    Troll Corner

Not much of a troller, but here it goes. Finally I get to experience a happy day today. Had filed for a complaint against the school administrators. Today my school lawyer called me and gave me some good news: I won the case and the school acknowledged their mistakes. I'm a stressfree man again. I'll check out if I can get some compensation out of this, but overall I'm a happy man. Sometimes life is sweet.
  2. Hey FF Your link to www.havenoclue.com ain't working.
  3. Story is; Trife, a rapper from Stapleton and protégé of Ghostface Killah (Wu Tang Clan) is releasing an album called from Stapleton to Somalia, cuz his hood Stapleton and Somalia represent poverty and both are struggling. This is good news, more awareness about Somalia. I remember those jokes on the Fresh Prince or the Wayans Bros about Somalis. Not good! 99% are about our weight and the rest about how poor we are.

  5. Its clearly not allowed in Islam. A woman cannot have another man's semen in her womb that isn't her husband. Let alone a stanger. Clear and simple! If I can't have children with my wife, adoption would be the only other option. In Islam adoption is very noble and rewarding, I must add.

My faith in Allah keeps me confident and also motivates me. Everything I asked for after a prayer in my life, I always got it.
  7. Yep Buuraha Daallo is a silsilad. But don't know where it exactly starts and ends. I bet Suldaanka can give us the whole info. Plus are Daallo and Golis two different mountain ranges (Silsilads) or the same? Or is Daallo part of Golis?
  8. Breathtaking views. I'll definetily visit Sanaag some day. BTW That is one tough lady to be able to climb that mountain in that dirac and than smile in front of the camera not showing she's gasping for oxygen 2 miles above sea-level.
  9. Great blog. I can't wait to go to Somalia and just chill in the baadiya, away from stress and everything. I remember last time, I was watching a Denzel movie on a humongous Plasma Screen TV while sipping on my cappucino and eating a cheeseburger. That was deep in Somalia, Gaalkacayo.
  10. Ghostface & Trife Present 718: Stapleton to Somalia by: brooklyniteOne Tue, August 30th, 2005 Trife’s solo debut, 718: Stapleton to Somalia is set to drop October 18, 2005. The 25-year-old emcee hooked up with Wu-Tang's Ghostface Killah while he was on the block and they formed an instant bond. “I used to come home from school and watch Video Music Box on the floor model in the living room,†says Trife. “The first video I really liked was the MC Shan’s ‘The Girl Left Me Lonely.’ I saw how he was getting down, looking all fly and shit. That’s when I knew I wanted to be a rapper. Ever since then I always knew I had it in me.†The album also features appearances from Ghostface on six tracks as well as Kool G. Rap . “This album is like a buffet—you can eat all day on it,†says Trife of the project. “My nigga Ghost is from the same hood and I remember one time I spit a rhyme for him in the park,†Trife says. “He saw some potential in me but I was little too young at the time. So, he was like, ‘Yo, when I get right and shit starts popping off, I am going to come back and scoop you up.’ And he stayed true to his word. That’s why I love him for that.†“I’ve seen how the game works from his experiences,†says Trife. “I’m a nigga that sits back and observes shit. A lot of these rappers think it’s just about rhyming, but they don’t see all the other bullshit like going to the studio, doing interviews, going on promo tours—you’ve got to have patience. That’s a lot of wear and tear on the body, and some of these cats don’t see that. Most MCs think this is fun and games, but this is a real job for niggas.†“Stapleton to Somalia that’s like representing the struggle,†says Trife. “Cause there’s a lot of poverty out here in Stapleton, and Somalia—you already know what it is like out there. So, I just combined the two and called it Stapleton to Somalia.†“That was the first one I really took hold to,†Trife says of the Jim Bond-produced beat. “As soon as I heard the shit I was like damn that’s me right there because I’m fire. I just put it together like I was fire and what I do to niggas on the mic. I’m hot so niggas better step back. My nigga Ghost hoped on it and that’s what it is.†Having put in as much time on the block as he has in the studio, Trife spins tales of the drug game with the grimy “Cocaine Trafficking†and “Them Drugs Ain’t Mine.†“When I first started hustling, the police would always **** with me,†he says. “I don’t know what it was. Maybe, it was a sign that I shouldn’t have been out there slinging drugs. They would accuse me of shit I wouldn’t do. I got locked up and probation for shit I didn’t do while I was in high school. I was a young, ****** *** little nigga, but that’s a real story right there. It means a lot to me because people need to know how police get down. They be trying to give black dudes time to get them off the street. These little niggas don’t understand that. That’s why I wrote that song.†718: Stapleton to Somalia Tracklist: 01. 11. Well, I'm not having a good day today, so maybe that's it. Just heard that I lost the case against some school administrators with some issues. One of them failed to sign me in to my exams last year which cost me ECTS points for nothing, out of anger I threatened and insulted him. (Apologised of course) If I want to appeal, I could risk getting in serious financial trouble. If I don't, than I'll have to find another school. Sometimes life is a Btch!
  12. Sad, to see people with a Fd up mindset. I personally prefer darkskinned Somali women over lightskinned Somali women. Nothing is more unattractive to me in a women, than one who clearly poisoned her skin with bleaching products. Well, aside from smoking of course.
  13. Well you've put words in my mouth that I didn't say. Than its a personal insult. I could tell you why I feel sorry for you, but that would be too brutal. So I'll refrain.
  14. What have I done to deserve a personal insult?
  15. ^^ You gotta admit, its the most exciting section in SOL. Nowhere else will you witness daily fights and gang fights. 80% of the members that get banned in SOL every year are from this section. That place is gangsta. But hey if you enjoy reading brainfarts, than the Generals is your place. Coomay, you are in the wrong section. If you want to go to the section where people discuss ideas than follow Sheherezade's link.

