the city is too crowded. But I doubt that anyone who has had a taste of Mogadishu not to mention gained success (in this world anyway), will be returning to Mudug (the Kaneeco is enough to make you run-thankfully my mum does not read SOL building muqdisho kulaha, darling muqdisho was allready built. and i still see the demolished buildings of xamar. what the hell did you built? cant we say the same thing of the rest of north gaalkacyo, that they built puntland; boosaaso, garowe etc. i know mudug waa meel kaneeco miran, damn i hated those bugs they would fly up your nose, but they are everywhere from djibouti to kismaayo.

looool jumatatu some people think puntland is a nation or something. i think this news waxba kama jiraan. cadaado will be part of a dowlad goboleed that includes the southern mudug and galguduud provinces at least. xitaa baraxley doesnt want anything to do with puntland, how the hell can one take serious that cadaado wants to be part of puntland. war waxaan waa iska sheeko. cadaado doesnt want to be part of puntland, its that simple. Puntland should be more inclusive. If this is true, and I would say it is positive step. ninyahoow please leave some for the rest of the future federal states. if puntland takes on every district of somalia, why the f**k do we need federalism for. some people here dont know shit about what is meant and planned with the federalism if they think puntland has to include not only boosaaso but also walaweyn. i mean, com'on now! you cant be that silly to not understand that federalism is a product of mistrust between clans. Seems to me that the interest these districts have expressed in a merger with Puntland have only reinforced the successful political idea the regional government has attained for itself over the last few years. saaxib, puntland may well be successful but thats not the way somalis think. the somalis in cadaado -if this shit is true- wont think they will get jano if they are part of puntland, just because puntland is doing very good. plus the parliament is discussing the issue about caabuudwaaq district and if it doesnt get a majority vote, they will not be allowed to come into puntland. i think sooner or later, caabuudwaaq will be part of puntland, but cadaado will be part of midland or something. horta whats the deal with the 'land' thing, ma new trend baa. i heard some silly thing of reer garacad caling themself coastland after the major plans for garacad. walee dadka weey waaleen.

this special report is made with cooperation by different somali journalists, including from puntland, so its not biased against puntland and wants to shed a light on some of somalia's problems and not harm the image of puntland. qaybta koobaad - puntland iyo ka ganacsiga tahriibayaasha (puntland and its people trafficking business) summary qaybta koobaad= since the demise of the somali state, many somali people couldnt cope with the hardhips of every day life. they choose for a better life and a future to other countries like yemen, libya for example. not only is the trip and stay to boosaaso a hard one, also the seafare on the red sea is a dangerous one where the smugglers dont give a damn about the wellbeing of the smuggled. when they survive, theyll have to deal with a hard life in the country, risking to become beggers if they dont find a job fast. yemeni authorities are reported to severely injure the captured smugglers. and that for the 1000s of dollars they give to their smugglers in puntland that are making fortunes of misfortunes. ceeb caleek, the smugglers are puntlanders and they are shunned in puntland as the faa cali of the sea, a despised gang in boosaaso. they carefully select their victims from shisheeye (those that do not hail from the main qabiil in puntland) from southern somalia (muqdisho to cabudwaq), ethiopia and some more. if they smuggle puntlanders, they know they will get caught easily. can general cadde muuse succeed wherein c/yussef failed? qaybta labaad - muqdisho: safarka muqdisho ilaa g/bari si loogu sii tahriibo yemen iyo sucuudiga (muqdisho: trip from muqdisho to northeast somalia to be smuggled to yemen and saudi arabia qaybta sadexaad - kismaayo: tahriibayaasha u tabaruca gobolada bari si ay ugu sii tahriibaan yemen (kismaayo: smuggled off to northeast somalia and from thereon to yemen qaybta afraad - puntland iyo tahriibayaasha (puntland and the smuggled) summary qaybta afraad= keyquestions: why are somalis so desperate to go to yemen? why does puntland smuggle in these people and cant do anything about the situation? what can we do about it, wich has costed so many innocent somali lives? well the somali people are tired of the situation and what comes on top of it is that somalis from qurbaha come to a place like muqdisho and flaunt with their money and feel like kings. the locals see this and want this life too. when the northwest of somalia made a government in 1991, northeast somalia was still in war. before the proclamation of pntlnd in 1998, the smuggling business was allready so much grown and developed that the infant puntland could not do anything about it and had to watch helplessly. ad thing is that this mafia bullshit is growing and the evil smugglers ae becoming more brutal, bringing their victims to caluula and acting like its yemen just to save time and money for the next victims. the prices vary to what kind of boat. we cannot and should not wait for general cadde muuse or c/yussef to fix this problem, the people should get up and stand up and fight these smugglers that are giving the same people a bad name throughout somalia. in other parts of puntland like east sanaag, the most forrested area in northern somalia, the people have fought and are fighting the illegal loggers of acacias. ================================ this is the kind of 'boats' for on the red sea/gulf of aden Faalladdan waxaa ka qayb qaatay: Talo bixinta, Qorista & soo ururinta; Amiin yuusuf Khasaaro, C/fatax Jaamac, Faysal Xaaji Siyaad, Cabdi Xasan, Canab Mumtaz, Xasan Dhooye iyo Maxamed Cali oo kala jooga: Muqdisho, Kismaayo, Boosaaso, Nairobi iyo Woqooyiga Ameerika.

