Rep Wiener sure acted like a Wiener. He is one of the few democrats with balls. You should see his of 911 responders and healthcare debate. GOP is targeting him like mukulaal on jiir. Very unfortunate for the democratic party. GOP hopes he broke House rules for using government computers to send these emails/pictures. the Michigan-born but Saudi Arabia-raised Abedin has ascended the ranks, with positions as a personal aide and advisor to then Senator Clinton as well as “ traveling chief of staff ” during her presidential campaign. She currently serves as a deputy chief of staff to Sec. Clinton. She was named this past fall to Time magazine's "40 Under 40" list of New Civic Leaders, where the profile referred to her as Hillary Clinton's "shadow." Abedin, who speaks Arabic fluently (her father, who passed away in 1993 , was of Indian descent and her mother, a professor in Saudi Arabia, is from Pakistan), is a practicing Muslim. Her husband, who's Jewish, has been known to fast with her during Ramadan . Soon to be ex-wife caadi ma aha. Come to think of it, her last name Caabideen and his Wiener. The meaning of both last names waa beynal mashriq wal maqhrib:D

Cool. Odaga looked qalfoof in those pictures today. Wow for seeing some of these updates already implemented. The app store is now updated to show Purchased column reflecting all apps bought by the user logged on to the device. It shows the cloud icon next to the apps were purchased but not installed, offering you to simply download them without prompting to re-enter id/password. Totally cool. However, On the Not On this Device, it lists stuff you downloaded/bought over the years including all those lite apps and other crap apps you thought were good but gotten rid of. Not so sure. Is it too soon to ask a way to edit the list or categorize because no one wants to see or go through a long list of all the lite apps they downloaded to test drive before buying the full app?

"Somali ikayakoo Muslim ah ayay sidaa iyo si ka daranba isu galeen." You say Somalia has seen the worst than Palestine? Is that waxaad la soo shir tagtay? I know it's not the direction of the topic but really? Somalia was in conflict how long? And how long Palestine? On the topic: Israel success story has some religious factors including biblical prophecies and the chosen people of God. La dhinac istaag hiil iyo hoo waa doing God's work and fulfilling biblical prophecy iyo soo laabashada nabi Alloow Ciise. So it boils down to religious conviction.

If Sharif Farmaajo get an illegal extension: Puntland Should walk away
Jacpher replied to General Duke's topic in Politics
As dirty and disgusting Somali politics gets, no one should be giving another ultimatum. If PL were to give bad marks, I bet Faroole would be getting a failing grade. PL populace wouldn't hesitate a second to fire Faroole. This fool is eying to bring changes to TFG leadership when in fact he's failing to lead PL to peace and stability. What a shame. What's his 15 with Farmaajo or Shariif? -

Human life takes precedence over road conditions. Somalis are still struggling to figure out how to save their own lives.

Make it a singular, not plural. A leader, he is. One out of a sixteen gazillion that thrive everyday to cut the legs of Somali people and enter the ocean of the Somalia.

Zack: I could barely speak at a camera pointing at me. I know the people in the clip know a lot about the state but they were thinking of Soomaalida iyo Minneapolis. Like I said, waxaa meesha ka dhex muuqda ragii ugu soo horeeyay stateka qaarkood so I know they do know a great deal of it laakiin perhaps the question was narrowed to Minneapolis.

Good stuff. Many familiar faces of Somali pioneers of Minnesota. I for one, can't stand the harsh windchill but don't mind the snow. I am a bit disappointed though no one mentioned all that makes Minnesota great outside of Minneapolis. From the Boundary Waters, to Ely, and Duluth and Lake Superior to the Vikings to MOA the largest mall in the continent to the historic sites of Fort Snelling and Mississippi river. Years ago, I got the opportunity to spend some time in BWCA with oday cadaan ah but turned it down. I still don't know why. We ain't outdoor folk.

Has it ever occurred to you that you typed Somalia in the URL, not Ethiopia? This is owned and operated by Somalis, not Ethiopia. Remove the filth you posted here please. I am sure there are way too many free internet space you can post your garbage than this corner of ours. Someone please delete qurunkaan or ban him for advertising a dictator that murders Somalis left and right.

More than 50 Somali-owned shops in the South African city of Port Elizabeth have been attacked and looted by local residents. Police said four shops had been burnt down and about 200 Somalis living near the shop premises had fled the unrest. A Somali community leader told the BBC there was some resentment in the area about the success of Somali traders. At least 62 people died in attacks on foreigners that swept the country three years ago. Correspondents say that in poorer areas, foreign workers are often blamed for taking homes and jobs from the local community. 'Tied up' "About 200 Somalis ran away from their shops, where a lot of them live, when other residents started attacking them," Captain Andre Beetge, from South Africa's Eastern Cape police force, is quoted by the South African Press Association as saying. Capt Beetge put the trouble down to business rivalry and said the situation was contained by the early hours of Thursday morning and people were now returning to their properties. In total, 52 shops were looted and three were burnt down in the Motherwell area and three shops were looted and one torched in Kwadwesi, the police said. Abdirahman Yusuf Ahmed, a spokesman for the Somali community in the Eastern Cape, said one Somali trader was in hospital after he was tied up in his shop when it was set alight. Mr Ahmed told the BBC's Somali Service that in one area local residents had tried to help when the attacks began. But the crowds ignored the attempts at intervention and moved from one Somali-owned shop to the next. He said the recent local election could have stirred up xenophobic feelings in the area. "Some parties were campaigning that they would expel the foreigners if they succeeded in the elections," he said.
