If your argument is "when all [young bearded Arab looking men] are interned like the Japanese in WW2, all over the States" in camps, then they have a valid point about freedom of speech/religion. Please save your attempts to deliver a sermon on people's rights and freedom. Again, Arabs make up less than 13% of the Muslim world. I thought someone like you should have known that. And those violent flash points you see on the map are marginal numbers compared to the population there. Plus this offensive clip sat on Youtube for about two months before it got a dramatic coverage.

^yes there may be some truth to that on your side of the world but certainly not in the neck of our woods. Hambalyo.Mrs Moons.

Their rights will also be curtailed to appease others. For me, being offended is an option a person exercises, most of the time I choose not to take that option. You mean the young bearded Arab looking men that end up detained haven't had their freedom of speech/religion curtailed? The story is getting more interesting. Reports now link the making of the film to a Christian charity group, anti-islam activist and a soft porn director. Interesting you've got an evangelical making hateful films about Muslims and producing porn films? So much for a christian. Violence is never the answer. Why am I not surprised the media conveniently omits reporting the peaceful protestors, and the more populous Muslim countries that haven't had any protest at all. Do the protesting Muslims with violence make up 1% of Muslims? Here's the map. Red indicates violent protests over the film, yellow indicates non-violent protests. Click to enlarge. President Hassan views on Amisom and Somaliland
Jacpher replied to Shinbir Majabe's topic in Politics
How long will the secessionists rejoicing the newly elected president in here have until they start calling him names?? Nothing new. Most sane Somali leaders know SL has done good and deserve credit for the relative peace and stability it achieved over the years but at the end of the day, it can't stand by itself. It needs to negotiate and stay as part of Somalia. The president knows he serves Somalia's interest and that it can't break into smaller pieces. His approach may be different. Yeah so you see there is always going to be a 'but' somewhere in the sentence. -
What the brother is saying is Ask Not what Turkey can do for your country, Ask what Somalia does to itself. A valid argument some are seemingly avoiding. Anyho, I hope Somalia will wise up and grab the opportunity Turkey is presenting to us.

Juxa: lol@biyo-biyeeso oo bisinka uqabo. In other words, for sure you can't go wrong with revert but Somali man...dee dani meel ku dhigtay You took the question to the next level. Ragga xaa dhulka loogu jiidi? On a serious note, I don't get why people make excuses for themselves when answering this question. I mean people who are really into marrying cadaan/madoow go the extra mile to make the case about Somali men/women. Can't they just say it was my preference? I've heard a fair share of these girls marrying reverts and some turned down few good Somali men. Why scapegoat Somali men?

^Hargeysa xaa loogu duuli? Dalka mee ka baxsan tahay? Don't have the player, hate the game Carafaat. If you secessionist were to play as well as unuka, perhaps, meel baad gaari laheyd. Say your congrats waryee.

How can you expect Somalia to come out of its misery with such candidate? You are either a hoax or naive simpleton flip flopper.

It's time for Faroole to go the way of the Sharifs
Jacpher replied to General Duke's topic in Politics
Faroole ain't popular in Puntland but there needs to be a strong momentum against him that will humiliate like Shariif got humiliated today. Faroole won't go down easily but I agree he's gotta go. -
I think everything was going as planned or predicted Shariif to win until the second round. Gaas and Cosoble withdrew to support Hassan Sheikh. That's when Sharif's chances of winning diminished. Hassan will likely get men n of caliber, an academic like him appoint PM. Expect Farmaajo/Gaas or the likes of them for PM. Bright future for Somalia.