  17. How sad that we can't watch it over here in the west. I hope that we can watch it inshallah in the new future. Insha Allah, you will. ETN is working on it and the Bosasso branch of STN-Mogadishu; STN-Bosasso also. Till then you'll have tobe content with STN-Mogadishu. Click here for an interesting article: Geeddi ma Raalli Gelin doonaa Puntland? There is a dilemma, someone is gonna bite the dust. Kawaran if the PM is right? Or if the PM refuses to apologise? The Puntland gov displayed some geeljire/cowboy politics. They acted as if Gedi said Puntland doesn't have the right to develop. In the meanwhile President Cadde is on another business trip 'disobeying TFG orders'.
  18. Well honestly many Puntlanders are exaggerating the PM's statement and view it as an attack on Puntland. Miscommunication occured as some Somalis still didn't grasp that Somalia is walking the federal path and that its pioneer; Puntland is determined to be as autonomous as possible. Pictures from the press release You can watch it on ETN; the new Puntland TV channel released on digital TV.
  19. Jumatatu General Duke is right. Somalia never had a president that was elected by the people. The reps you are talking about in the 60s were not elected, they were appointed. Do you remember how many Somali politicians used to pull it off to represent a district they never heard of their entire life. Since you tried to defend yourself against the truth with lies. We can conclude that you lost this debate miserably. It seems that it is a trend in your case.
  20. The PM's statement on Puntland's deals with foreign companies to explore the state's resources has angered many Puntlanders. The Puntland government demands an apology from the PM and states that it will continue its work of attracting foreign investment on their own. heart of a lioness

Yes I've seen this on Animal Planet. Quit extraordinary isn't it. It defies anything we thought we knew about animal behaviour. Even when the lioness was starving, you could see her struggling not to eat the antilope. Lions are definetily majestic animals. The Douglas-Hamilton family are quite impressive. The patriarch Dr. Ian D-H had spent his life rescuing elephants throughout Africa and all his daughters speak several African languages such as Swahili, Samburu etc.
  22. Yonis Eyl is a special place. Formerly the urban centre of the Northeast, now it is almost a blessing that its so isolated. You'll be amazed by its wildlife. If you drive from Garowe, through Sinujiif to Eyl you'll see herds of antilopes running around and a leopard hiding in an acacia tree. Its a great place, you can dive from a rock cliff into the warm, light blue-green Indian ocean. The bravest, dives from the highest cliff. Part of my family have their roots in Eyl and own potato farms, but these days I heard date farms are becoming the norm. Many Eylians passionately hate the Sayid. Well I can't blame them, he has thrown 100s of innocent Eylians tied to each other from the highest cliff either to be drowned or devoured by sharks. This crime was commited only because of a suspicion that turned out to be false later on.
