It is not that bad. Just poorly written, extra spaces and capitals letters. The text just doesn't flow with the layout and the design. It looks like something put together by a second grader. Anyho, the point of the flyer is to convey the message and it does convey the message clearly. But next time, I expect better work if you gonna represent Kissima. Saalix: Kenya is home to a million+ Somalis. Stop demonizing my second home away from home.

^It's not him, see the disclaimer he added in the bottom. Waryaa Zack, af-soomaaligaan ma waxaa soo qoray Apophis mise Haatu. I didn't realize they were in Columbs Sxb tell them next time to hire a better flyer designed and a fluent Somali, not Sijuwi. Keep us updated sxb.

Gotcha Oba. You must be referring to that video you posted here of Beesha Jamaame out of Jeddah. Well, they have every right to oppose for they're of Jubaland community. I'm told they are represented in the conference as every community in the region but from what I know of, very peaceful people so I doubt if they share the ugly prayers of war and destruction aired on this page. I think it is highly unlikely reer Jamaame will do your dirty war in Jubooyinka.

^Oo ma xalay bey qolo khaas ah degeen northka? When was the last time you've been to the city? It ain't like Gaalkacyo or Xamar, a divided segregated city within a city. Reer Kismaayo waa hal wada daga, no north, south, east or west. Baladaada la wareegeysid wiiloow Alle ha kaa caafiyo.

^North Kismaayo? I've never heard of North Kismaayo. What's in the north? Ma xalayto baa magaalada la kala qeybiyay? Keep praying for war and destruction yall.

Clan Cleansing in Somalia: A Book Review --Must Read for President Hassan

Wuxuu kuu sheegayo waa from the mouth of Keydmedia. It seems interesting enough book that it indulges into the nuts and bots of the wounds of Somali civil war, which most Somalis avoid by saying waa la is-laayey ee ha laga gudbo. If we're going to build a country by wax walba ha laga gudbo, history may just repeat itself. Where do I find this book? -

Not that complicated if the government is committing its resources into other cities and claiming to protect the minorities of other gobolo. Why is Hassan ignoring the minorities of Muqdisho who lost their properties to thugs still living in them, while he's busy appointing maamul in other places? Charity begins at home. Clean up and return the stolen properties in xamar first.

You are either for the federalism within the constitution or you are against it. There is no pick and choose.

STOIC;932227 wrote: It is a tough Spot Somaliland is finding itself Xaaji. All this chatter about Somaliland is Muqadis is pointless when Somaliland and Somalia start playing hard ball. And don’t even goad me into the oil thing lest we end up like our brothers from Puntland. This is beyond Somaliland ambition and ego. This is something that involves all Somalis and it is going to take a big Convincing to separate from Somalia. I’m not a fan of Mogadishu administration and the clan divisions they have down there, but we are still at their mercy! While Somalia will never be in a position to project its power to Somaliland, they still hold the key to our secession. We can hire all of K-street and still not be able to win the secession agenda. The world has a vital role in keeping Somalia together and it is highly unlikely that they will support our goal. The bed-wetting unionist in Mogadishu if they have an iota of patriotism they would have started winning the hearts of all Somalis by creating a clean slate administration with no clan chatter , but it is hardly unlikely they will get their act together any time soon. We will be isolated unless by the grace of God we somehow become strategically placed between some conflicting interests of the super powers. Mogadishi represents greatest danger and greatest hope of all Somalis. It is unfortunate reality and we have to deal with them.Somaliland greatest strength and lies in the energy and determination of its people to keep on moving and minding their business with or without recognition for now.We shall keep on striving to be modern and democratics as we are and maybe who knows the world will recognize the beacon of hope we are building there. It is obviously in our interest to pray they get their acts together in the South and hopefully we can sort this things out in a clean way. Idealogy should be the best weapon of all to wade off anything that can challenge Somaliland.Silanyo should keep playing hard ball and people should not lose hope. This should be the message and not a false promises. Its is the loyalty and the patriotism of Somalilanders on our side that have kept Somaliland keep on moving on and it should now. Historical pride and patrotism will take the people far. Who knew Stoic was a full fledged in the closet separatist. Sadly no amount of sugarcoating and delusional thinking gonna make Hargeysa a country of her own. By the way, the same "an iota of patriotism", & "clean slate administration with no clan chatter" you say Muqdisho lacks, also lacks Hargeysa. But Hargeysa goes further by calling herself a country of the tolka, for the tolka, by the tolka. You see, Muqdisho isn't trying to build a qabiil country in the facade of modern democracy of qaran and downladnimo.

