  4. I wonder if you would put forward the same reaction knowing people in your block, or city whom you go to school or work with, have as many sexual partners as you can image, probably more than 58 before they tie the knot or reach 40 years. I doubt if you go around and call them pedophile, akhas, or STIs? Please spare filmka aad inoo digeysaan.

Ar kuwaanaa. Waswaasaa ku ridoysaan igaarta. Sugar love iskaabulo ma aha igaarta. Xey tahay Cereal, Toast & Tea. That’s mareykan see camal adi. Iskaabulo breakfast aad sheegoysaa. Alihii igaarta doobnimada ka dul qaadayaa daa’im ah. You don’t sound a sugar love lady. More like Basbaas love. Fartun: You’re doing great. Keep up the good work. Your happiness is what matters the most. If you have time and don’t mind, try to get involved with the community center, the Masjid would be a good place to meeting new friends. See what kind of activities they have. Maybe you could volunteer. Enjoy your married life. Some of the advice dhag jalaq ha u siin.
  10. I second that Camel boy. The progress of peace and stability deserve commendation, not segmentation of the land. Baashoow, those you refer as hardcore secessionists are diehard fans of Ethiopia and would pretty much favor joining Ethiopia than the so-called south. Why not let them have their piece of the cake, not the whole slice just a piece, since they’re suffering of incurable illness.
  11. Try this page; It contains some good advice.
  12. Doesn't this topic belong to another section?
  13. Leno and Letterman managed to piss off that former Senator and a friend of Cheney, on Larry King Live last night. I think he said the jokes were disgusting and sick. I can’t believe Jay is retiring in 08 and being replaced by Conan. That would suck for late night laughers.
  14. It's probation as reported by Awdalnews.com, not prison sentence. Some of them are under 18 years. Amelia: I agree with you the fine is a little too much. It seems the police wanted not only to teach the youth a lesson, [which I believe is vital for their betterment] but also to collect a little something on the side. I think offering the option of doing some volunteer work, if such thing exists, would benefit both the community & the kids. I’m sure the whole thing is no more than juvenile behavior that almost every one of us went through at some point in their childhood. It does not deserve incarceration or huge fine, which could cause a burden on parents. Goofkaanaa yaacsanahay. Admaa magaca badalatay! Yaakhey tu kalaan ku maleynaayey nooh, goolaa iga dhalisay.
  15. It’s six months probation & 100 thousand fine (of course in Shillings) not jail time according to Awdalnews. It has nothing to do with Islamic laws I think, just the court system of the current administration. It's funny how one parent said he can't afford to pay the fine as he is unemployed. I wonder what the police would do to the kid to collect the fine? 17 girls & 7 boys. I guess that explains why some sisters in here are upset with the rulling. Don't bash Somali culture. Valentine Day is shuqul gaaleed. Thanks Castro for the link.

  17. The Danish editor who commissioned the Prophet Muhammad cartoons at the centre of a global row has been sent on leave. Flemming Rose, culture editor of the Jyllands-Posten newspaper, got the order after saying he might print Iranian cartoons of the Holocaust. The Danish cartoons, seen by many Muslims as insulting to their faith, have sparked worldwide protests. Earlier this week, an Iranian newspaper said it was holding a contest inviting cartoonists to depict the Holocaust. Hamshahri said it wanted to test the boundaries of free speech, echoing the reasons Jyllands-Posten and other European papers have given for publishing the caricatures. Jesus cartoons Jyllands-Posten editor-in-chief Carsten Juste told a Danish newspaper that the paper's editors told Rose "to take a vacation because no-one can understand the kind of pressure [Rose] has been under". Juste, who said the paper would not print the Iranian cartoons, did not say how long Rose would be on holiday. Earlier this week, the editor of the paper's Sunday edition defended a decision three years ago not to publish five unsolicited cartoons of Jesus' resurrection. "I turned them down because they were not good - their quality was not good," Jens Kaiser said. He said he should have been honest with the cartoonist, instead of telling him in an e-mail that readers would not enjoy the drawings because they would "provoke an outcry". 'Tasteless stunt' On Wednesday, Rose said the paper would consider printing the Iranian cartoons, "but we will not make a decision before we have seen the cartoons". However, Juste said that the newspaper "in no circumstances will publish Holocaust cartoons from an Iranian newspaper", which he called a "tasteless media stunt". The Jyllands-Posten newspaper, which has expressed regret for offending Muslims by first publishing the cartoons last year, apologised for Rose's latest comments. "Flemming Rose has expressed regret for his error of judgement that must be ascribed to the fact that... he has experienced inhumanly hard pressure," Juste said. Rose also apologised for his comments. "I have committed an error. I am 100% with the newspaper's line and Carsten Juste in this case," he said in an interview on Danish television. Source: BBC