horn africa, i expected a shir like garoowe 1998 saaxib, this is just a shir to strenghten peace for reer gedo. its really a good sign how all reer gedo put their effort in the peace of the area. for without peace, no development namsaying. about your location saaxib, dalka waan kala aqaana. since when did galguduud have hills, are you serious about balanbale hills mise waa kaftan?

With FT present on Somali soil and warlords not on board, war is imminent. With Mogadishu up in flames, governance is impossible. War between the members of the government means civil war. That means we are back to square one. The government will lose its legitimacy. It is that simple saaxiib. walaahi arin muhiim ah baad taabsiisay. that risk is a great possibility and even imminent if shit hits the fan. i didnt thought about that. i guess politics never goes without pitfalls, so this is definetily one for the tfg to ponder on. I say change the whole equation. Start with the international observers including Arabs and secure financial and material help for the government in Baidowa. I think Inna Yussuf have a viable case to make if he goes down the relocation route. Scrap the FT altogether and take away warlords argument. do you know that if the government sits in baydhabo that they wont get anything near the material and financial support of anyone as when they are situated in muqdisho. thats the problem. white house and downing street letteraly said, we will only fully recognize c/yussefs government when it is in its capital muqdisho. so c/yussef needs to balance hastiness to go to muqdisho with carefulness not to get killed. but to make matters short, the tfg will get the 'prizemoney' when it sits in muqdisho and not in baydhabo. and i fully understand it, if i was an outsider i wouldnt trust a government that cant go to its own capital either.
-
gediid you do have a stake in this issue, no need to front saaxib. as a seccesionist its bad news coming your away if the perceived enemy of the northwestern seccesionists, c/yussef will receive full recognition as de facto president of all of the united states of somalia from the us and thereby the whole international community when/if the man secures muqdisho and makes it his seat. game is practically over for seccesionists in the northwest. on the issue of relocation, what? can you blame the man for feeling the need to make baydhabo the interim capital when you see all those military officers and foreigners being killed like flies in muqdisho, all these killings are a provocation to c/yussef. let alone himself. villa somalia would have to be guarded like crazy if he goes before securing muqdisho with reliable troops and not the ragtag ciyaal suuq that roam in muqdisho now. behold saaxib, the keyword here is interim, muqdishos status as the undisputed capital city of somalia is not under siege unlike you want us to believe. the issue is to secure muqdisho first, till then c/yussef stays in baydhabo -isnt it also a somali city that deserves to host its president- to end my story, if youre smart youll know that if c/yussef gets killed, the whole tfg is killed with him and thereby the hope for somalia to go back to normalcy. thats why all somali patriots shouldnt rush and act like kids, we waited one- and a half decade for this opportunity, so we can certainly wait another few months. And if Col. Yey thinks that with foreign troops he can triumph, he is wrong. America with its state of the art weapons and more than 100,000 thousand troops couldn't dare to take Falujah from an ilequiped melitiamen. I think the foreign troops will only add one more deadly dimension and will seriously complicate the matter. What Col. Yey needs to do is to appraoch the problem in traditional Somali way, "SHIR - GEED HOOSTII" and follow the painstaking process of solving one problem at a time. But that is highly unlikely since he is a man who had got used to solving things with the barrel of the gun. Well, if that is the case, then as they say: geelow daaq, daaq oo markaad ciin daaqdo ayaa laguu yaaba... sacadadiin, who says anything about triumph. didnt muqdisho say they would welcome him a green carpet and wet flags, than why the hell do you have in your mind these foreign troops are meant for offensive, if that was the case i would be the first to oppose. even a senile dog knows no one can trust the muqdisho faction leaders, so they shouldnt be surprised if c/yussef wants to bring troops with him anyway. i mean people forget the city is not owned b the faction leaders, its owned by the people and they are under the tfg. so this fallujah affair you predict wont happen, unless reer muqdisho betrays everyone for all to see and goes full frontal with c/yussef from the get go. but i do acknowledge the possibilty that a fallujah affair could happen in our capital. those shirs maybe worked for the north in somaliland and puntland, and they could also work in for example bay, bakool, hiiraan etc but they wont work for areas held hostage by invaders from alien clans. taas iska iloow saaxib, c/yussef aint no fool. when i was in gaalkacyo this past summer, i was taught that in somali society you wont get anything done if you play nice. i think c/yussef made a virtue of one of his flaws, being a mean a.ss mothaphucka.....