STOIC;932215 wrote: Somaliland is a reality in Somali world today. You will be ignorant or blinded by lack of objectivity to deny that Somaliland exists today. This is unrecognized corner of Somalia that began by a concerted mobilisation of political forces against the Siyad regime and it succeeded to establish unrecognized State after a violent upheaval of the Somalia civil war. Twenty years after the formation of Somaliland I’m sure a a new generation of public intellectuals, political and social leaders, human and civil rights activists must have emerged from the very bosom of this unrecognized state. I’m sure they are all keeping an eye on Silanyo administration and wishing to correct the course of the nation as it fits. Silanyo and his administration should realize they need to sharpen their knives as Somalia’s dawn of new beginning is upon us. They will not win Secession by getting red-carpet treatment in Some foreign countries. They will only succeed when they convince Somalia that nothing is left for them in Old Somalia. It will take people with love for their country to keep the wheel moving.Keep on keeping on Silanyo!!!! Yes my good friend, Somaliland exists not as a country, but part of Somalia, a region within the borders of Somalia, the only official country in the Horn of Africa. So there's no country called Somaliland. This is a new start, acknowledging Somaliland region of Somalia is what Somalia is dealing with today, not a foreign external country called Somaliland. This is the view of all Somalis minus the secessionists.

^Sxb in short, when an executive can't get his operational manager to get a task done, he has no option but to first acknowledge the failure of his manager and its reflection of the leadership of the company. Saacid failed to persuade Jubbaland communities to bring them into the fold of his boss administration. Now Hassan see his administration's failure in part Saacid failed to move the agenda of the administration forward. Now Hassan has to find a way to get the job done since his pm is a complete failure. That's how businesses work, nothing personal.

Oba: Stop reading this garbage. If you want to learn Somali history, do the research yourself. What this author is doing is exactly in the title; cycles of endless clan revenge to push Somalia into a deep grave. That's it. This piece is pushing Somalis into "deep grave" by presenting factual historical errors to continue the "cycle of endless clan revenges". I couldn't get past these. former Somali president, Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke who created the mess that we are witnessing today in Kismayo Abdirashid who was then the Somali prime minister campaigned for the construction of Mogadishu-Kismayo road to facilitate the settlement of [his] clan members. The dream was later on put into the grave by the military dictator General Mohamed Siad Barre, when he took the office in a military coup in 1969.

I doubt if a news conference held 500km away is gonna bleed the Jubbaland conference in Kismaayo. In the eyes of his boss, Saacid failed to stop Jubbaland. Now he is reduced to discrediting them through the media. Hassan is about now regretting his choice of picking a spineless YES man. Hassan will have no choice but to hand the pink slip to Saacid.

^Right. Some Amison forces from Sierra Leone will be here to fight the already Amison forces in the city serving their mandate to keep the peace. Maybe in your delusional mind, the Kenyan Amison troops ain't 'peace keeping forces' as you put it. I thought you were saying on other thread 'Somaliland Warning Somalia', in this day and age, cid laga adag yahay ma jidho.

^Right. Muqdisho will bring the mighty military to capture and control Kismaayo's sea and airport as it once did in '91. Sierra leone AU troops to be deployed to kismayo

And the Kenyans are not even taking over other parts of The Juba regions ask your self why? Sierra leone AU troops to be deployed to kismayo
Jacpher replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
^Sxb you seem to playing naive today to suggest these troops are coming for the 'government agenda' regarding Jubbaland and a 'real game changer'. In fact, the news reports say these troops weren't adequately prepared to be deployed three years ago. In other words, they are coming today to fulfill their pledge in 2010 to provide Amison troops for Somalia, now that they have completed their training and ready to carry out the Amison mission. You're reading too much into Sierra Leone AU troops. X.Xaaji ayuu kuu salaxay with a misleading headline. No one reports any troops coming to Kismaayo. :D That's x.xaaji's nightly prayers I guess but not happening. If anyone should be worried, it is AS, not the Kenyan AU troops in Jubbland. My understanding is that they will be based somewhere in Baydhabo, Xudur area where Ethiopian troops are said to be vacating. Kenyan AU Amison troops liberated Jubbaland and I don't think they are as dumb as you think.
