  1. All Somalis would have embraced if and only if TFG didn't exist in name and weren't pocketing the little aid the country gets. Unconfirmed reports of one dead man isn't gonna get people cheering for TFG. They should try a bit harder.
  2. ^Saaxiib a dead pig is no different to me than a dead foreign extremist who made a life out of murdering dad Muslim ah in their own backyard. I did not call him gaal so I don't know where you get the idea but the little I know about diinta, it won't judge him favorably. Nothing controversial about defending your home and self from a foreigner [Muslim or gaal] coming to take what's yours. Dhiig Muslim la daadiyo ain't easy regardless the faith you hold.
  3. It's official. Axmed Diiriye come to seek his cut. SL better understand the language odaga speaks. Axmed doesn't spend words without any gain.
  4. Ibti: I like all that you wrote but his death in Islanimo won't reduce or erase off all his criminal activities in Somalia. For all I care, his dead body can be fed to the stray dogs and pigs in Moqdisho. What matter the most is that Moqdisho and Somali parents have one less foreign extremists to worry about stealing the fruit of the lives, their children. May Allah double the cadaab for him for every teenager he helped recruit and brainwash.
  5. ^isqarxiska ma tacsiyeyaan horta? Allah u naxariisto jana firdowsa ha geeyo. Somalia lost a great scholar. Cilmiga uu ka tagay ilaahey ajar iyo xasanaad iyo sadaja raajiya ha uga dhigo.
  6. ^Where did you get the transilation of the ayah? The man in the clip is signing these words "Rasuulka Alloow adaan raxmad kaa rabnaa" iyo wax la mid ah. If that ain't shirk, I don't know what is. I am always puzzled by these people claiming to love the prophet scw more than anyone else yet can't even get the prophet's proper authenic salli right.
  7. ^Replace the word Arab with SL and that just defines you. Once these protesters find their voices, they can form large crowds and things go out of control by then. There is no saying who and what they can change.
  8. ^Such a blatant disrespect to the bulldog. Somaliaonline is better off without these phony characters acting up real dummies. They aren't worth the disk space. Really.
  9. ^Uducee Caydiid as he made it possible for your leader and cousin Godane. Ileen wuxuu waligiis saas buu u madax adkaa. Jahanama madaxa kuu jilcisay. Xabad ma joojineyno ku ye. Little did he know Siyaad Barre would retire in a palace in Nigeria while Caydiid remained a moving target for the rest of his short life. That mental suicidal man baa dad wili hero u aaminsan yihiin.
  10. A big long but was interesting to watch the difference of opinions in the changes happening in the middle east. On this edition of Peter Lavelle's CrossTalk: Is pro-Western democracy a pleonasm? Can the Arab world become democratic without any guidance from the West? Or will it remain a hotbed of terror in the eyes of US officials? And can the US learn anything from the democratic uprisings in the Middle East? CrossTalking with Rachael Alexander, Brendan O'Neill and John Laughland. " frameborder="0" allowfullscreen>
  11. Indeed very disturbing specially when elected officials spewing hate speech inciting violence against Muslims in her district. Sadly, these kinds of elements is lately becoming synonymous with the GOP party.
  12. lol@hobyo. Maxaan ka ogahay I always hear Eyl and Hobyo are pirate safe heaven. Anyways, this guys needs a serious reality check. For him to base his asylum on speaking against piracy shoots the purpose of isdhiib. Piracy is a big problem for Puntland markaad dibadaha joogtid. Balse inside PL, pirates on high sea qof kala jelec baan jirin in the sense of posing security threat to the livelihood of people. Then again, immigration officerka akhrinaaya arjigisiisa muxuu ka yaqaan what goes on in Somalia. Laakiin you and I would ask him first what he did in PL that his pregnant wife got beaten up so bad that he relocated her to a refugee camp in Ethiopia.
  13. I must not received the memo. Did SL appoint Ngonge a minister of something? I have not seen Ngonge so passionate and energetic not to mention convincing about the crown jewel that's Somaliland since Siilaanyo got elected. What changed Mzee?