what a dumbass that kimbo is, why the hell did he bend so much like a damn ape. it was his mistake for giving the white dude a chance to have kimbo on lockdown and choke him, and by chocking him exhausting the guy out. i mean clearly kimbo was stronger, definetily a lot faster and a lot more aggresive than the white dude. you could actually see how exhausted the white dude was if you check out how lame his shots were, he had to go to uppercuts and swings to actually hurt kimbo. the dumbass people standing in front of the camera every now and then was really annoying, especially at the last bit. i dont know but it came as a surprise when the white dude got tired earlier than kimbo, but kimbo was the guy who lost all his energy at the end and therefore lost. you could see kimbo could have won, even though white dude used his knees. kimbo really needs to review his strategy and not run around like a smalltime punk if he wants to become pro. if he understand that a history of a decade deflowering other guys and treat them like prostitutes in jail doesnt mean that he is automatically gonna knock the snot out of every dude that steps in his ring, than he has a chance of a future. i saw this white dude gannon (hes pretty famous for a white dude in the underground fight world wich is extremely dominated by black guys) in another match, the black dude that knocked the shit outta him broke his leg in two when they both came full frontal with their underlegs. that was funny. -
hehehe sorry bro. collateral damage, collateral damage. needed to save my own a.ss by letting yours kicked by velvet's high heels.

you didnt answer my valuable question plus why did you bring up that girl xu in the conversation. i was talking to you wasnt i? i mean i agree it was pretty dumb of aj to call film studies useless, i would never do that. but you gotta admit wanting a well paid job is not snobbish. just believe me that i will be filthy rich, am doing everything Allah swt wants and some. must admit, i asked Allah to become rich, so i think it will happen. plus im a genius in making money. i earned a lot of money selling used cellphones, so i am must be one of these guys that just have 'it'. Who knows...she might end up becoming Somalia's answer to Stanley Kubrick! who knows, but it would have been better if you study film studies 'on the side' and have something more solid to fall back on, while doing the thing you love. im speaking of experience, my dad wanted to send me to the art academy because i excell in sculpturing and drawing. but it didnt work, because art academy is useless. i just do my thing and draw and sculpt as a hobby, even though i have been slacking off these days.
-
so don't listen to AJ, the snob. hehehehehehehehe lord have mercy! so this dude is a snob for wanting to have a steady job and a stable life. than i am brooke of the bald and the bootyfull hehehe. ok aj waa a snob. but take someone like me. i am going to do business and i will become filthy rich, yeah you got that right. my projectgroup under my management was the only group to get 80% for their business concept. am i a snob then or are you dying me to ask your hand? seriously.

dont waste your breath. muqdisho will always be our capital city man. i mean what are we talking about, 15 years of destruction, rome, berlin, rotterdam, nagasaki, stalingrad were all worse and they recovered and forgot the past. muqdisho is no exception insha allah!