  14. ^ You can tell the story sound fishy. Wixii lagu qori jiray arjiga asylumka buu la soo shir tagay odaga. Since when pirates go to the doors of Puntland parliamentary members and start beating up their wives? Unless the parliament seat is in Eyl or Hobyo. I am not defending pirates or piracy at all but I don't remember hearing Somali pirates killing people up violently except the case mentioned in the story which had something to do with the rescue mission.
  15. ^Awaluhu wa aakhiruhu baa la raaciyee dee. Leave the little girl alone. Her parents could adapt you as a pet to their little girl yaa ciyaal.
  16. Ibti: Your message is loud and clear. If Somalilanders do it, "it is vital and important for practical reason and for academic reasons that we know how many [somalilanders] in numbers are here." But if others do it, it is "just corrupting the data" Zack and I are at least fair and impartial. Anyho, thanks to you, I passed the word over to other Somalis grouplists , forums and urged all to include their clan information. Hopefully, this Census will record all those Somali qabiils living in UK.
  17. horta ilahay ka baqa ee videoga xagee laga helaa? Ina-jaad, Ilaahey iyo porno in a sentence. War maxaad soo cabtay saan kuma fiyobidee.
  18. Believing doesn't make it so but I hear you. It only makes the process inclusive if every maryooley marks his own toolo.
  19. He's as good as a bait. Somalina posted the whole article on another thread but JB had to dedicate a thread with a misleading title for a feel good moment for tolka boys around here.
  20. Ibti would have you believe 60% of UK Somalis are ethnically Somali and regionally from Somalia especifically Northwestern Somalia, a place that has been seeking to secede the past twenty years from the country. I don't know about the figure but these people are Somali by ethnicity and their national origin is Somali or Somalia since by law UK doesn't recognize Somaliland as a country. I can only image the Census bureaucrats going in circles figuring out what to do with Somalis writing in so many different labels on the Census forms. From what I know, the Census is used to determine the govenmental representation, social, community services and schooling funds an area should receive from the federal government. The rest of the data is used for statistical purposes, not to fund, aid or recognize foreign governments. Census officialls don't care if you were born in Banaadir, Burco or Boosaaso. I can only imagine the headache these Census people is waiting to happen. Reminds me of a friend who told me he substituted for high school teacher one day and asked students to record their attendance on a sheet. Each student wrote in a celebrity name after his. They handed in a two sheet paper of which half of the names were Hollywood celebrities. Heck the SOL spell check doesn't recognize Somaliland. It's yelling at me with red underline marks as I type the word. Ibti work on the spell check recognition first.
  21. ^That slow. What she's saying is that only a fool would claim of dowladnimo iyo qaranimo and resort to a derogatory terms to describe the people he's claiming to be part of. That's just beyond stup1dity.

The Census results will be used by public bodies to plan their services to the public. It is important that the Census results reflect accurately the various communities that live in the British diverse society. That is why questions about national origin, ethnic origin, religion ect are included in the Census. There is a campaign to make sure that you record and identify yourself as a Somalilander. The data generated from this census can be useful to us for the next 10years in terms statistical date and predictions for the future- particularly in areas of remittance, micro development, date on age, education and earnings of Somalilands and Diaspora lead development (or lack of them in the future). There is a large community of Somalilanders in the UK and considering they make up to almost 60% of Somaliland's income it is vital and important for practical reason and for academic reasons that we know how many in numbers are here. The 2011 Census gives the Somalilanders an opportunity, please don't just tick the African box and leave it at that. I will post relevant information closer to the time. But for the time being for anyone interested West London Somaliland community is launching their campaign this weekend. Bringing together many organisations and other Somalilanders, including Boon Hirsi, Somaliland Ambassador to UK and representatives of the Somaliland political parties. The campaign event will take place at: Uxbridge College (hayes Campus), College Way, Hayes, UB3 3BB and it will start at 5pm. Give us feed back if you go. How did I miss this important memo. Thanks Ibti. I am gonna put Puntland on mine and will spread it to my tol. We still have few weeks to go. PL folks in UK, show your love for Ibti. Same thing with Moqdisho & Ocaden folks. Make sure you mark yourself as your region to get better Census stats and better development for your region even though the Census has nothing to do with anything outside the country.