Seeing A Chance of Unity in The Deployment of Ethiopian Troops!
Sky replied to Alle-ubaahne's topic in Politics
wiilo, fikraddaada waan kula waafaqsanahay. dadku waa in ay marka hore fahmaan in ciidamo itoobiyaan dhul soomaaliyeed jooga ay la mid tahay maleeshiyo qabiil hebel jooga dhul qabiil kale. laakiin somalia is in an extraordinary situation and thats why it takes extraordinary measures. its planned that the ethiopian troops (oromo, somali, tigray, amhara, afar, gambella etc) long with eventual other nations will be deployed in primarily our capital city muqdisho and also key points in the rest of the south, like baydhabo, beledweyn, kismaayo, marka, baraawe etc. their mission is to defend maxamed cali geedi's government, protect government institutions, key infrastructure, disarm the ragtag clan militias and train the new national defense forces of the somali federal republic. runtii if you look at this fact, its not that bad really. one thing is for sure, those that scream our ears off of itoobiyaan ayaa noo gumeysanaaya are either acting silly or have a secret agenda, a darker agenda. they contradict themselves by saying one time that they are against amxaar and the next time they say they dont want any foreign troops what so ever. pretty weird innit? do they actually expect that the president and prime minister are so dumb to trust the very same gangsters that robbed and maimed our country blind. its clear for all to see that they reject foreign troops, because foreign troops means showtime for the warlords! real change and not just another controversial faction to spice up somali politics discussions. they betray themselves with the lies, muqdisho is safe! but the atrocities we hear almost every day says otherwise. i for one am against ethiopian troops, the xabasha or rawmeat eaters are our sworn enemies. we can do business but we are not friends. also ethiopian troops only angers ummadda soomaaliyeed, while ironically the government is for these same people, they tend to forget to listen to their own people. i hope there are alternatives, but im afraid there is non. no kenyati, lets not talk about djibouti -muqdisho alone is 2 times larger than djibouti state lol- no other africans, excet maybe ugaandees and certainly no arabs, taas iska iloow. as much we would like it, let face reality, the international community is allready reluctant to send any troops, so basically theyre saying we should be satisied with whatever comes our way. so in that case, ill say bring it on! -
Oh...How does the Prophet know that person's sins will be forgiven? I thought only Allah knows who will be forgiven. You could say that the Prophet will interced for that person on the Day of Judgement, but does this automatically mean that all the persons sins will be forgiven. the prophet knows, because hes the archimaam. he has the knowledge as the messenger of Allah swt. and as a muslim, regarding the arkaanul imaan, you should have faith in the prophets like believing in Allah swt, His angels, fate and judgement day. to say it bluntly, they just cannot be questioned, you just have to believe it, its why its called 'believing'. if you mean that by only devoting all his prayers to the prophet will automatically have his sins forgiven. than no of course not. thats just not how islam works. as in matter of fact this story abot the prophet and a man i remember from dugsi quraan is quit useful here: a man once said to the prophet , "o messenger of Allah swt. a woman is known for her much prayer, fasting and charity, but she hurts her neighbours with her sharp tongue" the prophet replied, "shell go to hell!" the man than said, "there is another woman who does not observe her prayer and fasting, and gies dry pieces of cheese in charity, but she never hurts her neighbours." the prophet said, "she goes to paradise!" moral of the story is that morality is the soul and essence of worship in islam. hope you are wise enough to use this to answer your questions. [im afraid im talking to a wall here, but its worth a try ]

good news. i heard about the mass campaign of "bringing somali kids back to school" of unicef for somalia earlier this month. the emphasis is increasing girl participation. they are going to build a large number of primary/secondary schools in NE somalia too with a minimum quota for girls, i dont know about south somalia. so if theres any catch, that would be that girl enrollment is forced on the parents. pretty good catch innit?

It is Allah who provides not the ECONOMIC CRISIS.. couldnt agree with you more. but people twist trust in Allah and dependance in Allah. only you are responsible for the path you took, for Allah gave each and every individual choices.

Sometimes an older Somali "uncle" comments openly on my looks, telling me I should watch my hips or whatever, or even if they compliment me on any part of my body. that's indeed utterly disgusting and quite frankly he has no right commenting on your looks, even if he's your parent's sibling. but many people let this rudeness slide by thinking that the trespassing person meant no harm by it. i too saw the same problem, especially when i'm asked about what i study. i tell them that i study ibms international business and management studies. noting wrong with that, but my brother studies the exact same thing. i was told to stop immedeately and start studying as an engineer or a doctor. so that if my bro hits rock bottom, that i won't be the second one to bite the dust. interesting logic. wors thing is when you'll receive hash criticism on the person you want to share your life with. man i think all somalis can attest to the vicious comments bestowed upon the married couple in their own wedding. perhaps there are many beneficial aspects of the paranoid tendencies of the somali people, feeling the dire need to assist the quality of the somali community with hard discipline. like many parents do to their children, by 'toughing' them up. but it could also be that somalis are just plain rude, because our manners are focused on a different level (a higher level) for our norms and values are different. such as being blunt being an admirable virtue.
